GMMR Forums…Keep or Go?

Last year we opened up the Give Me My Remote Forums as a place where GMMRers could meet up and discuss their favorite shows, actors, actresses etc. Over the past few months I’ve seen a decline in participation on the boards. I’m debating closing the forums all together but I wanted to ask you all about it first.
Do you visit the GMMR forums? Would you be bummed if they were shut down? Have you never joined but think you might? Drop me a line and let me know what you think. I’m not 100% convinced either way…it’s really going to depend on what you all think. To be honest, I would love to keep them going because I think unlike some forums/message boards I’ve seen, people are really cool and respectful of others opinion. But really, I’m only going to keep them going if we can get more peeps in there.

I really, really hope more people will join in the healthy discussions. I am always amazed at other people insights on shows.

i have personally never visited the GMMR forums, but i think i might give it a whirl.
I have visited once or twice. I will try to make a better effort in going there.
I used to post once in a while there, but haven’t gone in for some time now. I guess at this point I don’t really have an opinion either way.
I do like the fourms, but I felt like a thread killer. I have noticed the decline in posts lately, so I stopped posting. I say keep them.
They helped me survive the long Office-less summer and I even got into the open forum. But fall brought more work and things have been too hectic. They’re great forums and worth keeping. Maybe there’s a way to tweak the format to encourage more participation? Seems a shame to lose them.
Keep ’em! Now I just have to sign up….
Keep ’em! But we all know that I’m biased, due to my ridiculous addiction to anything but work.
Oh – I also wanted to add, that maybe they could stand to be cleaned up a bit. But I don’t want to add more work to your plate, GMMR, you already do so much for us.
Think about it – and if there is ever anything we can do to help, let us know.
I just registered and I think it’s a great place for fans of tv to get together.
I’m with Brian – I spent a lot of time in the forums during the summer hiatus. I don’t know what I would have done without the forums, actually lol. I think you should keep them, but I’m so busy lately I haven’t been spending much time online anywhere lately.
