DROP DEAD DIVA Exclusive: See SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE’s Tyce Diorio Guest Star

August 10, 2010 by

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE choreographer Tyce Diorio is moonlighting, my friends.

In his off time from our favorite competition series, the Emmy-winner stopped by Lifetime’s DROP DEAD DIVA to design one of the show’s musical dream sequences and dance in it too.

GIVE ME MY REMOTE has gotten our grubby little hands on the footage, which features the talents of Brooke Elliott, Jackson Hurst and Jaime Ray Newman as well.

Take a look…

Nice work, Tyce. We felt like your heart was in it. It was an exquisite experience for the audience and we want to celebrate where you’re at.

Hehe.

No, but we definitely like watching Diorio do his thing. We almost never get to see SYTYCD’s choreographers/judges actually performing.

Very cool.

Tyce’s episode of DROP DEAD DIVA will air August 29th on Lifetime.

Now I know why Tyce’s choreography bores me on SYTHYCD…that was mediocre at best…and shouldn’t the focus have been on Jane?

Ohmygoodness…this makes me wish (even more!) that Season 2 of Drop Dead Diva aired in Toronto!

(Tyce was ok…but there was an awful lot of him!!)

I love DDD. Jane rocks. Janie, maybe Grayson just won’t love you, but you can have love even without him. I mean you had an awesome guy in Tony (who was GORGEOUS!! – missing him)

BTW where did she get that fab dress?

Brooke has such a great singing voice. It was strange that in that sequence they focused so much on Tyce. He should just be in the background while the focus should be on the main characters (Jane/Grayson/Girlfriend). I love when they do these fantasy sing/dance routines on DDD. But the choreography was “eh”.
