We will make you into a 24 believer yet, GMMR. The show is so addicting and I have to say that I would be very surprised if they don’t get any wins.

I have to agree with Brian about The Office. There are other countries including Germany and France making versions of the show and of course, I’m hoping it takes the win.

To be fair, I haven’t seen Tsunami, The Aftermath so I can’t really compare your pick for Best Actor in a miniseries made for TV, but I really think that Michael Ealy was amazing in his role as Darwyn in Sleeper Cell and I’ll be routing for him.

I like your picks too GMMR except, again, the 24 thing. I really hope it wins best drama, much deserved I think and I like Keiffer for best male actor although to be fair, I haven’t seen Dexter, Big Love or House sooo… I know, I know I should watch House, I’ll have to get the DVDs this summer. Ugly Betty, I still can’t get into, and I’ve tried, so I have to side with Julia Louis-Dreyfuss for Best Actress Comedy, I think she’s hilarious. Best Comedy Actor will be a nail-biter for sure but I’m rooting for Carell all the way! Boobs!!

Usually, when I really want something to win, it doesn’t. However, 2006 wound up being a good year for turning things around (The Office at the Emmys, the Democrats in the House and the Senate). Let’s hope that this reversal holds tonight. I love seeing my “Office” people so happy!

Keep in mind, The Office is an international phenomenon too with several countries making versions, though maybe not to the extent Ugly Betty is.

I feel like I watch so much TV, but these awards make me realize how much I don’t watch, like 24, Lost, Big Love, Desperate Housewives, Weeds, Dexter, Medium, The Closer, Earl, Scrubs, Monk, Old Christine, Ugly Betty.

Monk better not win anything, at least not at the expense of The Office, that’s all I’m saying.

I watch Dexter and I must say Michael C. Hall is amazing as him. Such a great show (lot’s of blood though )

Kiefer Sutherland has already won his share of awards — let Dexter get some recognition!

But I do think 24 should win something.

As for movies, which you didn’t mention, I hope Sacha Baron Cohen wins every comedy category.

I’m conflicted. The Golden Globe awards is going to be on at the same time as 24! I suppose i’ll just dvr the Golden Globes b/c as of right now 24 takes priority.

I’m totally conflicted (again) b/c i absolutely LOVE Laurie and i LOVE Sutherland. They’re both so awesome! So if either one of them wins this, i will be so happy! Something tells me Laurie is going to take this one, but i’ll be happy if Sutherland does, too.

wow!! you’ve got some crazy pics! first of all, no love for 24? i think it’s safe to say they’re the favorites coming off of two huge emmy wins. if grey’s wins for best drama, i might have to impale myself in the head with my remote.

i do agree with office though! and i’d like to see edie falco win for soaps cause she’s awesome. it’s just astounding to me that mr. gandolfini didn’t get nominated and bill paxton did. big love is atrocious.

and what’s with ER not getting a single nom? i’m confused.
