BREAKING…Paula Abdul Not Returning AMERICAN IDOL

It seems contract negotiations aimed at bringing Paula Abdul back as an IDOL judge have gone South. According to the latest Twitter updates from Paula herself, she will NOT be returning to IDOL.

With sadness in my heart, I’ve decided not to return to #IDOL. I’ll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all..
I’ll miss nurturing all the new talent,but most of all being a part of a show that I helped from day 1 become an international phenomenon.
What I want to say most, is how much I appreciate the undying support and enormous love that you have showered upon me
It truly has been breathtaking, especially over the past month
I do without any doubt have the BEST fans in the entire world and I love you all
Do you think she’s really gone or is she using Twitter as a negotiation tactic?
If she is gone, will you miss Paula? Kara, Randy and Simon have all signed on, so are we back to just three judges? Will people be resentful that Kara is back over Paula?

I’d take Kara over Paula any day! I may have been one of the few that liked Kara, but I thought she actually critiqued the contestants and gave good advice/feedback. She was nice but also a “judge.” Paula, on the other hand, had crazy rants (less so last season) and always loved everyone. I don’t want lovely dovey I want a professional opinion.
I liked her specifically because of the crazy rants! Maybe not the effect they were going for, but the more out of it she was, the more I laughed. :0)
don’t watch. don’t care. maybe now she can do a new season of Hey Paula

Idol could use a breath of fresh air. Last year was a trainwreck not seen since season 3. It was time for a change and Paula didn’t add much. So, she is expendable. Randy will be next and that’s okay too.
