I, too, was a later joiner of the FNLs ranks. (I remember the AWESOME premiere of Season 1 and then lost the show until midway through Season 3.) I caught up on all the seasons through Netflix and now own all 3 DVD sets.

I rarely get hooked on a TV show. The last one for me was X Files. I can say, without a doubt, that FNLs is currently THE best show on television.

Kyle Chandler is giving a a helluva performance in Season 4 (as in all seasons). He and Connie Britton are magic on screen, together or apart. Give this man an Emmy!!!

And tell everyone you know to watch FNLs!!!

I’m so happy to know FNL is having a great 4th season – I don’t have DirectTV so I cannot wait for the summer! At least there will be good TV on instead of only all the reality TV shows. I started re-watching some of the season 1 episodes and also remembered how much I love this show and Kyle Chandler & Connie Britton especially. Why they never get the industry recognition (like Emmy Awards) that they deserve will never make sense but as long as the show goes on, I’ll be happy!

Just got my best friend into it. It took a lot of convincing to get her to finally try it and now she’s all caught up and anxious for the newest season to premiere (summer I believe, right?). She even wanted one of the mini footballs from the campaign to show her support. I am never parting with that mini football. Too much hard work went into that campaign! But thank you for your consistent support and praise of the show and finding new viewers. This show deserves all the accolades and hopefully someday at least one of its stars will receive a well-deserved Emmy.

I’ve been a fan of this show since season one and simply do not understand how it doesn’t get more love. It’s simply outstanding.

I’ve recently decided to rewatch it from the beginning (and I’m enjoying it just as much as the first time). How Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton haven’t received awards for their performances is beyond me!

Hey Kath,

I’ve been reading your praises of FNL for awhile and I finally started watching a couple of weeks ago. Thankfully the episodes stream on Netflix and I’m mid-season 3 and loving it.

You’re right, Connie Britton and Kyle Chandler are absolutely amazing. They are the heart of the show.

Anyway, thanks for all your posts about the show–they really were what inspired me to finally sit down and watch. (And thanks to Netflix too for making it easy!–seriously, if you have netflix you can watch all 3 season online)

I hope you give Dexter a chance soon. You won’t be disappointed–it’s absolutely fantastic and won’t take that long to catch up with.

I just finished season one yesterday and I LOVE this show! It’s just soo good. I can’t wait to catch up. Connie Britton and Kyle Chandler are the BEST!
