I can't believe it's been two weeks. Can't. Wait. But then, I'm sad because I had no idea Modern Family was pre-empted tonight. And to a lesser extent, sad Cougar Town isn't on either. If it's not the World Series, it's the CMA Awards. Can't they have a channel devoted to "Events" and use that for whatever happens to be going on that night, like booking a conference room at your office? LIke, "Oh, we can't air the awards show on the 12th, b/c the President's already booked prime time on that day. We'll do it on the 13th instead".
