THE BACHELOR: Brad, Please Step Away From the Crazy Woman

January 25, 2011 by

Considering the fact that I focus on the craziest of the crazy moments on THE BACHELOR in these posts, I feel like a lot of my time is going to be spent writing about Michelle.

I cannot freaking believe that nutcase is still around.

Yes, her date with Brad went well, but I have to wonder what the heck he’s thinking now as he’s watching this back. Assuming he didn’t pick her, is he horrified? If he did pick her, is he second-guessing his life choices? Or maybe he thinks it’s just bad editing?

We only know what we see. And I see someone I want off the show.

So Michelle had a black eye. That stinks. I might have felt bad for her had she not “joked” that she’d give Brad one of his own if he didn’t give her a one-on-one date. So, uh, yeah. I guess Brad should be relieved he did just that?

But whose bright idea was it to put crazy Michelle on ropes? Making her scale down a building doesn’t seem super smart. Generally, I like to keep the not-quite-sane people in my life as close to the ground as possible to prevent drama.

I don’t understand why this is a recurring date theme on THE BACHELOR. I don’t know anyone who routinely scales down buildings or jumps out of airplanes, etc., but these contestants frequently do that.

Maybe it’s the adrenaline rush those adventures bring in the hopes that it will help the contestants forge bonds faster? It certainly seemed to work in the case of Michelle and Brad. They kissed, they chatted and he BEGGED her to accept the date rose.

BRAD! WTF?! Don’t beg the crazy girl. That encourages the bad behavior.

Sigh.

It certainly seems things are going to get worse. Her telling him to go send some girls home in the promo for future episodes was cringeworthy. Can we all hope that is from next week and he realizes the extent of her crazy then? Yeah, I don’t think that will happen either, but we can at least keep our fingers crossed.

Am I overreacting? Should I be giving Michelle a chance?

Let’s chat.

No, you are not crazy!! That title clearly belongs to Michelle. I can’t even understand how her toned down version ala the pool isn’t repugnant to him, sure he doesn’t see her psycho like behavior, like the girls in the house do, but she hasn’t had a pleasant look on her face since day one…how does he not see that??

I think my mantra this week will be “Michelle has to go.” That way maybe the universe will help him out since Brad hasn’t been smart enough to see that Michelle is LOONEY TUNES on his own.

Michelle is crazy, they just keep her on for publicity. Oh well,
but I still don’t understand why he always is begging people.
He’s constantly saying “PLEASE will you accept this rose?”
or “PLEASE tell me what’s bothering you PLEASE.”
    enough already Brad!
    I don’t understand!
