A lot has changed over six seasons of MTV’s THE HILLS. I mean, just look at Heidi Montag’s face in the photo above.
Of the four original cast members, only Audrina Patridge remains, and tonight’s series finale will focus on the fallout from Kristin Cavallari‘s heartbreak, courtesy of one Mr. Brody Jenner.
Check out the clip below for a preview of that drama, which will play out at 10 p.m. on MTV.
But don’t pop your TV off at 10:30, because the network is airing “THE HILLS: HOLLYWOOD ENDING” at 11. It will feature the show’s OG leading lady, Ms. Lauren Conrad, plus THE CITY’s Whitney Port, Lo Bosworth, Audrina, KC and others as they reflect on the journey, straight from the Roosevelt Hotel in L.A., where it all began.
Yes, around the pool the Roosevelt is where that episode 1 Teen Vogue party — that Heidi snuck all her friends into — took place. I, myself, was there that night and noticed that LAGUNA BEACH’s L.C. was wired with a mic/battery pack and seemed to be shooting something. Little did I know that I was witnessing the birth of a massive pop culture phenomenon that would entertain — and annoy — for years to come…
So, be honest, you’re going to miss this bullsh-t, aren’t you?

I’m going to miss The After Show with our beloved Canadian kids, Dan & Jessi, more than The Hills itself (which I stopped watching regularily after LC left) but you so know that I will be tuning in tonight!!
What will Dan and Jessi do now?!!! Well I guess they still have The City. MTV would be stupid to let them go!
I too witnessed a certain beginning to THE HILLS. My friends and I were staying at the W in Westwood while the kids from THE HILLS were doing their very first promo shoot.
We were in the elevator and when Jason Wahle got on, my friend Katie said that he looked really familiar and asked if he was a in a boy band. HA!
Dan and Jessi gave a tearful farewell to the After Show last week (which we believe means no more “City” or “Daily” After Shows)…not sure what they’re moving on to but MTV Canada is owned by CTV (our big, non-publically owned broadcaster) so there would be lots of possiblities for work “within the family”!
well, those 7 words the FCC says you can’t say on live radio could all be used to describe the final episode of the hills. spencer & heidi….was the plastic surgery even real? were the crystals crystal or plastic? is there no truth left on this planet? oh, the mental carnage this show has wracked on some of us…..(where do we go from here, a “sex in the city” reunion show in a year or so? Justin Bobby & Brody? where do we go from here? Audrina staring blankly at the ocean, is there any other way she could stare? Isn’t she a blank canvas or….does she only appear to be one? reality or is that really her?)….Was it all just a dream of a dream of a segment of a dream interwoven into a smidgen of a dream which was originally implanted in my cortex by an old girl friend? I feel a Leo DeCaprio movie in the making here folks.
