Calling Dr. House, Dr. Shepherd…
October 15, 2009 by Kath Skerry
Hey GMMRers – A quick note from me to you. Unfortunately due to some back issues, it looks like I might have to take a mini-break over the next few days. Between the pain medication they gave me at the hospital and the instruction that sitting in the same position for more than a few minutes could cause more damage I see very little TV watching in my immediate future, and even less blogging.
I’ll do my best to continue to post the updates from Team GMMR (who rock now more than ever!), but I wanted to explain why things might be a little quiet on my end.
Sorry, it’s the Fall TV season and I think my now you know how much this bums me out.
You’re in good hands with Team GMMR though so make sure they feel the love (and by love I mean comments).
Here’s to hoping I’m back up and blogging soon.
XOXO
Kath

No worries. Just take the time you need to get better! I realize every back injury is different, but walks and yoga help my chronic pain a lot.
Kath, I ‘m so sorry you are going through this. It must be serious if you have to put off Glee and SYTYCD. Do whatever you need to do to get better. We will all be here when you get back. I don’t know what I’d do if I was in your position. No tv? I’d die.
Hummm….no sitting…can you mount a flat screen on the ceiling??
GET WELL SOON!!!
Get well soon and take care of yourself!
Kath, feel better soon – chronic pain like that is the worst, and no tv to help you forget? Terrible. We’re thinking of you!!!
The important thing is to take care of yourself.
Post as you can, but getting better is the priority.
Well I guess your health is more important than tv…I guess? Hope you feel better soon and do what the doctor tells you!!!
Hope you get well soon! My advice to you is, do what the doctors say or otherwise you will be in a world of hurt later. Trust me!
Get well soon Kath, and don’t worry about the blog!
I agree with John, and others. Back pain is so terrible and not to be messed with. Take it easy, listen to some books on cd or something and imagine laying poolside with a mojito. While you’re at it, go ahead and imagine David Boreanaz lying next to you on one side, whispering dark Angel secrets in your ear while Neil Patrick Harris rubs your feet in a perfect massage and John Krasinski makes you grilled cheese sandwiches. Enjoy those medication fantasies!
