Here’s Hoping The Beelzebubs Rock Tonight’s THE SING OFF Finale

A cappella music might not be everyone’s bag, but I happen to love it. In tonight’s finale of THE SING OFF (8pm on NBC), the final three a capella groups compete for the title of Sing-Off champion as well as $100,000 and a Sony Music record contract. There might be three groups left, but from the start there’s only been one group for me – The Bubs!
If you haven’t seen the show, check out The Beelzebubs, representing Tufts University in Medford, MA. These fun-loving and insanely talented guys have a shot at winning it all tonight. I for one hope the hometown guys pull it off.

Ok holidays, bring it! I don’t mean to wish away the holidays, but as a TV fan I’m kind of over the reruns and Christmas specials (clearly I have no heart). I don’t want to wait a few more weeks for some of my favorite shows to come back. I’m ready now!
Most of our Monday night faves are in repeat mode, but NBC does have the finale of THE SING OFF. I know the show isn’t for everyone, and I’m not sure if I would be watching if it weren’t for my hometown boys, The Beelzebubs. Here’s to hoping The Bubs take home the big prize today. Do Medford proud, sons!
And I know we don’t normally hype episode repeats, but if you missed last year’s holiday episode of THE BIG BANG THEORY then be sure to check it out at 9:30pm tonight on CBS. It’s one of my favorite episodes ever and it definitely includes my favorite Sheldon moment of all time (and that’s saying a lot).
Peruse the channels if you want, but here are just a few highlights from tonight’s TV lineup.
The Sing-Off | 8pm on NBC
“Finale”
The final three groups find out their fates as the winning group is revealed; Natasha Bedingfield, Bobby McFerrin, Boyz II Men and Smokey Robinson each perform a capella.

“Dead Man’s Hand”
Brenda investigates the case of a female police officer who denied being a victim of spousal abuse prior to her husband being shot by a cop answering a domestic disturbance call. Mary McDonnell guest stars.
Men of a Certain Age | 10pm on TNT
“Mind’s Eye”
Joe tries to teach his son golf; Owen tries to get his sales figures up; Terry gets into his character a little too much.
