My wife and I have never watched Idol, EVER, until this year; and it’s all because of David Cook. I thought he was a geek at first, but when he did “Hello,” we were hooked. We, and our friends, all voted for David Cook and I hope he wins. He is so darn talented. DA reminds me of something I used to see on Lawrence Welk, at my grandparents house, when I was a kid.

I voted for Archuleta only because if David Cook actually does win, he’ll have to record one of the super cheesy, Idol approved pop numbers and a man as talented as David Cook shouldn’t have to put up with that.

David Cook is simply the more interesting & talented contestant to watch. That is why he should win.
