susan..your one hell of a ride..love the song and you deliver it perfectly..you know i hate when the audience and the judges smirk at her when she is talking about her dreams and inspirations just because of her appearance..

nevertheless blown them away when she started singing..well, its a wake up call indeed, dont judge the book by its cover..high hopes for the one who have talent and knowledge, and the one who dreamed a dream..:-)

i don’t know this is what kind of music.But when they sing,it’s great.I can’t image they are very young but what thing they do great .there are a lot of people who have to thunderous applause and have to run down tears when they sing and me too.They have to courage and confident when they show it.i feel admire them.

Tears are running down my cheeks as I write this. It seems this lady has never been appreciated for who she is. This should be a wake-up call for our youth oriented society where a lady 47 years of age is over the hill, and invisible. I have news for you. This singer has decency, determination to succeed, and the voice to do it. Bravo!! You would have to search high and low amongst the usual candidates to find such qualifications.
I wish her all the success she so rightly deserves.

Susan Boyle’s voice and lyrical intention are gifts from God. I wish I knew her aspirations. 47 is not young in showbiz; and, if she wants just to record, fine. However, if she desires Broadway or West End, for example, some make-over needs to be done. This is not superficial. Our society is so visual. I would hate to have her voice quieted due to someone’s discarding her talent just because of her looks….She also has guts. She looked Simon so straight in the eyes and expressed herself guilelessly. BRAVO! I’ve been in showbiz for 30 years and would love to see someone break the mold. We’ll see…dq

We have just watched Susan Boyle sing on Britains got talent, four West Australians absolutly wrapped on her wonderful voice and waiting to hear from her again, god has given her a great gift and we should all appreciate it.

Quite a lovely thing to witness. I was brought to tears. It seemed like a happy ending in a movie. I saw it on Perez Hilton which is so snarky by nature and was prepared for a disaster. I immediately felt sorry for her, just because I thought she would get eaten alive by the audience and the judges. It was a spectacular moment. She said she had never been kissed — I expect that will change now. Susan, I loved the dress, the hair, the shoes, the VOICE, all of you. You have proven in a showstopping moment how we should not judge anyone on first appearances, nor should we ignore middle aged women and dismiss them as “invisible.” You are magic. Cheers from an American fan!

An unassuming lady with a voice to match the showstopping divas in the theatre world today, Elaine paige should be proud she has influenced Susan Boyle.

I just hope the “media machine” will treat her for what she is and not destroy her with hype.

My saturday night and sunday morning where enlightened by this lovely ladies voice and I hope she does go on to nicer things
