MY BOYS Renewed for Third Season

File this under ‘Good news for a Tuesday morning’! According to a press release just received, one of my personal faves – MY BOYS – has just been renewed for a third season!! So expect a lot more antics and romantic entanglements from PJ, Stephanie and the boys.
So MY BOYS fans, are you excited for this news? And what do you think is in store for the new season? Ok, really what I’m asking is PJ & Bobby vs. PJ & Brendan – discuss.

When does Season 2 come out on DVD? I need to catch up!
I’m extra super pumped about it this year, though, since I moved to the Chicago area! We watched Season 1 just before the move to get excited for Chicago and it totally worked.

Great news – I’m so glad they won’t just leave last season’s ending hanging without an answer. I’m definitely PJ-Bobby rather than PJ – Brendan – I think PJ and Brendan are better as just friends while PJ and Bobby seem to be more of a better fit romantically. I hope also there’s something more to the Kenny and Stephanie storyline as well – that’s been brewing for quite some time now and I hope it’s not just forgotten about.
And SB – welcome to Chicago!!! 🙂
Yes!! I’m sooo excited. I knew TBS couldn’t resist this show. It is such a fun show to watch. Squeee!

I was devestated last year when TBS disappeared from Canadian cable listings, but the E (canada) has been airing the show and im hooked again.
I adore Bobby and think him and PJ would be awesome but my love will allways lie with Brendan!!
SB – yes, lifelong Chicagoan! Best city in the world (in my “humble” opinion)! I love that My Boys takes place in Chicago and that PJ writes about the Cubs (my poor Cubs!).
I am so happy that My Boys is back….so long as the writers resolve the stupid story line with Bobby’s brother and knock some sense into normally reasonable PJ ASAP.
And I’ve always thought PJ and Brendan had way more chemistry….
Oh….and I have to second mg’s opinion being the greatest city in the world 🙂
Wow, who knew there were so many Chicagoans/Chicago lovers out there? Although I actually live in the area that, as Bobby once said, “puts the ‘land’ in ‘Chicagoland'”.
I haven’t seen S2 yet, so I guess I don’t have all the info, but I’ve always been a PJ & Brendo fan also. Ditto on the chemistry, Lauren.

Oh, it’s totally PJ&Bobby. Though, I’m still pulling for PJ & Mike. I know, but come on! It would be awesome.
As long as they write more Jim Gaffigan (sp?). He’s the BEST part of the show!
Haven’t been the biggest fan of the writing. Seems too much like a bunch of one-liners in different settings as opposed to an actual storyline going on. Let’s try PJ and this guy, let’s try PJ and that guy…..it’s just OK because I don’t really care too much about any of the relationships. But I totally peg that on the writing because I do enjoy all of the cast. Even Stephanie, who is completely an unreal character. One day she writes a book and in 2 weeks she’s a famous author. Riiiiiight. No book tour, huh? No need to get your name out there because everyone just knows to buy this wonderful book that was finished faster than instant oatmeal?
I’m glad that it’s renewed because there is so much potential. Just like the first season of Psych wasn’t all that great and it has improved exponentially each season.
Okay!! Yeah!!!! I heart my boys, it is the only show that i am completely glued to. Thank goodness it is coming back. It is all about Pj and Bobby. They are perfect together and bobby realizes that. I hope that Pj realizes that too, or that Bobby overlooks the brother thing. Damn I don’t like Pj and Bobby’s brother. Jack is much too selfish. Okay and Pj and Brendo…no. It wouldn’t work and they addressed that. They are too good of friends to be together.
