BIG BROTHER Finale Set!

BIG BROTHER FINALE SET

With last night’s final HOH competition and final eviction of the 10th season of BIG BROTHER, we now know that Dan and Memphis will be facing off against each other in next week’s finale.

The Renegade alliance, which has been strong since week 4, carried out their final duties last night.  The 3-part HOH competition was dominated by Dan and Memphis.  As planned, Dan took the first challenge, an endurance competition, with ease leaving Memphis and Jerry to compete for Part II.  The second HOH competition relied on the houseguests knowledge of the eviction order.  Memphis was worried that he was a bit too slow to take the win, but when the times were revealed it was Memphis who was indeed the victor completing the game is just over 8 minutes, while it took Jerry over 51 minutes.  Wow! So in the final part of the most important HOH competition of the game, Dan and Memphis went head to head in the now traditional “jury quote” game.  Dan came out on top and automatically advanced to the BIG BROTHER finals, guaranteeing that he would leave the house with at least $50,000.

As the HOH, it was Dan’s vote that decided the final eviction of the game and ultimately the man standing next to him in the finals.  And what came as no surprise, Dan sent Jerry packing and soon after celebrated with Memphis.

So next week the jury has to choose either Dan or Memphis as winner of BIG BROTHER 10 and the recipient of the $500,000 prize.

I think the right two people are in the finale.  Dan was by far the best player in the house.  He had a vision of how he was going to play the game, and played it perfectly.  He took big risks when he needed to but also understood the value to disappearing into the background when he thought it was necessary.  By far his biggest mistake in the game came by making and breaking his deal with Ollie.  But at the same time, the ballsy move resulted in the eviction of two of his biggest rivals in the house. So it could be perceived as smart, of not lucky, game play.

Memphis on the other hand stayed relatively clear of any personal issues in the house.  He played the game completely under the radar without being a floater.  He was part of strategic moves and managed to get others to do his dirty work for him, walking away without any blood on his hands.  His only rivalry in the house was with Jerry, but some fancy footwork at the end of the game had Memphis sitting pretty with Jerry thinking the were in an alliance together. Of course there was some ill will with Keesha after he evicted her, but I’m not sure how much Keesha’s opinion is going to influence a jury house as most of the people there aren’t fans of her.

So this week the jury will get their chance to ask questions of Memphis and Dan. And after that it comes down to the live vote.  In years past the jury has for the most part voted for the strongest, most strategic played in the game to win.  But payback’s a bitch, so it’s really anyone’s game to win or lose.

And don’t forget that you can go to CBS.com and vote for your favorite player to win the $25,000 fan favorite prize.  I’d fall off my chair if this money didn’t go to Jerry, but personally I’d like to see Renny win it…I like that sassy lady!

Are you happy with Dan and Memphis being in the finals?  Who do you want to see win BIG BROTHER 10?

I don’t see how anyone could vote for Memphis when Dan had a plan all along. Sure, Memphis was part of the plan but it was Dan the Man all the way. He played a near perfect game. I hate people that make it to the end by “flying under the radar”. It means they didn’t do anythign with the 60+ days they were in the house.

Reminds me a lot of Danielle vs. Lisa finale. I get the feeling that the result is going to be the same. I think this season people have taken things personally more than any other season. As a result I think Memphis will win even though Dan played the best game of anyone. One of the best players in BB history.

I am SO happy Dan is in the finals – I’m not sure I would have been able to watch if he wasn’t. AND I think it was so smart of Dan to keep Memphis for the final two…shows he was true to his one alliance. Dan should absolutely win – played an amazing game, strategically, physically and emotionally (manipulating some players).

I will really be disappointed if Memphis wins, and I think if he wins it’s just hard feelings by the jury. I hope Dan will be able to really share with the jury how he has played the entire time…I hope he’s honest and articulate and then he should WIN!

I think Dan will take this and it should be by a pretty wide margin. All I can say is, thank God Jerry didn’t make F2! Vote Keesha or Renny for the America’s Choice.

These two were my favorites since they first decided to form their own alliance. They managed to stay (mostly) clear of all the drama and personal issues that were the downfall of the evictees.

Dan has definitely played the best game of anyone, so he really should be rewarded for that. But as everyone else has said, this season’s cast seems to take everything personally – did they not get the memo that this is a game?

Dan was a good player in this game and should be awarded the money for that. On the other hand I was looking at cbs.com and read about Dan and his ultra-conservative ways. Now everyone has a right to their own opinion, but Dan said quoting here from cbs.com, “He is conservative and not a fan of liberals. He doesn’t think that America would have been ready for a female president and if Hillary Clinton had won the presidency, he would have moved out of the country.” His opinion but still if he doesn’t win I might not be as annoyed. 😉 Just my opinion and yes I think best game play is what the judges should vote for.

Memphis is great but Dan has played such an amazing game and deserves to win, no doubt about it.
