I didn’t care for it at all. It just tried too hard to be “madcap”.

And sorry Rashida, but I just had the impression that Karen had upped and moved to Boston. Or maybe Karen Is Rashida?

Definitely not the best show. I liked it better than I thought I would, and I have to say that I thought your take on it was accurate. I see the potential in the show. I don’t think it will get enough episodes though.

I watched the pilot (free download on ITunes) and I have to say, I thought it was AWFUL. I was hoping for Rashida’s sake it was going to be at least decent, but it was really difficult to watch. I think one of the big problems is that it is in such stark contrast to all of the “smart” comedies that are out today. Hopefully it will get better, but I’m not going to be tuning in to find out.

I’ve read a couple of reviews of the first two episodes and none of the reviews were good. Sorry, Shida. I hope the show does do well though so we can limit Karen’s appearances. Although, I must say, the thought of her making a few return appearances doesn’t bother me as much as it used to. I still rather not have her back, though.
