and of course they raise their hands because its their coworker and Michael is like

Not a hilarious or an especially touching moment, but an exciting one for me since it put to rest any doubts about if they were together or not. It got me excited about the reality of a season in which they were finally together.

Runner up: Kelly telling Ryan she was pregnant and then the immediate cut to the talking head where she mouths, “no.” Great writing, great edit, great delivery!

In “Goodbye Toby,” when Holly Flax thought that Kevin was retarded. Perhaps the one moment that made it for me (and there were a lot) was when she said it was a big day for Kevin to be driving a car to the market.

Also, in the season finale, i loved it when Michael was so shocked that Jan “cheated” on him when he specifically asked her not to. Haha, hilarious!

AMAZING… I laugh everytime.

I was slightly concerned that she didn’t want Jim to propose right up until that second.

Now I know she DOES. And now all is right in the universe.

I would have to say that my favorite moment is from Launch Party when phyllis walks up to angela with the post-its on her fingers and says “it’s unreasonable for you to ask me to do all of this, you may pick one” angela says something like if you do it as fast as normal you should be fine (which is almost a compliment coming from her) and then phyllis gets pissed balls up the post-its and throws the ball at angela’s face.

The look on angela’s face… priceless. I laughed so hard.

kelly talking about ryan and how she would like to go to prison to show off so the other inmates would think she was hot and ryan would be like, why did i leave her.

when michael tries to run away and jumps onto a train and then it stops.

when the new HR treats Kevin like hes “special”. that was hilarious especially when she sees him getting into his car and ask if he knows how to drive and get places and then she tells him that shes proud of him and kevin thinks she is hitting on him.

Really, though, any scene at all with Dwight qualifies to be a favorite.

I had a similar experience – I was amused by the show, but I didn’t laugh aloud. Until The Office Olympics. When Pam made the doves I began crying as I laughed hysterically, and from that point on I was hooked.

Most recently such scenes as Andy serenading Angela, and the awkwardness of The Dinner Party have left me literally tapping my boyfriend on the couch as we’re both cracking up. If anything I think the show has gotten better and I’m completely addicted to it.

Phyllis, to Pam when she’s wearing her backup glasses:

“I’m already married. Boys don’t make passes at girls who wear glasses.”

Loved it!

“Let’s see, you have 25 cents, 50 cents… this is a button.”

Also, the pictures Angela showed of “good times” with Spinkles. It’s ghastly enough to dress up a cat, but notice how the cat itself looks a little less fluffy in each one. Yikes.

But I think I’m going to have to be a girl here, and go with “Fun Run”, when the camera crew confronted JAM about their relationship, and the two finally, giddily admitted to it. After three years of agonizingly waiting for them to get together and be happy… Man, that sure was a satisfying moment. Actually, Jim and Pam’s relationship for all of Season 4 was really satisfying to me, because even though they had disagreements sometimes, they were still really happy with each other. Bravo to the writers for not taking the cliche route and breaking them up. Because in real life, couples actually CAN be happy.

“Mr. Scott, who is this other woman.. Ryan.. who you refer to as ‘Just as hot as Jan but in a different way?’ ”
“Not a woman, just a cool, great-looking best friend”
“Arn’t we trying to determine whether Michael and Jan were engaged in a romantic affair? Not Michael and this Ryan person.”
(Toby breaks out laughing)

but for sake of the contest – i’ll choose the scene in the candle room. that whole thing is priceless. the face jan makes to calm down when michael is talking… the face jim makes upon smelling the candle room… the aside breath he takes… alllllllllllllll good!

“I’m totally going to bang Holly.” Kevin

Jim letting Andy know that he actually is mocking Andy after Andy tells Dwight that he can’t tell. “Launch Party”
Andy: And this is where I will record your sales.
Dwight: Hmm. Very nice. Very nice.
Andy: And then I will say something positive, like kudos or job well done.
Jim: Or zipadeedoodaah.
Andy: I can’t tell if he’s mocking me.
Dwight: Just ignore him.
Andy: Ehh, can’t do that. Really hard for me to let things go.
Jim: I was… mocking.
Andy: Thank you.
Dwight: I just feel like we need something more to acknowledge when I make a sale.
Andy: Yes like a chime or a bell…
Jim: Or a gong. (Andy looks at Jim, Jim nods to let him know that he was mocking again.)
Dwight: Go to my car. Open the trunk. Inside you will see many pelts. Under the smallest one is a case. Inside that case is a bear horn. Bring it to me.
Andy: Yes!

(Runner’s up, while I’m here: all of the JAM moments–THEY’RE FINALLY TOGETHER!–and the comedic skill and artistic greatness that was “Goodbye Toby”.)

Michael: Darryl, what are you doing?
Darryl: I’m giving him a peanut.
Michael: No, don’t give him- just, did you hear anything I said?
Darryl: Look how happy he is!
Michael: He’s happy because he’s insane. You know what? That’s the perfect example of the kind of awareness we need to generate.
