That’s pretty amazing, my neighbor was in an accident too with an SUV. Luckily it was just a side impact and his motorcycle skid as did he. It’s neat to see people achieve amazing feats like still dancing after such trajedies.

i thought that lacey was the perfect mix of heidi and benji. she talked a lot like heidi and i think her face was literally the perfect combo of those 2 i love her already (especially since that means heidi and benji will be in the audience a lot!)

I only got to tune in for the last 40 minutes or so, but I turned on the TV right when the boneless wonder was on and my jaw just dropped right to the floor. He looks as if he’s literally made of elastic. I was just as blown away by him as the judges, but I’m wondering the same thing as you, GMMR; will he be able to handle the other genres, or is this the only dance style he can handle?

I have to say that I was most impressed with that girl from Grand Rapids, MI. I think her name was Yezzi. Her confidence and energy were just exhuberant and I’m happy to see that the judges looked beyond her body type and saw that she has real talent. Not every great dancer is built like a swizzle stick.

That girl outshined all the other skinny people in the choreography group and she deserved to move on to Vegas. She has a great attitude and an amazing presence and I really identified with her.

I have been dancing as a hobby for over 10 years, it’s gotten me through some really tough times in my life and I don’t exactly have what you would call a “dancer’s body”; but that has never stopped me and, not to sound conceited or anything, but I’m told by others in my classes that they enjoy watching me or following me when they need help with the steps. I guess if I had to be addicted to something, dancing is probably the healthiest and best choice. I just really love it, it’s something I do just for myself.

I also loved that Swing/Charlston couple. They were amazing.

I loved Benji proclaiming “I’m still America’s favorite dancer for a few more months!” I wavered between voting for Benji or Travis in the finals, but I’m glad I went with Benji. We need people with that kind of energy and ability to poke fun at themselves. I hope Lacey can show she’s versatile, too. It’s got to bite following in big brother and Cousin Heidi’s footsteps.

As to the guy with no bones, I’m thinking he’ll amke it to the Top 20. S2 had a popper — Ashlee — and she lasted a few rounds of the competition. I was really glad to see Hok. His story last year made me cry. Seeing his face when he showed Nigel the Visa — classic!

What about the hip hop girl Shane Sparks loved? I wasn’t impressed with her style, but loved her enthusiasm and I’m so glad she’s going to Vegas.

kilwiggle7, I agree about Lacey (and I too was thinking the whole time how much she looks like Heidi). I think she was good…not sure because I was watching Benji. I was too busy crushing on Ivan last season to realize how adorable Benji is. It was great to see him again last night. But I was a little disappointed they didn’t ask him what he’s been up to…or did they and I blanked out?

that pop and lock dude was crazy- the little snake thing he did grossed me out, but it was pretty freakin fantastic. i think i said it before, but i really can’t wait til the audition part is over. i think it is fun to watch some of these horrid people dance, but if i hear another horrible dancer say that they are an instructor, i’m going to scream. they remind me of my nieces former dance studio- the women running it couldn’t dance themselves, how are they supposed to teach?

Hok is great, and I really can’t wait to see how far Lacey goes. Unfortunately, I’m not sure she’ll win- when I see her and Benji dance, I’m always tuned in more to what he is doing. Hopefully, she’ll outshine her future partners.

I totally thought Benji’s sister looked like Heidi. And their dance, while not really sexy, was still really creepy. Even more so that they are bro and sis, and not cousins like last season. I’m wondering about the chick with one arm…will she be able to do partner stuff? I am happy Hok is back, he was great and the guy with no bones was cool, too. Don’t forget there is another ep on tonight at 9.
