Comments Off on HOUSE Star Lisa Edelstein Checks In To CHILDRENS’ HOSPITAL

The third season premiere of CHIILDRENS’ HOSPITAL is still months away (boo!), but after hitting up the set yesterday, I’m practically counting down the days. There are some crazy things coming our way.

I got some face time with series creator/star Rob Corddry and we chatted about some of his favorite upcoming guest stars. It’s a solid list of talent and he admitted that the mystery guest star he and the cast had previously teased is HOUSE star Lisa Edelstein.

Woohoo!

So who will Edelstein be playing? Check out the video for the details!

COMMUNITY: ‘Celebrity Pharmacology 212’

Remember back in elementary and middle school, where they’d pause classes for a little while to tell us the dangers of smoking pot and huffing paint? Where they’d hand out those D.A.R.E shirts that you somehow still own ten/fifteen/twenty years later, and you walk away mainly with the knowledge that after-school special type PSAs aren’t really all that effective past the age of seven?

COMMUNITY remembers. And so “Celebrity Pharmacology 212” spends its half-hour probably the closest to PSA territory that it will ever get. And that isn’t really all that close.

Hello, BONES pals!

First of all, cheers to David Boreanaz for another VERY successful job at directing an episode. He is very talented; that’s all there is to it. And he plays the part of a very talented man, Seeley Booth. Come on, now…you were loving hot, confident, FBI Booth, right? Of course, there was more to this episode than just Booth with his gun — a lot more. We must discuss!

When David Brent and Michael Scott collide — It’s something many fans of THE OFFICE have only dreamed of since the show’s US premiere six years ago. Tonight, it was made into a reality.

East Coast fans may have already seen the cameo appearance by Ricky Gervais as oblivious Brit David Brent (who famously originated in the UK version of THE OFFICE), but the moment won’t air on the West Coast for another couple of hours.

Lucky for both coasts, however, we’ve got the guest appearance right here at Give Me My Remote for your viewing (and re-viewing) pleasure.

Meanwhile, Sweets attempts to put on a brave face after being caught in the firestorm just moments following a chilly encounter with The Gravedigger. [GMMR: Creator Hart Hanson and star Emily Deschanel preview the sniper arc for us here!]

THE OFFICE: John Krasinski, Angela Kinsey and Brian Baumgartner Tease The Second Half of Season 7

Michael Scott, Hollywood filmmaker?

It’s a scary thought, but THE OFFICE will reveal in an upcoming episode that Michael has finally made his beloved script, THREAT LEVEL MIDNIGHT.

When I recently caught up with series stars John Krasinski (Jim), Angela Kinsey (Angela) and Brian Baumgartner (Kevin), they dished on that, potential babies, the return of Roy and Karen and the possibility of Krasinski’s wife, Emily Blunt, appearing on the show.

Plus, the awesome cast had some special words for Give Me My Remote readers and our very own Kath Skerry…

Comments Off on THE VAMPIRE DIARIES Preview: ‘The Descent’

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES returns to your television sets tonight, guys. Are you ready for it?

Last we left our favorite supernatural creatures, Tyler was suffering through his first full moon (and growing closer to Caroline), Elena was gearing up for a sacrifice, and the other werewolves in town were preparing for a possible war. Comments Off on ARCHER: H. Jon Benjamin and Chris Parnell Tease Season 2

Have you guys been watching FX’s raunchy cartoon, ARCHER?

I’m a new fan of the show and boy, is it wickedly funny. The first season is only 10 episodes so you could easily catch up on the series in one sitting. It’s well worth your time.

ARCHER was honored at Paley Center earlier this week and I talked with the series stars H. Jon Benjamin (Archer) and Chris Parnell (Cyril) about the season premiere and got a few teases about what’s going on in season 2.
