Loved Carly and Brooke.
Absolutely hated Amanda and Kristy (I can’t stand her stance – it is so manly)
Everyone else just did OK.
It was the boys week, imho.

Please stop rubbing it in that you got to spend time w/Jakester Kath!!! ; ) I thought Carly was just ok…I mean to me, that song is Celine, and she’s good, but no Celine. I have to say that I think my fave was Brooke taking on Pat Benetar. As the judges would say, I liked the “arrangement”, etc. Did not like Amanda at all and was surprised to hear Simon say it was his favorite of the night. I think that Kady and Kristy Lee will go home tonight for the girls.

GMMR, I also have Scott Savol’s version on my ipod and I do listen to it from time to time. I thought that was his best performance. He was the underedog that year and that is typically who I vote for (Elliott Yamin or Phil Stacey anyone??), so I loved him. Don’t feel bad — you are not alone!!!

Y’know what? I completely agree with your entire entry here. My two female favorites have been Carly and Brooke. It’ll be interesting to see who goes home tonight. However, after seeing Chris Daughtry and Melinda Doolittle go home early, I don’t get my hopes up anymore regarding my favorite contestants.

I agree with almost everything. We really like Carly and like the Judges, wish Kady would do something fun. I think her opera background is really hurting her. I love Brookes spirit, but once again, Simon is right, she turns everything into a soap commercial. I am a huge Journey fan, and Faithfully is my wifes favorite song, it is one of the first songs we ever danced to. I loved Kristy’s version, my wife, not so much. I guess I like country a little more then you guys. I think she has more of a country voice than Carrie Underwood. Kristy has struggled at times. I don’t think Syesha was as good as most people, and I dissagree, Whitney was a great singer, but I don’t second rate Whitney is that difficult to attain. Asia’h and Syesha were both second rate Whitney last night.
