David Archuleta’s Risky Business ‘Guitar Hero’ Commercial

While I really enjoyed the David Cook commercial for ‘Guitar Hero’, I must say that I was a little disturbed by the David Archuleta version. But I’m sure a lot of creepy men who hang out online and will eventually meet Chris Hanson later in life will love it.
By popular demand, here’s David Archuleta’s Risky Business ‘Guitar Hero’ commercial.
(Speaking of Guitar Hero. If someone can tell me how I can possibly beat Lou in the medium level final battle of Guitar Hero III, I would greatly appreciate it.)

How to beat Lou, try a slower speed or get three Battle powers, then hit him with all of them in a hard spot and you should win. If you can’t beat Low you will never beat (Killtag)

I don’t understand why people are making a big fuss over this. Yes he is a 17 year old young male but it’s not like he’s naked!! He has boxer SHORTS on! A young man trying to make it somewhere. I think Archie is a cutie pie!!!
This version just sucked.
I’m a big Cook fan myself – so happy he won! – but in the movie Risky Business, Tom Cruise’s character was supposed to be about 17, a senior in high school. So Archie was closer to the original, but I’m glad he wore boxers – and I’m glad Cook didn’t.
WAIT- You’re saying Archuleta wore boxers, but Cook didn’t.. But then.. What was Cook wearing?! D8
Agree with Laurie, this is more comfortable to me than Cook’s version as this is closer to the original. Having a 17 year old son myself….this is very typical …go Archie!
Archie is 6 months away from being 18. Also is is good to see him come out of his shell a bit.

i laughed so hard when i saw this. not creepy at all, just really funny!!! did you watch at the very end in the window it shows him “doing a flip”… lol, hilarious!
i think the creeps are the adults that are dissing this 17 year old boy. Grow up.
that was amazing.me and my friend rewinded it like 50x and watched it and didnt watch part of the finale(she had dvr)

David Archuleta is a living doll! quit acting like it is creepy. It was done in good taste and it shows his fun side. Like it was mentioned before, he is almost 18 years old. I laughed so hard I cried over these videos….i think they are the funniest commercials I have ever seen. They were perfect for the finale night. I think the creeps are the ones who make negative remarks about guys like this who work so hard and are making it at such a young age! The competition is over and this is for fun….this wasn’t about trying to see who looks the best in their underware for heavens sake !!! And they were NOT naked. Please, find something worth complaining about to waste your time on. Best of luck to both the Davids, you are great talents. I hope you both keep your thick skin and are able to ignore people who try to take your fun away. You only get one chance to live so LIVE IT UP!!!! I am anxiously awaiting your first cd and can’t wait to see you in concert.

Now this is just SAD. I think that when Guitar Hero put Archuleta in this commercial, they were making fun of him. From AI, you can CLEARLY see that Archuleta isn’t a rocker. In fact, you can see that he isn’t very HERE AND NOW. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE his voice, it’s just that I can’t really see Archuleta flailing about on stage like Cook. I don’t see how Guitar Hero can, either.
David C’s version was more creepy than this! David A looks cute and at least is wearing boxers! I don’t know why David c couldn’t.

I truly can’t understand why negative comments are being made about the David’s “Risky Business” guitar performances. For heaven’s sakes, it was done in good taste and for fun!!! Thevideos only sparked my memories of past fun-loving antics of my son and his friends – both boys and girls – when they were teenagers! I’ve enjoyed watching the videos simply because of the happiness on both David’s faces and for the memories they bring back to me of my son and happy times during his teenage years. Give the David’s a break and let them enjoy a happy moment at the end of a long season!!!
First of all David cook was too old for this freakin commercial. In the movie Risky Business the character Tom played was a TEENAGER Not an old near 30 year old guy. So David Archuleta was perfect for the commercial anyway. He was adorable. Cook is the one that was scary looking doing that commercial He was tooooo olllllllllllddd. Thank You.
