Color me impressed. Songstress Taylor Swift did a fantastic job as SNL’s host and musical guest. That girl worked her ass off this week. She was in more sketches than Kristen Wiig. When’s the last time that happened?
Taylor started off the night on a high note (pun intended) with this hilarious monologue song that had a little fun at Taylor’s expense…and Joe Jonas (that was the ‘Joe’ she was singing about, right? I’m so not up on my celeb teen angst.)

Agreed! Hilarious show, and the songs were great (particularly the second one). Best SNL I’ve seen in a long time.
I Think she should fall in that Cateogory with Justin Timberlake and Host/ Musical Guest as Much as Possible.

I’ve gotta tell ya Taylor Swift has grown on me.
Um, isn’t the host in every sketch? That’s why Taylor was in more sketches than Kristen (as was Gerard Butler, Drew Barrymore, etc.). I feel like this is only an impressive statistic if another cast member does it, which never happens.
On another note, I thought Taylor was a great musical guest but a somewhat forgettable host. The best thing she did was her Shakira impression, and that was in the 12:55am sketch. She wasn’t horrible, but I wouldn’t watch if she hosted again.

To answer your question, no, the host isn’t in every sketch. Usually they aren’t even in half. It really depends on how good the host is.
Okay, you gotta admit that monologue song a.k.a LA-LA-LA was really adorable, wouldn’t be any better if Taylor swift is not the one who sang that song!
as for the anti-fans who say its booring… I say, “are you kidding me? You should open your eye balls a little bit and turn-on your sense of humor even once”
