Before I start my list, I’m going to reiterate the note I made in my top 10 episodes of 2010 post: I’m behind on FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS and BREAKING BAD. And I’ve never seen MAD MEN. Before I start my list, let’s get this out of the way: I’m behind on FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS and BREAKING BAD. And I’ve never seen MAD MEN. I completely understand that they are all amazing shows and have had some phenomenal episodes this past season, but I haven’t seen them. I promise to try and catch up soon.

With that being said, television has really given us some gems this year, hasn’t it? Several shows gave us their best episodes yet, whether they were unconventional, game-changing, just starting off or ending their journeys.
