I think it definitely says they do share the apartment in the future. In what capacity? Who knows...but due to her being referred to as "Aunt Robin" to the kids, it leaves little possibility that she's the mother. Overall...fantastic episode! I loved the X Box line as well, but the one that really got me was "I have six self-cleaning litter boxes at home...and I don't even have a kid". Hysterical!!!! I think it definitely says they do share the apartment in the future. In what capacity? It was dramatic enough to get me excited, but had enough funny lines and situations to remain completely true to itself.
