If NBC dumps Chuck, I dump NBC. I love heroes and the office but Chuck beats all of them. NBC is notorious for getting rid of shows too soon. Anyone remember the Black Donnelys, probably not. It was only the coolest irish mob show ever on television, which was killed off after only four episodes. If they don’t renue Chuck I sware to never watch NBC ever again. Give it a chance, its the most entertaining series I’ve seen in a long time.

NBC is always in such a hurry to dump a show that is enjoyed by many. You’ll drag in a new one and even if it is good, you won’t give it a chance. The characters have to grow on us. You can’t decide after one or two weeks that it won’t make it. I am 63 years old and I enjoy Chuck just as much as the younger viewers do. I also like Heroes. Medium is another one that is being threatened. I love that show too. You are really going to mess up Monday night. I might have to jump ship to another network after all!

Never seen Chuck, but find it odd that a show with such a HUGE dedicated fan base is not getting more attention from the execs. Unless they are purposely dragging it out in hopes that the suspense and attention will translate to ratings.
I watch Earl almost every week as it leads into the Office. It is a very clever and witty and one of my favorite shows on television right now. I am quite saddened that it hasn’t been picked up yet.

Sigh… Back at the online viewing and emailing and writing. Let’s not give up now. The feeling around the web is that they are going to order 13 episodes and use Chuck as a mid-season replacement for one of their ‘fabulous’ new shows that tank. If that is so, we’ll be going through this whole scenario again next year.

However, 13 episodes of Chuck is better than none at all. Maybe if we keep the pressure on we can earn 22 episodes just through persistence! One interesting comment is that it would slide into the Sunday slot after football is over. The wait looks to be long, but we’ll be armed and know how to make our voices heard!

All of this is unconfirmed, by the way….

Dangit for no news about Chuck. I’m going to remain positive, though, and know in my heart that it will be returning. Nice to hear about 30 Rock and SVU as well – didn’t know about those, but kind of figured it. The new comedies and dramas sound … eh … but I could pick up a few, if interesting.
