She’s just won $250,000 and the coveted title of America’s favorite dancer, but she’s still the same sweet down-to-earth doll who — by the way — has been my pick since DAY. ONE.
Not to brag, but I recognized Lauren’s bright shine way back in May when her first audition aired. She just blew me away doing her wholesome stripper thing — strong, yet still sexy with full control of her body. Lo Fro is SICK, yo.
But yeah, take a look-see at what went on after the finale, as the judges and contestants talked to the press and to each other.
I was lucky enough to capture some special moments between executive producer Nigel Lythgoe as he congratulated Lauren, she thanked him and then came over to tell us what she’s going to do with her prize money, who she thought was going to win and what’s next…

Really wanted Lauren to win, but I felt kinda bad that they set up Kent to EXPECT to win. It kind of reminded me of the Brandon/Jeanine announcement. I actually was more impressed with Robert’s dancing (compared to Kent) but Kent had that “it” factor….they all had great strengths
It IS a similar situation, true. But I wanted Jeanine to win and because she did, I knew that Lauren had a kicka$$ chance of coming out on top too. Why is everyone so surprised?! SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE history repeats itself, hello!!
So happy about the LoFro win (but as you know, would have liked to seen Robert with the title too!)
i was sure that lauren will go all the way to become the champion. Her moves, crispy actions, sexy figure and the most important her cute, beautiful & sparking face were the key factors to differentiate her from other performers. Also, her down to the earth attitude has won my heart & i have become her die hard fan.wishing her a bright & prosperous future
