Tuesday night… As I’ve mentioned before, the unsung hero of solid TV evenings.

A quick rundown of what’s on tap…

No Ordinary Family | 8pm on ABC
“No Ordinary Mobster”
Jim’s secret identity is at risk when he tries to take down a dangerous mobster who has eluded George for years; Stephanie continues to look into Dr. Volson’s previous research of a mysterious plant – against Dr. King’s wishes; Daphne convinces a reluctant JJ to use his powers to help her become more knowledgeable in order to impress a boy; and JJ goes to extreme measures to help Katie get a date.

Glee | 8pm on Fox
“The Substitute”
After Mr. Schuester gets sick, a substitute teacher (Gwyneth Paltrow) takes over the Glee Club and becomes a new love interest as well as competition for Will. [GMMR: If you haven’t yet seen the little photo preview of tonight’s ep, click here!]

The Biggest Loser | 8pm on NBC
“1009”

The competition moves to singles, so contestants will compete on their own without partners or teammates from this point forward. The most recent elimination is still a big topic ofconversation, with trainer Bob Harper trying to determine why the vote went the way it did and one player still upset over the departure of a close friend. But the players all perk up with news from the trainers that they’re getting a special gift from loved ones – heartwarming videos from home that move everyone to tears. When one player doesn’t receive a video, the other contestants thoughtfully plan an uplifting surprise to try and make up for it. Then a pool challenge tests everyone’s balancing skills, and later, one player reaches a milestone at the weigh-in. Finally, one more contestant is eliminated, and heads home to an emotional reunion with loved ones.


One Tree Hill | 8pm on The CW
“Between Raising Hell and Amazing Grace”
The crew gathers at Nathan and Haley’s (Bethany Joy Galeotti) to spend Thanksgiving with friends and family. Galeotti directs the episode.

NCIS | 8pm on CBS
“Enemies Foreign”
The team has to protect Ziva’s father when he attends the NCIS conference, which has Ziva confronting her past when a couple of unexpected surprises occur.

Life Unexpected | 9pm on The CW
“Homecoming Crashed”
Baze and Emma (guest star Emma Caulfield) attempt to sign a high-profile client, Candy (guest star Krista Allen), who only has eyes for Baze. Lux goes to her homecoming dance hoping to see Eric (guest star Shaun Sipos) but the evening takes an ugly turn for the worse. Cate explores Lux’s past and is shocked at what she discovers.

NCIS: Los Angeles | 9pm on CBS
“Absolution”
When a murdered antiques dealer’s book of top-secret information goes missing, Hetty sends the NCIS team on a mission to find it.

Raising Hope | 9pm on Fox
“Blue Dots”
When Hope starts imitating the dogs at her day care, Jimmy decides to enroll her in an expensive, high-end center. But the blemish on Burt’s record needs to be expunged before Hope has any chance of getting accepted. However, when trying to turn Burt’s past around the rest of the family ends up in a bind of their own and must pull together to straighten things out with the law.

The Good Wife | 10pm on CBS
“Bad Girls”

Alicia is on the road to successfully arguing that her teenaged pop star client, Sloan (Miranda Cosgrove, “iCarly”), is innocent of a DUI, until Cary drops a bombshell that could ruin the starlet’s career and life. Meanwhile, Peter’s campaign hits a snag when the Democratic Committee tells him to drop out of the race.

Parenthood | 10pm on NBC
“Put Yourself Out There”
Sarah convinces Amber to meet with an important colleague of Gordon’s (guest star William Baldwin). Meanwhile, Kristina frantically attempts to obtain a birthday invite for troublesome Max. Camille takes a class with the man she once had an affair with, making Zeke jealous. Elsewhere, Crosby and Joel band together to direct Jabbar’s school play. Haddie’s relationship with an unexpected love interest deepens.

Detroit 1-8-7 | 10pm on ABC
“Deja Vu/All In”
Old and new Detroit collide in a case investigated by Fitch,Washingtonand Sanchez where a missing teen, Seth Cantor, seems to have been violently murdered – but there isn’t a body. The detectives begin to unravel the disturbing homicide, which leads them to Seth’shigh schoolbuddies, who are running drugs in from Canada and may have killed their friend by copying the MO of the Purple Gang, an old Detroit mob. Meanwhile, Longford and Majahan explore the world of high stakes poker when a victim, who was trying to amass winnings to pay for his daughter’s organ transplant, is found murdered and stripped of his prize money from a tournament.

Sons of Anarchy | 10pm on FOX
“Bainne”
While the club’s on a man hunt, Jax faces the toughest decision of his life.
