CBS Announces its 2010-2011 Schedule

May 19, 2010 by

Early this morning, CBS announced its lineup for the 2010-2011 season.  There have been a few time shifts, most notably THE BIG BANG THEORY moving to Thursdays at 8pm.  Are you kidding?  How disappointing.  What’s even more disappointing are the new barrage of crime dramas coming to CBS.  Didn’t they have enough?  15 out of the 25 shows  in CBS’ primetime lineup are now crime related. Really?

Why is it bad that BBT is moving to Thursdays? CBS is trying to compete with NBC comedy Thursday. I think it’s a good move…That show is one of my favorite comedies consistently on TV right now.

The Office, which I love, is going downhill for me right now…

@Jackie – Its mostly just annoying to have to juggle all our favorite shows.
I agree with Kath. I don’t like BBT’s move to Thursday. Thursday is already a busy night (although so is Monday). But Luckily I like BBT enough to follow it (or at least tape it).

    Jackie –
It’s not a bad move on the part of NBC, I was just being selfish. My Thursday nights are already so busy that adding another show is problematic. I have two DVRs and it’s all full capacity on Thursday nights. Just an inconvenience.

Never got into Community, though I love Joel McHale, and FlashForward is off the air, so BBT moving to Thursday is just fine with me!!

S#*! My Dad Says? Really? Is this the first time a tv show based on a twitter account is being made? http://twitter.com/shitmydadsays

They could change the title of $#*! My Dad Says, I’m not a prude. But that’s not really a prime time title. I put that in the same category as kids typing WTF or FML. Maybe im a little old fashioned.

What has happened to Accidentally on Purpose? This was a very funny show and I thought it actually had promise. CBS hasn’t said one word whether it’s been cancelled, on hiatus or if (and this is a big IF) it’s been moved to another day. It’s not on the schedule so I’m assuning it’s a goner. TOO BAD!!!!!
