Grey’s Anatomy Casting Scoop

We’ve got a hot new man at Seattle Grace Hospital, but he’s less McDreamy and more
McSlimy. Eric Dane (Charmed) is set to stir things up as Mark, the former best friend of Derek “McDreamy” Shepherd, and former lover of McDreamy’s wife, Addison. If you remember it was Addison’s affair with Mark that drove Derek out of NYC and into Meredith’s bed.
Why Mark would come all the way to stir up trouble for the Drs. Shepherd, I don’t know, but it’s certain to cause a bump in the Drs’ already shaky path to reconciliation.
I just hope the writers don’t put Mark & Meredith together because (a) that’s so cliche, and (b) poor George can’t take much more of Meredith’s sexual conquests with men that aren’t, well, him.
