Tonight’s TV Spotlight…Thursday, December 2, 2010

December 2, 2010 by

I’m especially stoked for TV tonight. Maybe because I get to return to Mystic Falls. Perhaps it’s my newfound obsession with the folks at Greendale Community College. Or is it the possibility of this long, drawn out tale de Christina Yang coming to an end? Okay, it’s probably just that I get to see John Krasinski in my living room this evening.

Regardless, I’m going to be logging some serious TV hours. Bring it, Thursday television. Tonight, I’m your bitch.

Which shows are you going to watch live, DVR for later, or skip altogether?

Here are a few highlights from the lineup…

The Vampire Diaries | 8pm on The CW
“The Sacrifice”
Jeremy’s life is threatened when he tries to help Bonnie retrieve the moonstone. Meanwhile, Tyler shows Caroline the Lockwood cellar, where they make a terrifying discovery, and Bonnie and Luka form a closer bond.

Community | 8pm on NBC
“Mixology Certification”
When the study group members realize Troy is turning 21, they decide to take him to the bars; Shirley pulls down photos of her that are posted at the bar; Abed talks to a fellow sci-fi nerd.

Bones | 8pm on Fox
“The Twisted Bones in the Melted Truck”

30 Rock | 8:30pm on NBC
“Live Show”

The Office | 9pm on NBC
“China”
Michael reads about China’s growth as a global power, so he sets out to stop the country from taking over the U.S. Meanwhile, Dwight’s building standards irritate the staffers, and Pam threatens to move the branch to a new building.

Grey’s Anatomy | 9pm on ABC
“Adrift and at Peace”
Concerned about Cristina, Derek takes her on a fishing trip; Teddy directs her efforts and compassion toward a dying patient (Scott Foley) without the proper insurance to seek treatment. [GMMR: You had me at Noel Crane!]

Fringe | 9pm on Fox
“Entrada”
Olivia searches for an ally; a device that can bridge the communication gap between universes is discovered by the Fringe team. [GMMR: Not watching FRINGE is one of my biggest TV regrets. But I’ve heard a few rumors that tonight’s episode is especially Fringetastic. Be sure to check it out.]

Nikita | 9pm on The CW
“Dark Matter”
Owen leaks Division secrets to the press about the government’s involvement in an assassination in Chile. In response, Percy frames a CIA agent for the murder, and Nikita and Owen are captured trying to rescue him. Meanwhile, Alex sees a new side of Percy.

Outsourced | 9:30pm on NBC
“Homesick to my Stomach”
Todd gets homesick until learning that he can watch his favorite football team’s game; when he gets food poisoning, Todd vows not to let it keep him from watching the game.
