Is Everwood Still Breathing?

Listen closely and you might just hear the faintest of heartbeats coming from the dying Everwood. TheTVAddict.com is reporting that his contacts over at EverwoodOnline.com are saying that there is a slight chance that our beloved show might not be ending as planned this Monday.
…because of the outpouring of interest in the show, from the fans and the critics; CW has reopened talks of renewing Everwood as of Tuesday (yesterday).

That would be awesome – but I heard the actors have all signed on to new shows, etc etc – how could this even happen?
