oh my freaking god that was so funny! it makes me love joe even meore(if that is humanly possible) and also makes me lose some of my obseen obbsession over adam lambert off of american idol. now i would not say i am an overly obbsessed crazy fan of the jonas brothers (as though to stay in line for 3 days to see a jonas concert) but other than that i would call myself a pretty big fan. the thing where alec said that joes eyebrows were drawn in with sharpie was clever. i still love joe anyway! so sexy. lol. my favorite song off that 80s sketch was struck by lightning. haha ttyl.

OK, I know I’m late to this party, but as soon as I saw that set I thought of the Christopher Walken cowbell sketch. I probably shouldn’t compare the two but there is obviously a big difference in the funny between then and now…meaning there is not much now. And Alec Baldwin’s 30 ROCK plug made me cringe. 30 ROCK is so much better than a lame plug placed in the middle of a lame Jonas Brother sketch.

Not a huge fan of the Jo Bros (though I will admit to having one or two of their songs on my itunes rotation), but they’re earning their cred as real musicians and not just a teen pop novelty act and for that I respect them. I thought they definitely stole the show in the skits they were in.

SNL was great last night….loved the opening skit, the Jonas brother early eighties videos were …..ummm….nostalgic and Alec Baldwin playing with his “wii” made me LOL! BTW Kath, Emma appreciate your kindness toward the Jonas Bros.!

I too, was pleasantly surprised at how funny the Jonai were. Especially considering the last 20 minutes of the show sucked. Two commercial re runs? Really? All the other sketches they wrote sucked so hard they had to put in two rerun segments? And Seth Meyers really needs a weekend update co-anchor.

I am really not a fan of the Jonas Brothers (maybe because of their hype and obsessive tween fans), but I do have to admit that those videos were amazing. I’m actually kinda sorry now that I didn’t catch the episode… Looks like it was really funny.
