The epsiode was slower than what we have been getting, but I didn't mind it. I still had several moments that I enjoyed, like Sawyer and Hurley watching Ben walk into the house. Even if the episode was not as action packed, the acting was still amazing.
My favorite thing from the episode was when ben was talking to Locke and he mentioned Gainesville, Florida. I had to rewind to make sure I heard him correctly. I was like, "That's where I live!" Now I just wonder what made Darlton put Gainesville in there of all places.

Alright, so I wasn't wild about last nights episode. Juliet's character has never really captured my attention. I did love Ben though, he's becoming my favorite character very quickly.

There's an interesting parallel between the island and Shakespeare's play The Tempest. It's probably nothing important, but it's interesting nonetheless. The story is about a man named Prospero and his daughter Miranda. Prospero was the King of Naples but his brother Antonio waned the throne for himself, so he plotted to send Prospero and Miranda out to sea in the hopes that they would die. Instead, they landed on an island with magical properties. Prospero learns to control the spirits and powers of the island and uses them for his own benefit. Many years later a ship transporting the royal family of Naples, including his brother Antonio, sails through the area. Prospero learns of this and sends a storm which brings the ship to the island. The passengers are split up into a few groups, each of which believes the others are dead. Using the spirits on the island, Prospero brings to light the deeds and true characters of some of the royals. During this time, a half-human half-monster named Caliban, who has been living on the island all his life finds himself discontent. Prospero treats him like a slave and doesn't value him at all. Caliban decides to try to overthrow Prospero, but ultimately fails. Prospero soon brings the royal party back together and promises to give up his magic if he is allowed to return to Naples and regain his title. Everyone agrees and all is forgiven. Overall, very interesting to compare to Lost.

I liked last night's ep, but I kind of felt like I was watching a soap opera. And when did Juliet get to be such a bada$$? Storming into the bunker with a gun and all . . . what the ?!?
I'm looking forward to next week. Part of me still hopes that the 'man on the boat' won't be who we all think it will be, because I think it's so obvious. But I guess I can still like the show even if I'm not surprised. Maybe he could show up and then someone can shoot him or something . . .

Last night was pretty disappointing for me, and I feel like the preview for next week is HIGHLY underestimating the intelligence of Lost fans.

Next week BETTER be better!

go to find815.com
its like an interactive scaveger hunt for a flight attendant who was on flight 815.
it goes into detail about how the airlines doesn't want to look for flight 815.
its like, weird.
I don't know how to explain it, but I'm addicted to the site.

Normally, romantic tv storylines are my favorite, but I'm beginning to wish Lost wouldn't do them. Because Jack DID tell Kate he loved her about two days ago, and then she ran off to Sawyer, and Ben's in love with Juliet, and now Juliet and Jack are making out? I'm having trouble keeping track!

I should know better than to believe previews, but I keep hoping the face we never expected to see really IS a face we never expected to see and not you-know-who.

I enjoyed the episode but only for the acting by Michael Emerson and Elizabeth Mitchell which was excellent and the humor that I found in the episode. There were several moments that made me laugh out loud like when Juliet told Jack that she was seeing a counselor because it was difficult being an Other on the island and when Sawyer and Hurley reacted to Ben walking around free.

I think the fact that Jack just told Kate he loves her is why that kiss was so God-awful. It was just a meshing of mouths together. It seemed almost like he felt obligated to kiss her. It was contrived nonetheless. Last night was boring.

Las nights episode was pointless, just like Juliet herself. WHY would I give a crap who she’s sleeping with?! I DON’T CARE! We were on a good streak here but I guess we have to make up for the awesomeness of last week with this. There was nothing revealed in this episode - and next week; I’ll NEVER guess whose coming back?! Seriously? His name has been in the credits since the beginning of the season - I’m pretty sure I can guess. Don’t underestimate me, LOST!
