Viva Laughlin Canceled

The first scripted casualty of the new season happened earlier today when CBS gave VIVA LAUGHIN the boot after only two episodes.  I wouldn’t be alone is saying that I saw this one coming a mile away.  What confused me was how it got picked up as a series in the first place.  A group of jaded TV execs really thought this was going to work?  Come on now.  I can’t imagine how bad the other Fall pilots must have been for this one to get made.

No Viva Laughlin.

You know what this means, right? Reverend Boyfriend is free to cut his little “mission” short and come back to Brothers & Sisters!

    YAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

They really shouldn’t have attempted to copy the BBC miniseries Blackpool. Aren’t there any original scripts out there anymore? CBS needs to take a page out of ABC’s book and start producing quality shows like Pushing Daisies.

I really wanted to like this show…mostly because of Hugh Jackman, but I couldn’t even get through 10 minutes. The good news is it frees up more space on my DVR and in my life. :)

I really liked the show! I thought it was different and hey it was better than another reality show.
