I don’t see how this could be good. At least not while she seems to be battling some major issues and is constant tabloid fodder. I think it could cheapen the show and turn it into something it’s not. Just get bad vibes from this information.

Although it makes me cringe.. I think it could bring in some viewers to the show like the person said above. Like it or not people like to see Britney fail (or succeed) so it can’t be too bad of a thing. Maybe Barney’s charm and wit will keep the new viewers tuning in after that!

Uggh. The idea made me gag. Ew.

BUT Michelle makes a good point, and since it hasn’t yet been picked up for another season (have we heard anything since the initial list), maybe we need it.

And I did wince when K-Fed was announced to be on One Tree Hill. That wasn’t too painful, and I barely even noticed him. I guess we’ll see…

As we know, HIMYM is a “bubble show”. I have to say, I’m all for anything that will get the show some attention. If Britney gets the show attention, and in turn viewers, then it’s win-win. If Britney sucks, I’m sure the show will find a way to make it work in their favor.

I hate Britney. I am really disappointed that she’s gonna be on one of my favorite shows. I really hope she is NOT a recurring character.

Okay. Half of me is horrified. Run, Ted. Run.
But the other half is arguing that this could be a good thing for her. Remember she’s one of those Mouseketeers…so as a kid she was doing sketch comedy. Fast forward to some decent SNL hosting…
as long as she doesn’t bring her British accent with her…
