EMERGENCY! GREY'S Fans Needed STAT | Give Me My Remote

September 29, 2007 by

I’m finally catching up on all the shows I missed while I was in Cali.  So I’m watching GREY’S ANATOMY and kind of loving it…it’s nearing the end, Izzie hears a knock on the door, she turns on the light to see it’s George and the “Do you want to delete this recording?”  WTF?!  No but I do want to kick someone’s ass over at ABC for letting the show run long.  Do they not know the limitations of digital video recorders?  I’m all firey right about now.

Help a girl out!!  Someone PLEASE tell me what happened at the end?!

I record the show after all of “my shows” for just that reason. When George came to the door, he told Izzie he loves her. Awww! The end.

    First: CALM DOWN!

Second: Izzie opens the door. George says “I love you too.” Izzie stares, end episode.

You know, you can see it for yourself at ABC.com. The video quality they have is really good.

Yeah, i could watch it on ABC.com but I’m a little angry with them right now. I suppose I can suck it up. My anger with them won’t last long…not with the kick ass shows they have this season.

Thanks to you all for the fill in. I’d like to say I’m happy but I’m not so sure. I didn’t have Gizzie as much as others, but I have no idea what I want to happen here.

Same thing happened to me!! I was like “GAH! What happened?!” I’m also having problems with recording “Smallville” and “Ugly Betty” at the same time because it won’t let me change the channel to see “The Office” until exactly 9:00PM and i don’t want to miss the end of either of those either! Oh, television dilemma’s..

I see everyone was able to update you =-) From that it seems that you didn’t tape Big Shots… (I think it would have been on the beginning part of that) =-)

Thanks guys, the same thing happened to me! I was screaming at the TV when catching up last night (Thursday has way too much going on.) I think I am the only fan out here that likes George and Izzie, although not the fact that he’s married now. I am late to watching GA and when I first started watching it I thought that they were a couple already. My friends straightened me out. It’s their chemistry, they seem like a couple plus I’m a sucker for best friends falling in love.

Last season I didn’t record anything while recording The Office, Kristi, as I didn’t want to run into any snags – my DVR was new to me. But, if you make sure you are tuned into your NBC affiliate before things start to record, it will keep you there.

Same thing happened to me, but in retrospect, I’m glad. If I had seem that BS “I love you too” I probably would have thrown something at my new tv. That plotline is, to me, the most loathsome story on tv. I’m seriously considering dumping Grey’s from my schedule just because I can’t stand that contrived relationship anymore. It’s a shame, Izzie was awesome, and they turned her into a whiny, obnoxious wench (who’s madly in love so soon after her fiance croaked).

Hey Dawn 🙂 Good to hear from you, hon!!!
I have a feeling that we won’t have to deal with George & Izzie for that long.

That’s exactly the reason why I don’t want to get a DVR. All I ever hear are stories from scorned users whose DVR cut off the last few seconds (or minutes).
