HUMAN TARGET: Matt Miller’s Message to the Fans. Plus, What Are the Chances for Season 3?

February 10, 2011 by

Human Target on FOX

Now that you’ve seen the second season finale of HUMAN TARGET, what did you guys think? It was pretty freaking amazing, right?

But will the show be back next year?

During my chat with showrunner Matt Miller, I got his take on whether the Fox show will get a third season, his regrets and what he has to say to the loyal HUMAN TARGET fans…

The burning question is whether HUMAN TARGET will get a third season. Are you feeling confident the show will be back next year?
Matt Miller:
They have moved us around — when we were originally supposed to air in the Fall, we were supposed to be on Fridays. And then they moved us to Wednesdays because they liked how the episodes were turning out and they had room on the schedule and it was a big boost of confidence from them. And it was very nice, I think they marketed the show very well and all that. The problem was premiering mid-November is not a great time to premiere a show, particularly when you have Thanksgiving coming up a week later. And when you come back from Thanksgiving, a couple weeks after that you have Christmas. So it’s very, very difficult to have people building momentum.

So we started off a little shaky. Since the new year has started, our numbers have been really good. We had a really good two-part episode that premiered the first week in January. Then we were feeling that momentum and going into another one for the second week and we got preempted by a speech by the President regarding the situation in Arizona. So they ended up preempting up and we didn’t air that Wednesday. Then they had literally nowhere else to put us the rest of the Winter/Spring season, so they ended up bouncing those episodes to two nights later on a Friday, which on the face of it was a horrible thing. I had a pit in my stomach [thinking] nobody would watch these episodes. And they ended up doing a really good number for no promotion on a Friday.

What [I thought] was a curse, ended up being a blessing in disguise, because I think it showed Fox, hey, you can put this show anywhere and it can get an audience. And then two weeks later we air on a Monday night where we’ve never aired before — it’s almost like a game show of “Find the HUMAN TARGET” — and we ended up doing our best numbers of the season. And what I think it showed Fox is there is an audience for this show, you can put it anywhere, and that audience is going to find it and they will watch it. And I think that was really, really helpful for us because we did very nicely last week after AMERICAN IDOL and we have the finale now [again] after AMERICAN IDOL.

My thing with AMERICAN IDOL is I don’t necessarily think the AMERICAN IDOL audience is our audience. There’s a natural drop-off that’s going to happen there because that’s a real family-oriented show and you turn on our teaser and three people wind up getting killed. It doesn’t necessarily lend itself to that as a lead-in, other than the fact that so many people watch AMERICAN IDOL.

So that’s a long-winded way of saying, I’m cautiously optimistic [about a renewal].

After those Friday numbers, you’d think at the very least Fox would bring you back and pair you up with FRINGE.
MM:
Yeah. That would be great. We’d be thrilled and that’s something we’ve certainly thought about and hopefully they’ve thought about it. FRINGE has done well on Fridays, so two Warner Bros. shows back-to-back on Fridays would be great. And I think we would pair well with FRINGE. I feel like there would be a good crossover [of potential audiences] there.

Hopefully Fox sees that, too. Now that you’ve completed your first season as showrunner, what are you most proud of?
MM:
[jokingly] Nothing! [Laughs] Um, let’s see. I think [HUMAN TARGET]’s a really, really big show to do. It’s action and stunts and some comedy and some dramatic things between characters — it was a really big undertaking. And ultimately the crew is wonderful up in Vancouver and the cast was terrific, so I’m pretty proud of the 13 episodes we put together this season. It’s hard for me to say because you become very close to the episodes and certainly there is something I would do different in almost every scene of every episode, but for the most part, I would take those 13 episodes we made this year and put them up against any show on TV — let me rephrase that, any one-hour network drama, for my taste, I would put them up against [HUMAN TARGET]. It’s good storytelling, it’s an entertaining show, it’s got romance and comedy. I’m pretty proud of those 13 episodes.

Do you feel like being on the bubble helped with what the network let you get away with as far as storytelling?
MM:
You don’t really know you’re going to be on the bubble when you’re figuring out these storylines, but both the network and the studio have been excellent partners on the show, creatively, throughout this entire season. From the very beginning when we were handing in scripts and talking about what we wanted this season to be like, they couldn’t have been more supportive. They got it, they understood the show and they liked where we were taking it. I think for them, for everyone at the studio and Fox, creatively they’re super proud and excited about the show. It’s just about the cold hard numbers at this point and financially and how the pilots turn in to see if we get a season three. If it was just about a creative decision, I think we’d be coming back [next season], definitely.

That’s very good to know. Is there anything you wish you had done differently this year that you can talk about?
MM:
[Laughs] There are so many things! There are so many things in every episode. I was just sitting in a mix on Friday night of the final episode and I want to change everything.

I will tell you one thing I didn’t realize was going to be so big — you make a million decisions in any given day. And one of the decisions that I made — and I probably shouldn’t even say this — but I will concede that I had no idea the celebrity that [original theme song composer] Bear McCreary had. I didn’t realize the backlash that was going to happen by changing the opening theme song. Now, Bear also didn’t score the actual music throughout the episodes but I think the music was fantastic and it was done by Tim Jones, who is a wonderful composer and a very, very talented guy, but I think in hindsight I shouldn’t have changed the opening theme.

I’ll go online, and I shouldn’t do this, but I’ll go online and check out blogs about the show — which is a horrible thing to do, because you end up going bananas — but it seems like people are genuinely loving the show. And the only thing that 13 episodes in people are still complaining about is how I changed the opening theme song. In hindsight, if I could do it over again, I would not have changed the opening theme song. So there you have it: I made a mistake.

See, I loved the original theme song, but I don’t think there was anything wrong with the new song…
MM:
My concern was the music was going to change during the course of the show and we were going to do a lot of needle drops this season with music and I think that stuff worked really effectively. And I was worried the old theme song wasn’t going to match musically where we were going with the show. In hindsight, I think it would have matched and people would have been okay. Halfway through the season, I almost switched back to the old theme, but I was sort of discouraged from switching during the season. I wasn’t even going to make an announcement, I was just going to [do it]. But if there is a season three, it is absolutely something I will be discussing creatively with Warner Bros. and Fox to see if they are comfortable changing back.

I was horrified that people at Comic-Con were going to hunt me down because I changed the theme song. I did not know who I was messing with, believe me.

Well, at least now they know there is a chance to have the original theme back if there is a season three. And speaking of which, have you mapped out any of next season yet?
MM:
No, I have not mapped out a season three yet. That’s something I’ll be doing in the next couple weeks because you have to have that ready to present that to Fox before they agree to a pickup. In the next few weeks, I’ll start thinking about what a season three would be.

We do already have two scripts already written for season three, and we have a bunch of episodes ready, but those are just single episodes. In terms of an arc for a season, we haven’t really put that together.

Before we go, is there anything you’d like to say to the HUMAN TARGET fans?
MM:
Just thank them for their loyal support. I had no idea how persistent and loyal they’d turn out to be, because if not, the show would have been completely dead in the water. With the air schedule they put us on, it would have been so easy for us to stumble and it would have been an easy decision for Fox to cancel us. So I’d like to thank our fans for sticking by us and being diligent enough to find us throughout an incredibly difficult air schedule. So I want to thank them for their support, their loyalty and tell them their voices are always are heard, even though it sometimes requires several drinks to get on to one of those blogs or Twitter to hear what they’re saying. I do pay attention and I do listen to everything.

Are you hoping for a third season of HUMAN TARGET?

Please do not cancel this show. It took a while for me to get into it but now….. it’s a must see. I love the group dynamics and Mark Valley is awesome. Great stories and a touch of James Bond now & then doesnt hurt.
With all the mediocre somewhat ridiculous shows on the air, it makes one wonder how they survive. But…. please do not cancel this show.

Fight for us Matt! Human Target fans WANT MORE!

I love this show and Lie To Me. Fox can’t find two better shows going. For heaven’s sake, Fox Studio give these guys a chance (no pun intended).

  4. Mary Burroughs on February 10th, 2011 12:19 pm

Fox, please do not cancel Human Target. We are so invested in these characters and can’t wait to see what’s next. The show is smart, exciting, and funny. The cast is perfect, especially Jackie Earle Haley … he steals every scene he’s in. Give them a third season!

  5. Barb on February 10th, 2011 1:51 pm

My favorite shows are Bones, Fringe, Human Target, Castle, House, and Lie to Me. I want them all! Fox, pls note that all except one of those shows airs on your network.

i really hope that Fox renews it for a 3rd season. It’s so much better with the 2 added women,it’s such a cool, enjoyable show! Fox please renew it & give it a full season pickup starting in september,& for the love of God,pick a night for it and stick with it! I will follow it any night they choose, but i think this great show deserves a full season shot. After reading Matt Millers interview, that some fans were mad the theme song was changed,REALLY??..Personally,I think its so much better now,but if you’re a true fan of the show, who really cares what’s the theme? New episodes is all i could ever want!

  8. Jordan Ross on February 10th, 2011 4:39 pm

Fox, please do not cancel this show. It is AMAZING. I don’t really like a lot of T.V. shows at all, but this one just clicks for me. I love all the characters, they are so dynamic. The actors and actresses are so good at making the emotions seem real, and the stunts and fight scenes are so well coordinated. The fans want it, the show deserves it, bring Human Target back for a season three!

  9. joe on February 10th, 2011 4:49 pm

I LOOVE the show especially this season. I DVR all of them. Please mak a third season but ummm, i live in the Bay Area and the BART is not called ‘The Subway” here and it doesnt snow in the city (San Francisco). I’m sure non Bay Areans dont notice but we do….Any way, Human Target is the BEST show on Network TV now! Please save it!!!!!

  10. Chris on February 10th, 2011 6:07 pm

This show is like a blend of two of my favorite shows, 24 and MacGyver. You got the wit and charm of MacGyver with the ability of a Jack Bauer and Jason Bourne. I also like that most of the episodes are stand alone and not requiring of you to follow other episodes. I also curious if they count the amount of people who watch the shows on the internet. I work early morning so I sleep when the show is on and watch it later on Hulu. Just curious. Hope it stays on the air!!

  11. Baz on February 10th, 2011 6:53 pm

Bring it back nothing else worth the watch

  14. SLIM on February 10th, 2011 7:44 pm

I really love Human Target. Please, please give us a third season. I stumbled upon the show late, season two episode one to be exact. I DVR’d that episode and saw it no kidding ten times. My husband would laugh at me because every time I had a free moment I would watch that episode again, until of course the next episode came on. I then went out and treated myself to the DVD set of season one. I love the show so much I recommend it to friends. I love the addition of the ladies. And honestly the theme doesn’t matter to me. I would just love another season. I DVR every episode and watch them more than twice. I have even watched them on HULU and on the FOX Human Target page with my husband who now is a fan too. I will say one thing, when season three comes, please advertise more. Please use Facebook more. The fans have found Human Target no matter what day or time it is on. And even though there are some who do not like the changes, they are still watching the show! That means that we love the characters and story lines.

  15. Quantumdr on February 10th, 2011 8:32 pm

    Fox,
Now sure how you would address a multi-million dollar cooperation, but if you could understand so many (I’m aware of my local bubble I live in) many eagerly await seeing it NOW and are hoping for a Season 3?

I travel, and my wife is a mathematician, daughter chemical engineer, and they text me telling me how great and thank me for letting them know just four episodes ago how great and they are telling their friends!

Btw, they do not watch TV except Fringe and Glee!

    Go Figure?

Regards and hope you give it a chance if it is profitable,
    Qdr∏

Human Target is easily one of my favorite shows on, right now. I pretty much gave up on t.v. a few years ago, but I’ve been watching Human Target online since the first episode of Season 1 via Hulu. I sincerely hope that there is a third season in store.

  17. JoeC on February 10th, 2011 10:18 pm

Love the show. The best part of it for me is the subtle non-verbal interaction between the characters. Too many shows seem to believe the more ‘witty’ dialog the better. But the reality for men in these professions is they are more observers and less talkers.

Some of the glances and halted non-comments we get from Winston are priceless. These actors deserve more recognition for their skills and I look forward to seeing more of them.

  18. JeffH on February 10th, 2011 11:05 pm

I love Human Target. Please please please bring it back for season 3. It’s the best show on television. Mark Valley and Jackie Earle Haley are fantastic in their roles. I will be severely depressed if Christopher Chance and Guerrero leave my air waves.

  19. Ben on February 10th, 2011 11:15 pm

I’m a retired college professor, shouldn’t really be HT’s “target” at all, but its scripting and acting and filming are strictly big league, whatever genre you want to call it. Like USA’s hot property “Burn Notice” it’s action based, but with a cast of characters you quickly learn to care about. Comic book reality or not, it’s a storyline you find yourself investing real feeling in. It doesn’t compete with “House” or “Bones,” both of which are also marvelously well written and acted, but it shares their commitment to quality entertainment. I can only hope Fox realizes what a winner it has the power to continue.

  20. Bham on February 10th, 2011 11:27 pm

I really love this show and hope that you continue with Season 3. I wasn’t sure about adding the female element but it seems to be coming together. We get the grit with the class, a little bit like James Bond.
I LOVED the opening sequence, reminded me of Wild Wild West and the music even fit.
The original theme was better in my opinion and the first time I heard it, I had to play it for my wife. You don’t find that level of orchestration anymore. Viewers don’t realize what they are missing in show theme songs today. Just a thought, you could use the season 2 theme as a closer.
Please return, but keep the romance on the back burner. Remember what happened to “Moonlighting”? It killed off the show once David and Maddie slept together. It was all down hill from there and I’m not kidding. The BMW went down the street in San Fran. Just a sign.
Pick a night, advertise, and stick to it. Pairing up with Fringe would be ideal as someone else suggested. Thursday nights used to be a “golden” night. I think you have a real winner of a show so treat it like one and give a good placement.
I have enjoyed the show immensely.

  21. AJ on February 11th, 2011 12:57 am

One of the best shows on TV…..without a doubt…..BRING BACK HUMAN TARGET!!

I find myself laughing out loud, biting my nails, cheering, and getting choked up, all in the same episode sometimes.

It deserves 5 more seasons, but ill settle for a season 3 announcement for now. Fox has been dumb enough to cancel some pretty amazing shows so i will hold my breath until i hear for sure, but if quality is the main deciding factor, its a shoe in.

PS I like both seasons’ themes so im ok with either, as long as what comes after stays awesome.

Great job making the show grow in this season. I like the additions to the team and the increased bonding by everyone.

    GUERRERO FRIGGIN’ RULES!!

  22. JonG on February 11th, 2011 2:54 pm

Me and my wife love this show-there isn’t enough action adventure on TV, and this show nails the right tone. Some sly comedy, good characters and relationships, and very well shot and staged action scenes. Please fight for this show, I think Friday night would be a great time slot.

PS I also like the new additions to the cast.

  23. Cynthia on February 11th, 2011 7:51 pm

PLEASE DON”T CANCEL THIS SHOW! WE LOVE IT IN OUR HOUSE. Have followed it everywhere Fox has moved it~ can’t wait for season 3 – don’t disappoint me Fox!

  24. eric on February 11th, 2011 7:52 pm

Don’t chancel! …must be a bad joke, cause there’s defintely enough reality-crapp for brain-deads already!

  25. SPOCK on February 11th, 2011 7:53 pm

Go back to the original premise of the 3 guys and take the women out of the show. Please. ‘Human Target’ jumped the shark when Chance and Ilsa kissed.

  26. Amber C. on February 11th, 2011 7:53 pm

Our family loves Human Target! We especially love that our older sons (12 &13 yrs)can watch it – it’s a pretty clean show – THANK YOU!!!

  27. Josephine on February 11th, 2011 7:55 pm

I adore Mark Valley and think he’s wonderful in this, along with Che and Jackie. I wasn’t too sure of adding the women characters, but Ames is growing on me. I still don’t care for Ilsa, I’m not sure if they thought bringing in her would bring in more women viewers. If Ilsa became a reoccurring instead of a regular, and the romance was put on the back burner, I could go back to loving this show instead of really liking it. Either way, I DO WANT a third season!

  28. RC on February 11th, 2011 7:55 pm

I love the show, it gets me through the week. I would suggest finding a different network as FOX is unreliable. I am excited to be looking forward to a 3rd season and I hope Human Target does not get canceled and that the folks at FOX wake up. Thank you.

  29. Tommy on February 11th, 2011 7:56 pm

PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL HUMAN TARGET! I DVR this show every week and look forward to watching it every weekend when I come home. This show is one of the few I get to watch and I absolutely love it. I have been watching since the pilot episode and could not imagine a weekend without an episode.

Love the new editions to the cast. Guerrero is freaking awesome!!!

  30. lance ford on February 11th, 2011 8:03 pm

Human Target is the Best show on television right now – so please to whom it may concern at Fox network -do not cancel it. Thank you.

  31. Chris Swaim on February 11th, 2011 8:03 pm

I LOVE EVERYONE on this show. Chi McBride, Jackie Earle Haley, Mark Valley, Indira, Varma, and Janet Montgomery. I love the interaction, the one-liners, especially from Guerrero and Winston. The chemistry between everyone is SO rare nowadays and these guys are legit. Until the 3rd season (hopefully) airs, episodes of Human Target On Demand are what I will be watching to get my fix. HUMAN TARGET SEASON 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  32. BrendaP on February 11th, 2011 8:04 pm

Human Target is one of our favorite shows. The trouble has been trying to find it as they move it around the schedule. At first, I didn’t think the ladies really fit in well with the show and I seriously wondered why the writers felt they had to include them. However, by the end of the season, I realized how much more character development there had been. If introducing the ladies to the mix was the catalyst for that change, then it was well worth it. Plus, Mrs. Pucci became more bearable by the season’s end. I really have a rough time seeing her as a love interest for Chance, though. They don’t seem to be a good fit. I think I should be cast for THAT part! Mark Valley is a handsome hunk!!

  33. Debbie on February 11th, 2011 8:04 pm

    Someone already said it:

    Re:Season 3 Human Target—

FOX PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! RENEW HUMAN TARGET SEASON 3!!!
Pleaseee I beg you! I love this show so much and I don’t care if you have random times to air it, I will always find out a way to watch this show even if I have to travel to the end of this earth!
Me, my friends and even my family enjoys watching this show!
It is absolutely breath-taking with it’s good mix of heart pounding action, comedy, romance, and drama! I haven’t seen a show that I loved so much for so long!!! My friends and I have NEVER missed a single episode.
Please air this show back as soon as possible!
(or at least until American idol is over)

    Sincerely: Human Target’s Biggest Fan!!!

I am so tired of really great shows being cancelled. I have recommended this show to everyone I know. It has a good mix of a show. Love it, Love it, Love it. Please don’t cancel!!!!!!

  36. Tammy Tisher on February 11th, 2011 8:05 pm

This isn’t just the best show in the Fox line-up, it is the best that television has to offer. Action and humor, with a great cast. Hopefully they know a great combo when they have it!

  37. Dennis R Watson on February 11th, 2011 8:06 pm

This show is a great action drama the writing and storys are wonderfull. The cast is great and there is so much more to be seen and done with this run there should really be a thrid and maybe forth session. So please keep the show

I am going to be VERY angry if Fox cancels Human Target.

  39. Shirley on February 11th, 2011 8:11 pm

PLEASE BRING HUMAN TARGET BACK FOR A 3RD SEASON. MY FAMILY LOVES THIS SHOW. THE CHARACTERS ARE UNFORGETTABLE AND PLAY OFF OF EACH OTHER SO WELL. THE PLOTS ARE VERY INTERESTING AND ENJOYABLE. I DID NOT MISS A SINGLE EPISODE EVEN THOUGH I HAD TO HUNT FOR THE DAY AND TIME IT WAS AIRING.

  40. Thomas Messinger on February 11th, 2011 8:12 pm

If I was only allowed to watch one show on TV what show would that be? Easy answer, “Human Target”. I’m shocked to think there is even the thought of canceling it.

I do have one BIG complaint. This season it did not start till the middle of November and now the season is over at the beginning of February! What gives? Why such a mini season? Season 2 was only a half of a season. FOX, you have a blockbuster of a program, show it the whole season AND keep it at the same day and time so it can build and even bigger following. Why, O’ why was it cut short?

  41. Jacey on February 11th, 2011 8:12 pm

For years I haven’t followed any particular show on TV, because to be honest, most of the shows on these days just really aren’t worth two hoots. The first time I happened across an episode of Human Target, I was instantly interested and have tried not to miss it since. You can imagine that feat with it flying all around the time slots, but I have made the effort to try to make sure I know when the next episode will aire. I do hope there is more to come. I like it’s combination of action and comedy. It doesn’t matter that some of the stunts are not quite realistic, somehow it still comes off as happily entertaining. Give it a stable time slot and give it another season, then hopefully we’ll all be happy.

  42. Michelle on February 11th, 2011 8:18 pm

I agree w/Debbie – Pick a night – advertise – stick with it! Great show! It deserves it’s time to shine! Hope FOX is listening!

  43. Amanda Henri on February 11th, 2011 8:18 pm

PLEASE don’t canel!! It is my families FAVOURITE show! Fast, funny, witty and also something I can have on while my kids are up. The intelligence and humour played between all of the characters, and they are characters….is the highlight of my tv week! Look how well it is doing and Fox has barely given it a chance…give it sometime, it will be HUGE!!!

  44. Kema on February 11th, 2011 8:18 pm

I own an independent bookstore in Gray, Georgia, and Human Target is the only show on TV that I watch without a book to read during the boring moments. There are NO boring moments in Human Target! I don’t even read when the commercials are on, because I’m afraid I’ll get sidetracked and miss something when the show starts back up! I could do without the whole Ilsa and Chance romance, but I guess the show has to go where it has to go. Love the friendship between the three guys – love that the bad guy loses – just love the show. Don’t let it end.

  45. Miarda on February 11th, 2011 8:18 pm

Hoping Human Target is renewed, we love the show and we find it where ever you put it. Last nights show was awesome. Read previous posts. Others said it much better than I can. We have an odd assortment of characters who together make an awesome TEAM.

  46. Billie Holden on February 11th, 2011 8:19 pm

Human Target is the best show on TV. Please keep it on more seasons! If I could only watch one show, it would be Human Target.

  47. bouds on February 11th, 2011 8:21 pm

Without a doubt one of the most entertaining shows on television. I really dig the action, but the wit and relationships within the show prevent it from becoming just a bunch of gunfights and explosions. FOX has a winner here. I have turned several friends onto this show, now they can’t stop watching. One of them watched both seasons in under a week. Thus FOX must renew Human Target for a third season and invest in advertising. Less reality, more entertainment. C’mon FOX, this show Ames true, give it another Chance ;D

  48. Nate S on February 11th, 2011 8:22 pm

Fantastic show — I was a bit skeptical in the beginning of season 2 with the first noticeable change being the theme song. First words outta my mouth — “Uh-oh. They shouldn’t have done that… Totally bad move.” It’s kinda grown on me and I appreciate the mix for the changes towards season 2. Don’t change it back to the original theme song unless something really drastic happens like Indira getting kidnapped or killed… Not that I’m saying anything should happen to her, but given the way this show has panned out so far, I could imagine it taking a turn like that…

Anyway — I F’in LOVE this show. Casting/Directing/Writing… It’s got it all. And the fact that Tony Hale has joined the cast cameos on several occasions only put’s a fine point on how great this show really is… Brilliant men for the most brilliant of shows.

This show is likely my favorite on television right now — a toss up between Human Target, SGU and Fringe — three awesome heavy hitters.

Keep up the excellent work!!! Lets try for nine or ten seasons, mmmkay?

  49. Bobbie Marker on February 11th, 2011 8:23 pm

Please, please renew!!!! We have watched every show, first and second season. We have watched them when they aired, real time…thus we have seen all the commercials. I would have a hard time waiting to watch a dvred episode….we plan other things around whenever Fox schedule the show these past 3 months. We own the first season on dvd and can’t wait to buy the second season. Already feel at a loss with no new episode on the schedule.
Please renew and let us know when the new episodes will start.

  50. brendon on February 11th, 2011 8:23 pm

i need a season three. this is my action fix on weekdays, the characters and the bomb and damn chance is a badass!

  51. Mike Scibetta on February 11th, 2011 8:25 pm

I have been a fan and supporter since Episode 1. I have always thought the Human Target would be a great replacement for 24. Fox should have put HT on Monday nights at 9pm. 24 did great in this timeslot, and Fox could have gone after the same viewers. Also consider the popularity of DVR’s, regardless of what night, or what time my favorite shows are on, I will record them, and watch them when I want. Please bring back Human Target for Season 3

  52. Beth on February 11th, 2011 8:27 pm

My husband and I LOVE human target. We are really hoping we get a third season!

  53. Angel on February 11th, 2011 8:27 pm

I had never heard of Human Target until this Second season, My husband & I had got into Hell’s Kitchen on wednesday nights, it was our only night of the week together. 1st episode of 2nd season came on we decided to keep it on the channel & watch it. I never missed a episode the entire season.. I work at a hotel so when the schedules were being changed & i was working my husband would update me & it would be on in the lobby of the hotel. I LOVE this Show & every actor on the show! Keep up the good work & you all have my support! πŸ™‚

  54. Heather on February 11th, 2011 8:28 pm

Please renew this show, it has much potential and I would love to keep seeing the three leads doing their thing weekly.

But, about this team hunting down Matt Miller? How do can we get on that?

  55. Jill Blankenship on February 11th, 2011 8:29 pm

Please, please, PLEASE, do NOT cancel Human Target!!! I have so very few pleasures in my life, so I like to escape reality an hour here or there by diving into a great tv show! I am angry that it appears Fox is trying to sabotage Human Target by postponing it’s start, moving it all over the week and preimpting it for an un-necessary Presidental address, but I was always able to find it and enjoy as I hope all true fans could do…we deserve a third season!! I love Mark, Chi, and Jackie and the new characters are growing on me!! Give me more time to love them too!!!

  56. zacky on February 11th, 2011 8:30 pm

    WE NEED THE THIRD SEASON…
    Please, REMOVE Ilsa Pucci…
    i hate that women…
and, 1st Theme song by bear!

  57. Brianna Holden on February 11th, 2011 8:31 pm

I’m so glad to hear that they may bring the old theme song back!! Please, Please FOX, give us our Human Target – season 3!!! I want more Mark Valley. Um, any CHANCE he can take his shirt off more in season 3? πŸ˜‰

  58. ADri on February 11th, 2011 8:35 pm

Dang it, it seems such a no brainer to bring this show back. It has really hit its stride and is an obvious replacement to 24, but it has carved out its own personality & flair. I can’t believe 3rd season has not been written yet!
Common Fox get with it So Brash, so lallygagging… Pick up this show NOW!

  59. CCho on February 11th, 2011 8:36 pm

I love Human Target! Great show. I really hope they renew it for another season – or twelve. Would love to see more of Mark Valley without his shirt on too!!!

  60. Fluffy on February 11th, 2011 8:36 pm

Um … you’ve all seen the ratings right? Human Target is screwed. I love it, but it’s completely screwed. I loved the second season as well; the new characters led the show away from the traditional ‘Chance finds hot girl. Chance has romantic chemistry with hot girl. Chance saves hot girl.’

  61. ADri on February 11th, 2011 8:36 pm

Oh and the addition of Ilsa Pucci was genius, she is awesome, the chemistry is just agonizingly good!

  62. Frayedknot4u on February 11th, 2011 8:41 pm

HEY!! You GOTTA give this show another run. Putting it back to back with Fringe would make my night : ) : ) : ) : ) I love both of these shows. And I have to say, when Mrs. Pucci came on board I was nervous, but I have to say She ROCKS the vote!!! Love the chemistry she brings to the show. KEEP IT GOIN !!!!!

  63. dawn on February 11th, 2011 8:42 pm

I sure hope that FOX does not cancel Human Target and brings it back. It is one of the best shows out there. As far as i am concerned, they can cancel American Idol and put Human Target in its place!!!!!

  64. Kathy on February 11th, 2011 8:42 pm

LOVE THIS SHOW!!! PLEASE COME BACK FOR A THIRD SEASON!

The only thing I did NOT like was when it was pre-empted and I did not know it was aired on Friday and I MISSED IT. Found out afterwards and was totally peeved. They need to re-air that one!

Everything else was perfect and this show needs to be on the fall (or summer) schedule and KEEP IT ON THE SAME NIGHT.

  65. Ron on February 11th, 2011 8:46 pm

I hope Fox brings Human Target back it is a good show with good performances. Pairing it friday with Fringe sounds like a good idea.

  66. Joe on February 11th, 2011 8:47 pm

    FOX.
Really, if you this show a REAL time slot and stop using it as you port-a-potty….think you might get some real ratings.
    DARN GOOD SHOW!
Please dont make me watch CBS or ABC

Don’t turn this show into firefly or brisco country jr.

  67. Kathye on February 11th, 2011 8:48 pm

Please do NOT cancel this show! I love this show and have followed it everywhere it has been thrown. How in the heck am I supposed to get through my week with my Guerrero fix!

  68. Faye on February 11th, 2011 8:53 pm

I love Human Target. It is so entertaining and fun. We actually saw them filming in Vancouver in September 2009 before the show had aired. After that, we made a point to watch it and were so glad we did. I hope it gets a third season – Fox has certainly changed the schedule too many times, but having a DVR set up to record the season helped. FOX bring this show back and pair it with Fringe. Thanks.

  69. Edward on February 11th, 2011 8:58 pm

This is the first show that I have really gotten behind since The Shield ended. I love this show! It reminds me a little of all the Cop shows I watched growing up and the humor is awesome. FOX NEEDS to give it a good home nad watch it become the focal point of the neighborhood. I still have not seen the two episodes that got bumped by the Presidents Speech, Hey how about putting the second season on Fridays in reruns, I bet it will do great. And, then I can see them all!

  70. Sally Hatten on February 11th, 2011 9:11 pm

Like “Bones” this show has drama and humor. This is why they’re the favorites in our household. This combination is rare and. amidst all the cop and violence shows, unique. Please keep this show on the air. We’re eager to continue as loyal fans. With today’s computer accessibility it should be obvious when nights were switched and numbers for viewers were still high, that we’ll find it – because we’re frantically search for our Human Target fix!

  71. Michelle on February 11th, 2011 9:12 pm

Please keep it for a third season and many more. I love this show! Great stories and excellent characters. Guerrero is so much fun to watch.

  72. William Kazak on February 11th, 2011 9:16 pm

I love the show. Ilsa is fantastic charming and the main reason I watch. I was a late comer to the show and I only have seen the five latest episodes. Where was it advertised? Very poorly in the Chicago market. Of course I saw Mark Vally in Doll House. He is a character. Keep the show alive.

  73. Becky Moore on February 11th, 2011 9:17 pm

Our family watches HT faithfully. Facebook really helped in figuring out where in the world the episodes are. My only request is to PLEASE PLEASE watch the content. Season One was FAMILY FRIENDLY but Season Two got a bit too risque for this mother of 6. I did not think the sexual inuendos (almost always stated by the character Aimes) added anything to the story and it made me begin to question if this show was going to remain safe enough for us to watch as a family. It is so funny and we love the characters..please do not raunch it up. The characters and humor and relationships make for a hit show. Don’t throw in trash just to appease FOX.

  74. Mary on February 11th, 2011 9:18 pm

It would be seriously tragic if they didn’t renew Human Target. It’s got everything; humor, action, drama, romance and a cast to die for, I mean really. I don’t care what time or what day they moved this show to, I was there but FOX should give this show a home and keep it. I bought the first season on CD already, not something I normally do. It’s just that great!!!

  75. Religionbites on February 11th, 2011 9:18 pm

Human Target is by far one of the more entertaining shows on the air right now. It’s well written, well acted and the fight sequences are amazing. It’s a shame that Fox moved it around so much, but I was glad to see the ratings remain steady no matter what night it was on. I wasn’t sure about the addition of Ilsa & Ames at the beginning of the season, but I think they round out the cast well and compliment the guys. Chance kicks ass, Winston has superior wit and Guererro is, well, Guererro. Fox would be smart to renew the show, give it a consistent night on the schedule and let the audience grow.

Oh, and bring back the original theme. It was awesome.

  76. JYung on February 11th, 2011 9:22 pm

My husband and I both LOVE Human Target!! Its our favorite show on tv. We are really hoping for a third season….followed by a fourth… πŸ™‚

  77. Kate on February 11th, 2011 9:23 pm

This show is amazing! I just got into it this season, but it is one of the best shows on television. The team dynamics are so interesting to watch, and it doesn’t hurt that Mark Valley is a complete smoke show πŸ˜‰ ladies, you know what I’m saying. Id love for him to protect ME… lol
Fox, you can’t cancel this show! We need another season, please keep this amazing show on the air!

  78. Dwayne Hilton on February 11th, 2011 9:27 pm

In my opinion, this is one of the best shows on TV EVER! It’s almost like a mini action movie blockbuster each episode! Hopefully, the folks at Fox will appreciate what they have and let it continue to build an audience in a third season. With all the crap on TV (reality shows!), it’s refreshing to have something so different and entertaining to look forward to each week.

  79. Anita Parish on February 11th, 2011 9:44 pm

Please renew Human Target. This is a great show.

  80. Steverino on February 11th, 2011 9:44 pm

Love the show – both seasons, including the 2 new cast members. Brings a new and funny dynamic to the show. It appeared Fox wasn’t too concerned with its success with all the day changes, but thanks to the DVR we just set a season pass and we didn’t miss an episode. One of the few shows that EVERYONE in the family enjoys and gives us the opportunity to watch together. Come on Fox, give us a season 3!

  81. John Middleton on February 11th, 2011 9:49 pm

Our family, (me, my wife, and 14 year old daughter) love Human Target and want it back. We don’t have a lot of time together, but time spent watching Human Target is always enjoyed. There is something there for all of us and we spend the rest of the week remembering scenes and repeating lines. Fox, please do not cancel this show. We will watch it as long as you put it on.
p.s. Don’t forget to get Guerrero a new car!

  82. Pierce on February 11th, 2011 9:54 pm

I couldn’t agree more with the other fans – KEEP HUMAN TARGET! However, I have to slightly disagree with Matt’s comment that HT isn’t as family-oriented as American Idol. Our whole family sits down together to watch Chance and the crew. We have 5 kids ages 8 – 17. Love it!

  83. Kathy L on February 11th, 2011 9:58 pm

Fox is notorious for canceling really great shows without giving them much of a chance. Take Firefly for instance. One of the most loyal fan bases in television history and Fox screws it up. Oh well, at least we got a movie and a little bit of closure (thanks to the fans). I almost don’t want to start a new show when it’s going to be on Fox because I can’t count on Fox to keep it going. But I saw the previews for Human Target and did start watching. Needless to say I was hooked from the very first episode. There is action, adventure, comedy, drama and romance all rolled up into one fantastic show with a super hunk leading the way. And as much as I like looking at the super hunk, for me Guerrero makes the show. I will totaly lose my faith in the ability of TV executives if this show does not come back for a 3rd season. I am already planning on buying Season 1 and 2 to be able to watch it over and over again. DON’T SCREW THIS UP FOX!

  84. Debby/MI on February 11th, 2011 10:00 pm

I hope they renew this show – it’s my favorite thing on right now – hands down! And I love that if I miss an episode, I can watch it online. My kids have gotten into watching it with me if I’m watching online. πŸ™‚

  85. Jann Bailey on February 11th, 2011 10:01 pm

Seems like right now Fox has the best shows on TV. Don’t cancel Human Target. Missed the entire 1st season then found it this season and I’m hooked. Don’t forget to give Guerrero a new Caddy.

  86. Lathamboy on February 11th, 2011 10:03 pm

Do not cancel this great show! The cast is fantastic and I look forward to a new episode every week.

  87. Chris Hirner on February 11th, 2011 10:09 pm

Best show i’ve seen in quite a while. every episode was like a short movie. The season finale was excellent work. The action the emotion and the perfect music for a last minute Pucci and Chance metting. Canceling this show would validate my theories that real tv shows are too expensive to produce now, so lets just put on more reality tv.

Good luck Human Target team. Hope to see you again in the fall

  88. Jay Ful on February 11th, 2011 10:44 pm

Honestly, this could be a landmark series if FOX knows whats good for them.
High quality entertainment, high quality stars & talent. Fox, don’t miss an opportunity for a 3rd Season winner!

  89. Kathy Mac on February 11th, 2011 10:54 pm

I second everything Kathy L said!!

Human Target needs to come back for another season. With all the challenges FOX threw at it this season, fans still found it!! We love the dynamic of the characters – what a GREAT job casting the leading men!! We really hope to see you back! It will be a HUGE loss to FOX! LET IT GAIN MOMENTUM!!

Love U Human Target (Chance = YUM!)

  90. Sharon Wood on February 11th, 2011 11:06 pm

I love the action and humor on the show — Please don’t cancel the show !!!!

  91. Don on February 11th, 2011 11:10 pm

After CBS took “The Unit” off television, I stopped watching most shows. But this is now my favorite show. Please give us another season (with more than 13 episodes).

  92. Helena on February 11th, 2011 11:20 pm

This show is the only thing that makes tv worth watching at all..

  93. Anita on February 11th, 2011 11:36 pm

Human Target is a great show and I’m looking forward to season 2. Please bring it back.

  94. Dena on February 11th, 2011 11:39 pm

I’ve loved Human Target since it first aired. I don’t have a DVR, so I just check the newspaper’s TV schedule to make sure I find it. And I love the idea of having it back-to-back with Fringe! I just wish Fox had their shows “On Demand.”

  95. Mark Logan on February 11th, 2011 11:39 pm

The best thing for this show would be to get rid of Tim Powers, either bring back Bear McCreary or get someone who at least writes the same STYLE of music, kill Ilsa Pucci in the Season 3 premier, and send the team back to operating on a shoestring.

I hated the way the majority of episodes focused in some way on the Pucci woman, and how badly the ball was dropped on the season 2 premier. (WHERE was the Old Man? And after ALL THAT CRAP over the book the bad[der] guy wanted, they LEFT IT on the FLOOR!? WHISKEY, TANGO, FOXTRO!?)

We won’t even discuss the ashram BS.

Fix it, I’ll watch it. Leave it fouled up? I suspect you won’t last half a season.

  96. Denise Felty on February 11th, 2011 11:43 pm

My husband and I love this show … Guerrero is his favorite character ever!! I was really skeptical about the girls coming on the show but I think they are awesome!! They add something to the show that I never realized it needed!! Ames and Guerrero are hilarious together!! I wish I could remember the “original” theme … I didn’t even realize it was different?? I know the opening is different but I never took notice to the music. WE LOVE THE SHOW … WE LOVE FOX!! House, Lie to Me, and Human Target are three of our favorites!! PLEASE DON’T CANCEL!!!

  97. Sheila on February 11th, 2011 11:43 pm

I’ve been following Mark Valley since Fox’s Keen Eddie (a show canceled far too early) and nothing has done him justice until Human Target.

I’ve been hooked since the first episode and got my dad hooked as well. The chemistry of the actors and the action/comedy dynamic of the show make for one of the best feel-good hours on TV today.

With season two I even managed to get my nana hooked on the show (I will admit I miss the original opening score but not enough to complain – I just bought the soundtrack for season 1!) The addition of the women on the cast was very well done, yes it changed the show but I liked having female leads and not just a ‘woman of the week’ as Chance’s arm candy.

I am eagerly awaiting Fox’s announcement for the future of Human Target, and if they’re smart they’ll choose to bring it back for a third season. If fans can follow the show with as much shuffling as was done this season it should be a testament that this show is worth (at least) another season!

  98. Lori on February 12th, 2011 12:17 am

Absolutely love the show!! Been a loyal fan since episode 1 season 1! Love the characters, love the story lines!! Here is to an amazing season 3!! So many people love the show, Fox needs to keep it going!!

  99. Colleen on February 12th, 2011 12:22 am

  102. Mike on February 12th, 2011 1:34 am

Human Target is one of my all-time favorite shows. It’s the TV only show I won’t miss. Great characters. Great stories, action, humor. I got my wife hooked on it. My parents watched it during a visit and were hooked. My adult daughter watched an episode and was hooked. Now I record the shows on DVR and play it when friends stop by, “you really HAVE to see this show, you won’t believe it…”

  103. Codi on February 12th, 2011 2:13 am

  104. Keely Chow on February 12th, 2011 2:28 am

FOX, please don’t cancel Human Target. Also, there needs to be more shows based on DC Comics now that Smallville is coming to an end. I don’t if it’s FOX or The CW, but somebody please give Batman and The Flash their own shows.

  105. Yvonne Smith on February 12th, 2011 3:06 am

I wish that the TV Networks would sometimes listen to the Fans instead of listen to the IDIOTS that crunsh numbers. Human Target is a fresh fun show and I’m getting really tired of good showes being cancled. So stop jerkin HT around, give them a 3rd season and a timeslot were they can prove this show isgreat!!!!

  106. Sue on February 12th, 2011 3:09 am

RENEW Human Target!! Awesome show. Wonderful acting by entire cast and LOVE the characters. FOX NEEDS to keep great shows on like this!!! Mark Valley is amazing. LOVED season 1 with all the action. Just bought the DVD set to watch again. Season 2 much deeper into characters and relationships–loved that too. Cannot wait for the DVD set to come out. Can’t wait to see what Season 3 has in store for us. The show is doing a great job developing the depth of everyone; whould be a shame to stop now:)

  107. N on February 12th, 2011 3:37 am

HT is one of the few shows both hubby and I love and never miss. I love how tge chars evolved and also the addition of the girl and how they affected the others. Guererro was awesome…chance was awesome….ilsa love her and the vulnerable side she brings out in chance. You have something special here FOX

  108. Jim Hull on February 12th, 2011 3:57 am

The Season 2 theme music is great! It’s kind of a pop riff on the Season 1 theme but with a James Bond feel. In fact, they’re both great. No need for everyone to get all upset either way.

On the other hand, I much preferred the Season 1 closing-credits music to that of Season 2, whose music makes too big a jump into a straight-jazz sound that doesn’t quite seem to match the mood of the show. But that’s just my opinion.

GREAT SHOW! Filled with heart and high spirits. Get that pick-up!

  109. Lily on February 12th, 2011 6:13 am

Please, Please don’t cancel this program! I love it! Haven’t missed an episode yet. If it’s cancelled, I’m going to protest and stop watching ANYTHING on Fox. Just because!

  110. deedleD on February 12th, 2011 6:56 am

The first season was better. It had better writing. I hate the new theme and the “needle drops”. The “comedy” is pointless and unneeded. Ames is always screwing up Guerrero (why is she there anyway?), Ilsa acts like an idiot most the the time (“I don’t think I’m ready for this”), none of the women are smart sexy and independent, the Chance-Ilsa thing is not even close to believable and we’re supposed to believe that Harry has can walk onto the show and nobody will notice how out of pointless his character is (“And here’s Harry again!” Harry who? Again?). The fight scenes are crappy. But worst of all, Chance no longer cares about anything or the people he meets. He acts like another run of the mill anti-hero loner – like we’ve never seen that before. They are trying to make this show into Chuck. A show that no longer is cool.

YOU CUT THE HEART AND SOUL OUT OF A DECENT SHOW!

BRING BACK JONATHAN E. STEINBERG AS SHOWRUNNER!

BRING BACK AMY ACKER, LEE MAJORS AND ARMAND ASSANTE!

  111. Reagui on February 12th, 2011 7:40 am

  113. n hammond on February 12th, 2011 8:10 am

It and Nikita are the only two shows I watch every week but this is our favorite. If it gets cancelled I may have to get rid of my tv.

  114. Tom on February 12th, 2011 8:31 am

Fox – please do NOT cancel this show!

I have been watching Human Target since the very first episode of Season 1. Never missed a show — LOVE it! I mean seriously, if the “powers that be” can justify Glee staying in the lineup then Human Target, which is 10,000 times better in my opinion should be a no-brainer!

We already got a good look into Chance’s past with several episodes worked into the storyline to understand his character more. We even got a small look into Winston’s past when they finally nailed that bad cop. In the season finale, we got a glimpse into Guerrero’s past (his “pressure point”). I would love to see several “flashbacks” or several episodes “sprinkled” into Season 3’s storyline to understand what makes Guerrero the cool badass he is. Also there has to be more to Winston’s past with that many years on the Force; have the Team needing to rely on his former contacts that used to readily help him when he was on the Force, but that they need to convince those contacts to help the Team now. Finally, now that Ames has a season on the Team under her “belt” it is time for her to step-up and prove that there is a reason she is on the Team other than eye-candy and comic relief. Don’t get me wrong, those were meant to be compliments and I think she is awesome as well as is Ilsa (I love the new dynamics of the Team), but script-wise it is time for Human Target to show its audience what Chance first saw in her way back in the start of Season 2.

Anyway, these are just my two pennies on the table from a loyal fan from the very start. Some my agree, most probably will disagree, but personally, I would take it as a compliment and wouldn’t sweat it if all the people tweeting about or on the forums is the theme music to the show. Either is cool with me. If that is all they have to “complain” about then the show must be doing everything else right! πŸ™‚ I cannot wait for Season 3!

Fox – please do NOT cancel this show!…

  115. crystal on February 12th, 2011 8:47 am

I seldom watch tv, haven’t even followed a series since Star Trek (the first one), but I LOVE HumanTarget! Every character plays well with the others. I like that the audience isn’t left with a cliff-hanger each episode, that the shows are well formed, the cast has been perfectly chosen for the parts they play, great show! I tell all my friends and family to watch this series….

Please keep this show going, for many seasons to come, and please pick a good slot to keep it in! I have had to hunt for the show and actually had to purchase a cord to connect my computer to my tv for one that I missed on tv and found on the computer…. although it was well worth it!
    Looking forward to next season!

  116. Justin on February 12th, 2011 8:57 am

Have been watching the show on HULU with my wife since season 1. Love it and hope it’s back for a 3rd season. We even NetFlixed a DVD of season 1 to get caught back up on everything. I do have to admit that the Christmas episode was pretty silly, but I understand that was probably the one with the smallest audience because everyone was traveling. πŸ™‚ Renew It!

Just adding my voice to the chorus of support. Is there anything fans can do to help ensure a third season? I am SO sick of losing smart, well-acted programming like human target!

  118. Michael on February 12th, 2011 9:45 am

PLEASE don’t cancel Human Target! The best thing about this show is the chemistry between the actors! Whoever did the casting was dead on! The action is great and the stories were great too. But when you get to watch very differant characters trying to interact and get along, that dynamic is what drives everything else. To FOX – PLEASE settle on a timeslot so I can find the show WHEN you RENEW IT! Also – bring back the original theme music! As for what I would like to see…more of why Guerrero is such a close friend with Chance and why he would do anything for him. Again.. PLEASE renew Human Target.

  119. Sarah on February 12th, 2011 10:11 am

Human Target is one of the few shows I absolutely love to watch. The mixture of action, adventure, comedy, & drama(but not too much) is rare on modern television. What also happens to be rare on modern TV, is the fact that my younger brother can watch the show as well, without me cringing about the content all the time. Most shows try too hard and end up filling their show with vulgarity that I just have no desire to watch. A good show has content amazing enough that they don’t need vulgarity to keep people interested. I think the majority of people would agree with me. I look forward to watching Human Target every week. It is an amazing show. I am truly hoping FOX does not rashly cancel this show. It would be terrible.
    The shows I watch: Human Target[FOX], Castle[ABC], The Mentalist[CBS], Survivor[CBS], The Amazing Race[CBS], Raising Hope[FOX]

  120. Julie on February 12th, 2011 10:14 am

I absolutely LOVE this show! My fave is Guerrero. But all of them are fantastic. FOX, I have told many people about this show, and some have had trouble finding it with all the bouncing around, & some prefer to see the episodes from the beginning of the series…. Any chance FOX would consider a “season” of repeat episodes?—- Bet the fan base would increase further. So many shows have such short seasons it is amazing that any of them get a chance to develope a following. I miss “repeat’ episodes; I like to get caught up in the action all over again, or see the missed shows. A lot of people missed episodes with all the moving around on the TV schedule. And I certainly would not mind watching the repeats, there is so little on TV that is WORTH watching.

  121. Steve on February 12th, 2011 10:25 am

The new opening theme isn’t even music. It’s indistinguishable from random noise.

But he still doesn’t get it. It’s not just the theme that’s missing. It’s the whole music. The new music is “meh”. Completely average and boring at best. Just like the show is a throwback to the 80s, so was the music. It was half the character of the show and firing McCreary totally gutted it. The characters are great, but the soul of the show is missing. The composer was the reason I even started watching HT.

  122. Cindy R on February 12th, 2011 10:50 am

I can’t believe how Fox has jerked this wonderful show around. It has EVERYTHING! Please give it another season! The cast dynamics is amazing. It has witty writing and great characters. They could have a hit bigger than Bones or House if they treated this show better. (hint hint – DO NOT put Chance and Ilsa together – it’s just so wrong…)
Love this show and it’s like hide and seek every week I want to watch it.
(Better yet… sell it to USA – they seem to treat their entertaining shows with a little more respect)

  123. Anne on February 12th, 2011 11:13 am

I LOVED this season! Adding Ilsa to the mix was brilliant! Don’t even think of not bringing this show back, dear FOX! It’s must-see-tv for me!

  124. lyle on February 12th, 2011 11:40 am

My wife and I both think this show is great and even though it was bounced around on different nights we found it anyway so looking forward to next season

  125. Bruce on February 12th, 2011 12:05 pm

My wife is not one to watch the action/adventure type shows on television. It should be a testament to the excellence in the writing and casting that she makes a point to watch it every week. This is one of the best shows on television today. Many of my friends tell me they are now hooked on it after I suggested they watch an episode. I can hardly believe that the audience would do anything but grow, given the right time slot. By the way, I don’t care for a late Friday night slot. Too man people go out on Friday nights and it limits the audience (unless you DVR the show). I sincerely hope that FOX brings back this cast for a Season 3 because the writers and cast definitely have created an addiction that is worthy of another.

  126. Cleigh DCJ on February 12th, 2011 12:12 pm

I love Human Target. I’ve watched every episode since they air the 1st season. Human Target is an intelligent show that’s why i like it so much. I would be very very disappointed if they don’t get another season. I love everybody in that show.. if FOX is reading all these blogs; Dear FOX, please give Human Target another chance.. It will be your loss if you drop this show.. Thank you.

  127. sharp on February 12th, 2011 12:16 pm

please fox give Human Target a Third season(and a 4th 5th 6th lol)it’s such a great show!!!!yeah so what the theme is different but still good! as long as the show stays on who cares if the theme is different,….. please renew for season 3!!!!!!!!!

  128. Darren on February 12th, 2011 12:57 pm

I hope Fox brings it back. Excellent show. Much preferred it last year before the new people were brought in but it is still very entertaining to say the least. The relationship and interaction between the three guys is great!

  129. Jackie on February 12th, 2011 1:13 pm

BEST SHOW OF THE SEASON and I love the characters. Please don’t cancel. No matter how many different nights it was on, I would find it. LOYAL FAN – COOL SHOW!!! Could easily replace a lot of crap on TV!!!!!

  130. Brittany on February 12th, 2011 1:48 pm

PLEASE give us a third season of Human Target! The show is brilliant, and I would hunt it down every week to find it! But for the love of all that is good in this world put it in one time slot so I don’t have to worry about missing an episode!! <3

  131. Matt on February 12th, 2011 2:05 pm

I’ve been watching this show ever since I accidentally tuned into the series premiere thinking it was 24. Needless to say, I stopped watching 24 halfway through its final season, but am still completely addicted Human Target.

I feel as though networks are hesitant to renew shows that don’t fit into a cookie-cutter “crime drama”, “sitcom”, or “reality show”. Human Target is a unique and engaging show, with a dynamic cast of characters. It is my favorite show since LOST and Dollhouse (which Fox also cancelled). I would be devastated if this show wasn’t renewed for a 3rd season.

  132. Arlene on February 12th, 2011 5:14 pm

We love this show and I was mad that the season is already over πŸ™ It’s a modern day James Bond but on a weekly basis. Please bring back another season!!

  133. Derek on February 12th, 2011 5:20 pm

If Human Target is renewed, please do a reboot to the end of Season 2 and pick up things from there. We were left on a cliff in that final episode and seemed to start fresh for some unknown reason.

I’d also ask that you get back to the original team and get rid of the two female characters. I’m not anti-female: It’s just that they two characters seemed to be in the show for the sole purpose of attracting the “Grey’s Anatomy” lovers out there (mainly female). How about STRONG female characters? We’ve seen them in both seasons…just now from Ilsa and Ames.

  134. Baz on February 12th, 2011 7:56 pm

Bring it back inuf singing and bloody dancing let’s get a life human target rocks πŸ™‚

  135. Gail on February 12th, 2011 8:31 pm

My husband and I both love this show. Fox -start it in September and give it a full season, we were so disappointed that it has already ended. The writing is good, the actors are good, I agree adding the 2 women has been a plus. We want to see what happens with the new heat between Ilsa and Chase!!!

  136. JP on February 12th, 2011 9:57 pm

I thought Season 1 was amazing, and was glad to see it renewed. Then I watched Season 2, and discovered that the compromises that were made to keep the show on the air were simply not worth it. The new characters are terrible, the new music is terrible, and the material no longer feels like an action film every week, it feels like a mediocre drama. In retrospect, I kinda wish it had been canceled at the end of Season 1. I would have still had some respect for it.

  137. sam on February 13th, 2011 12:24 am

this was my favorite show since the beginning o hope theres a third season i love the cast. love the action its just a show tht gives u adrenaline everytime u watch it and im always excited when they fiund ways too figure out everything.
my only complaint is i didnt like ilsa in the show she was too pushy and thought she knew wat to do which bothered id say thnk you for the new office but please let them do their wprk without any distractions

p.s. and ames alejandro is waiting for you in vegas

    peace out target fans

  138. Josh on February 13th, 2011 10:57 am

Please bring back Human Target for a 3rd season and maybe team it up with Fringe. I thought the Human Target and Fringe story lines and shows were much better this season than some of your bigger hit shows such as House and definitely better than Bones. Maybe team them up on a Wednesday or Thursday night.

  139. bill norris on February 13th, 2011 11:45 am

Love the show! Loved the comicbook miniseries you brought out about the show as well! If FOX reads these, i hope they see you have loyal fans who go outta their way to find you in the scheduling. And the idea of pairing you with FRINGE is an awesome idea i could really get behind. It would make fridays a destination night of tv viewing.

  140. ERNEST on February 13th, 2011 1:41 pm

Hopefully if Fox does cancel another network will pick it up.It is a great show .I hope to see it again.Hey Fox try and do what the people want this time.

  141. Marcie on February 13th, 2011 2:59 pm

Do not cancel this show! So many shows on tv are all mindless action. Human Target has both action and comedy, so rare for most action dramas. I love how the three main characters interact and Guerrero is the coolest character on tv!

  142. Cindy on February 13th, 2011 3:48 pm

One of the most entertaining shows on television. Loved Season One, Season Two was even better!!!!

Can’t wait for Season Three (with all of the Season Two cast . . . Indira Varma and Janet Montgomery were great additions – Guerrero has to be one of the best characters on TV, on par with Abby on NCIS – I hope Fox doesn’t screw up and cancel it.

  143. GUERRERO on February 13th, 2011 4:14 pm

This show is to good to NOT have a season three. We love Human Target so much in our family it will be such a big loss to not see this show again

  144. MKW on February 13th, 2011 8:42 pm

Put me down as a commited viewer for S3! Despite some of the far-fetched escape scenarios in S2 (yes, I do like a SMALL level of ‘clever plausability’ to my escapes!), this show is one of the best bits of ‘escapism’ on TV!
    JEH=BADASS FOREVER!

  145. Cynthia on February 13th, 2011 10:58 pm

Human Target is one of the BEST shows on TV as of late. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I beg you, to give it a season 3, but this time with 24 episodes. This show has earned it unlike some really stupid shows out there that are still airing for God knows why ie: Raising Hope. If only season 2 had 22-24 episodes, Fox would have seen a different level of Fan base. Please give the show a fair chance and not short change it. I loved everything about season 2. The addition of Ilsa and Ames was great. Took the show to a new dynamic and it was all good. Loved the development of Chance and Ilsa’s relationship. Indira Varma is an amazing actress, she is one classy lady and is perfect as Ilsa Pucci. Her and Chance on the surface are complete opposites, but within their core, they are very much alike in so many ways and hence the attraction between them. Thank you for such a amazing show. To all the fans, if you want to make an impact in saving the show, we need to write and mail Fox a letter/postcard because that makes the most impact:

To Matt Miller: can’t wait to see the further development between Chance and Ilsa’s relationship. Chance is a tough guy, it would be refreshing to see him in a different light with Ilsa away from everyone’s eyes. He has a tender side when it comes to her and it’s slowly showing. I like the fact that Ilsa is like the female version of Winston. The new dynamic of the show is great. Loved the way the season 2 finale paid homage to the season 2 premiere. Chance meets Ilsa and sees something strong and impressive about her. He presumed alot of things about her that he later learned he was wrong. By the finale, we get to see all that again, I get that. She on the surface may seem aloof, cold, snobby, but Chance now sees her differently. They’ve been thru alot together. It would be hard not to have the connection they do… Cannot wait to see where this relationship takes us.

By the way Human Target has a LARGE following on Facebook…………………..

  151. Miguel on February 14th, 2011 5:29 pm

Season 1 is an instant classic.
Season 2 a little messy but still interesting. I just feel inconfortable seeing Chance and not hearing his theme, or Winston or Baptiste….
McCrearyΒ΄s music was 40-50% of the show..Bring Him Back.
Give the show to Steinberg again.

IΒ΄m watching season 2 but i wonΒ΄t buy the Blue-Ray as IΒ΄ve done in a blimk with season 1…. the 2 new characters doesnΒ΄t seem to work either, but Valley, McBride and Haley are still amazing! Emma Barnes or Katherine Walters (she really died without really seeing it?) would be good additions (also Lyla from Lockdown).

  152. Michael on February 14th, 2011 5:47 pm

  154. Tony on February 15th, 2011 12:06 am

Dear Fox, Please don’t cancel the best show on TV. You sincerely tried to screw this program by moving it 15 times during the season. No matter, I tracked it down like I was Guerrero in the Eldo. I understand that money is what makes your world go around, but try giving the show a consistent day and time and you’ll see that Human Target fans will make you money. The combination of wit, comedic presence, timing, action, sex appeal, and just great writing make this show a homerun. I promise, I won’t miss a single episode!

  155. Mary on February 15th, 2011 5:08 pm

Please don’t cancel this show…We love it in my house, parents & teenagers alike…Please find a spot for it and quit moving it all around. I think Fox will be happy with the fans it will attract, if people can find it!!!!

  157. Peter on February 16th, 2011 9:14 am

We have been recommending this show to everyone. It is our favorite show of the week. We try to pick a show to watch together every fall. We started with 24 and never missed a show through all those seasons. We absolutely love the characters and bringing the two girls on was perfect– they are adorable. We followed Chi McBride from”Boston Public”. Guerro adds so much to the show with his “DUDE”. Mark Valley is perfect for the part of Christopher Chance. The show is so entertaining and like “24”, you just get caught up in it–what a pleasant change from the stupid reality shows!

  158. Naomi on February 16th, 2011 12:49 pm

Please don’t cancel the job, each star brings their own personality to the show. It is one of the best shows produced lately. It is funny, suspenful and very good storyline.

  160. Roy Lindsey on February 16th, 2011 2:28 pm

Human Target is the BEST! All the actors are top notch and extremely believable. I think the audience can really connect with them. Chance isn’t a dare-devil he’s a man trying to do the right thing by has irreversible past. Winston is an ex-cop that knows there’s a better way to achieve justice. Ilsa, funds the efforts of Chances team to go after anyone that would do to others what had been done to her by using the money left to her by her late husband who was murdered. Ames, what can I say, shes sexy, but most importantly she has street savvy and she knows how to get out of a tight spot when she needs to. Rounding out the group is Guerrero. This is one bad dude. You need to disappear, you need to get in some place heavily guarded or maybe you have a sophisticated code that needs breaking, this is your man. But a word to the wise don’t cross him or you’ll need to find that hole at the ends of the earth to go hide in, but even that wouldn’t keep you safe for long. Human Target has to be back next season because it’s one of only a few good shows still on television. If it doesn’t come back I can only say what Guerrero would say, “Dude, that is totally not cool.”

  161. larscar on February 16th, 2011 7:08 pm

Please keep this show… my wife and I do not watch much television due to poor programming (no, we’re not seniors), but do enjoy the action and light-heartedness here. It’s one of those rare shows that will draw in an audience and keep you there. The fact that we were one of those fans who ‘found’ the show when y’all were bouncing it around the universe is a good testament; also, the fact I found this comment site wondering where the hell the show was, here on a Wednesday night where I won’t be watching Fox with the Idle tweenies.

  162. DebG on February 16th, 2011 7:46 pm

I really enjoy this show. I really like the chemistry between the characters, and enjoy Mark Valley. If I miss an episode, I watch it online.

I’ll take Guererro any day of the week!! I will even pay to watch it if need be!!! The character line is perfect, and I was glad to see Elsa come aboard! Get her and Chance together at some point!!!

Please have a season 3 of Human Target!!!!! I have watched this show since the begining. I love the show and REALLY WANT ANOTHER SEASON! This program is my favorite by far. I never miss an episode and have orderd the 1st season on DVD. When the 2nd season is available I will buy that too. The chemistry between the charters is great. The idea to bring Elsa on board was exceptional!! She brings a different type of personality to the show and I would really like to see Elsa and Chance get together.
    So PLEASE HAVE A SEASON 3!!! (and 4 & 5 too)

  167. Cynthia on February 17th, 2011 8:08 pm

I have a tendency of watching a lot of shows. One of the differences that I love about this show, is that it’s not as predictable as all the others, it keeps me guessing, and that is a hard thing for a show to do to me. The realistic action scenes is great, The vibe we get from the team, (even with the insertion of Ilsa and Ames) is great. The show is fresh and appealing. I do wish and hope that it returns for many seasons to come. It is not repetitive like Fringe, the mentalist, chuck, castle and Lie to me nor as predictable. All this to say, please let our minds be well entertained for many more years to come.

  168. Sylvia on February 17th, 2011 11:03 pm

Please, please, please give us a Season 3 (and 4, 5, 6, 7, ….). My husband and I LOVE this show. We have watched it from day one and even though we had to hunt it down, have watched every episode. I agree with everyone’s comments. This show is so fresh and exciting; well-written; well-acted; everything a good drama should be. I can’t understand why there is even a question of picking it up for another season. I also love the addition of Ilsa and Ames. I just can’t say anything bad about the show. I certainly hope Fox is listening. I could do without Lie to Me – just keep Human Target. PLEASE!!!!!

    Its fun, exciting, unpredictable.

It’s the best TV show i’ve seen yet. ( And i’ve seen alot )
I already ordered the first season, and when second is out ill get that one aswell.

So keep Human Target running πŸ˜€

  171. Donna A. :-) on February 18th, 2011 1:35 pm

Please, please, please keep Human Target on the air, and bring it back for a Season Three and beyond! The new focus this Season on the characters has been great – love knowing some of the back-stories of Chance, Guerrero, Winston, Ilsa and even Ames. Although I would love to see more with the Old Man, Baptise and Barnes…

I have been a VERY Loyal viewer of this wonderful show since the beginning of Season One. I would say that I’m actually a true fanatic about this wonderful series! It reminds me of the GREAT action series I loved in the 1980’s like A-Team, MacGyver, Six Million Dollar Man, Wild, Wild West… the list continues.

Not only do I watch each and every episode I can when it airs – even with the multiple re-scheduling we’ve had to work with – but I also re-watch the episodes online during my lunch break at work, and I’ve gotten several office buddies hooked! I’ve even downloaded photos of the episodes and put together my own Human Target screen saver slide show for my work and home computers.

I have the Season One DVD set, which I preordered on Amazon.com BEFORE Season One was even finished, and I’ve also re-watched each Season One episode many, many times. I’m surprised that I haven’t worn out the DVDs yet. I’m already on Amazon’s list to receive a notification when I can pre-order Season Two’s DVD set.

I ravenously search, download and/or watch any Human Target related YouTube videos I can find – you name it – Sneak Peeks, Cast interviews, Fanvids, online entertainment clips, ComicCon 2009 – 2010 clips etc. I belong to SEVERAL online Blogs and Fan sites dedicated to Human Target. I’ve collected and bought tons of ComicCon, WB and FOX related, and promo Human Target items as well – ComicCon big bags, magazines with cast write-ups and Human Target series news, cast autographed photos, etc. – I haven’t been as into a TV Show like this in a long, long time!

I believe with the continued, and even expanded backing, Human Target could have just as big a following as 24 or other great shows. All you need to do is give it a better chance – maybe more episodes in a season to get it out there longer, and keep it at one slot, not move it around so much that it gets lost in the shuffle. I believe the Wednesday 8/7c time slot has worked the best.

I believe these series will only get better and better if you give it a chance to have the characters grow on us. You already have a great start with Guerrero’s budding β€œfamily man” story and the other interactions with Winston, Chance, Ilsa, and Ames. The Season Finale still left me wanting more.

So, please, please, please keep Human Target on your TV lineup for the 2011 Fall Season and beyond! It might also be a great idea to add some Human Target items to the FOX Store, such as T-Shirts, Mugs, Mouse pads, Playing Cards, etc.

There REALLY, REALLY are a lot of Fans of this show out here. Please keep Human Target on the air and continue to expand the series …

  172. Miaurry Pazarack on February 18th, 2011 2:22 pm

Hands down my wife and mine favorite show on TV. We never miss an episode, even when they move the show around. Hope there are MANY more seasons of this series as we want to buy a large box set.

And my two cants are the addition of Ames and Pucci have really helped gel this cast into a fine line up with real chemistry. WE love the interchange of all the current personalities. Don’t change anything!

    -M. Pazarack

  173. M. Halla on February 18th, 2011 3:43 pm

I would love to see this show brought back for a third season. The actors are phenomenal (although if you want to drop Ames, that is okay) and the relationships between the characters make it more than your typical “action show.” (One of favorite scenes is still watching Guerrero shot the guy in the back after turning over the file on Chance). Very atypical of today’s action genre.

  174. Doozle on February 18th, 2011 7:08 pm

What can I say that hasn’t already been said? I like the show a lot, I think it has great potential if its renewed. The show has proven itself worthy by not tanking ratings wise due to all the scheduling issues it endured this past season. Please renew this show for next season and make a concerted effort to find a safe spot for it to stay during its airing. The show is good enough to deserve it. We the fans support it happily but its up to FOX to find a safe place for it to be. Human Target is worth your time and effort to accommodate. Please renew Human Target for a 3rd season, it will make you proud!

Love this show! Loved the last episode — UNTIL Pucci decided to stay. Blecch. Get rid of her; those two have no chemistry whatsoever and it kills what is otherwise excellent. Guerrero is one of the BEST characters to come along in a very long time. His scene in the finale where he was walking away from the burning car was great!

  176. ambariish uchiha on February 20th, 2011 7:23 am

Human Target has this concept that most other TV series fail to bring. The acting ,the dialogs are great and things don’t get really predictable. FOX must definitely renew season 3 for the fans to know more about Guerrero’s past.

  177. Xussiht on February 20th, 2011 8:44 am

I would really like to se a season three! Excellent serie!

  178. Jacque Sheehan on February 20th, 2011 11:34 am

LOVE HUMAN TARGET. It’s one of my favorite shows with great characters, story lines and dry wit. It truly deserves a Third Season. I have recommended the show to many people who feel the same. It’s developed a loyal following which I’m sure will be increased next season.

  179. April Rowell on February 20th, 2011 3:10 pm

Fox. Do not cancel “Human Target”, please!! It is the best thing to hit TV in a very long time. Please! Please! Please!

  180. Cynthia on February 20th, 2011 9:57 pm

Love ILSA, she’s the reason I watch the show!

  181. EMT on February 21st, 2011 12:04 am

Human Target is an awesome show. When they were moving it around, I was searching my guide to find it. Human Target and Fringe are the only shows I look forward to watching every week.

PLEASE BRING IT BACK FOR SEASON THREE!!!!!

I love the addition of the new characters, but they need to give Ames a little more brain power. Currently she seems too dimwitted to be an integral part of the team.

  182. Sylvia on February 21st, 2011 4:02 pm

Please do not cancel Human Target. My family and I love that show. After LOST ended, I didn’t think I could enjoy watching another show and then Human Target premiered and I absolutely love it.

  183. Vicki on February 21st, 2011 6:10 pm

Please do not cancel this show. I was so disappointed that it was over for the season. Now that 24 is gone, there is nothing comparable except Human Target. I am not usually a big fan of action shows but the cast and the quality of this production is amazing and the writing is great. I love all of the characters, the assassin turned superhero theme, the humor and the danger…perfect show for men and women. Take off House if you have to..it’s become the same old story every week anyway…. and replace it with HT…just please, please, please do not cancel this show.

  184. Bexa on February 21st, 2011 8:07 pm

I love this show; both seasons of it. It took me a couple of episodes to warm up to Ilsa, but I definitely think she adds an interesting angle to the show. i’m still warming up to Ames.

This show DESERVES a third season, a commited 3rd season. There are so many reasons why Human Target deserves a third season.

I also follow fringe, and as much as love fringe, if you’ve never seen it and you just jump into it, you’ll have absolutley no idea what is going on. Human Target has a background story, but it’s not enough to confuse the viewer. It’s easy to follow without the back story.

As long as the action keeps happening, then I have no problem with any romantic storyline writers want to add it. I just don’t want it to take away from what’s already there.

    PLEASE DON’T CANCEL THIS SHOW!

  185. Chris on February 22nd, 2011 2:53 pm

People i love this show as well, maybe if fox doesn’t renew it we can get them to put it on fx . I think its popularity would grow even more next to a show like Justified.

  186. jay on February 23rd, 2011 3:16 am

i think we all should chip in for a real Baptiste and have him assassinate all the fuckwits at FOX LOL

  187. Chris on February 23rd, 2011 11:16 am

DO NOT CANCEL THIS SHOW ONE OF THE BEST ON TV….

  188. Jennifer on February 23rd, 2011 6:11 pm

Give us a third season!!!!!!! I love the connection between Mark and Ilsa.

  189. Francis on February 23rd, 2011 10:10 pm

The only must see show on my list and the show that got me back to watching TV. Please keep up the good work and give us a season 3!

  190. Cammy on February 24th, 2011 12:17 am

Great show and excellent cast dynamics. Keep it.

From a 66 year old woman and her 70 year old hubby

  191. Mark on February 24th, 2011 9:21 am

They had better not cancel this show. My favorite on TV right now. The acting is superb! The writers do a great job of making each episode feel fresh and exciting. Nothing bland or boring about this show. Fox had better realize we want Season 3. BRING IT!

  192. Shu on February 24th, 2011 10:24 pm

please give us a new season, full season will be even better. we love the show.

  193. Cynthia on February 24th, 2011 10:50 pm

Sniff, sniff, I have Human Target withdrawal.

This is to all the Fox Execs:

“Bring it back, bring it back. Don’t take it away from us, because you don’t know… what it means to us.”

  194. JT on February 25th, 2011 4:23 pm

Human Target is a great show! Great story lines, great cast, great interpersonal chemistry! FOX needs to keep “smart” shows on the air–and this is one of them!

  195. thomas on February 25th, 2011 6:17 pm

Its a good show, if it gets cancelled its going to be because of all the x slot bouncing around and PR neglect. It looks great and people of all ages like it. How do they expect to make a decision on the shows fate considering how the odds have been stacked against it…and it still does ok. Why not give it a fair Chance? How can anyone expect it to find its groove after this, historically it can take a few seasons for a show to settle in, which makes sense considering all of the material out there. People like this show. If the Producers want a Home Run may I suggest a show about baseball, if they want to develop an audience then this is a great platform. Do the right thing. thomas

  196. JC on February 25th, 2011 9:48 pm

I have not seen something this good – fun/action packed/touch of romance/adventure and a great chemistry among the lead characters in a long but long time. A third season should be a must. Mark Valley does a terrific job…well, all of them do.
    Go HUMAN TARGET Go!!!!!!!!

  197. london on February 26th, 2011 9:50 am

    please do a 3rd season!!!!!!!

  198. Irene Scalise on February 26th, 2011 1:08 pm

LOVE THIS SHOW!!! Fox….please renew this show!!! It is one of the best shows on the air and honestly I am going through HT withdrawl with the season ending! With all the crap currently on television, this is a smartly written, wonderfully acted ensemble of people who each bring their own quirkiness to their characters. I am not one for action type shows but I am sooo hooked on this show…I just love the concept, the execution (pardon the pun) and the writing and acting is superb. No matter when it is on, I will find it. And by the way…I am a 57 year old female…not the demographic that is probably the target audience, but I am hooked!!! DO NOT CANCEL THIS SHOW…PLEASE!

  199. MissLCB on February 26th, 2011 2:44 pm

I really hope this show is renewed! I’ve got some friends into it. It’s popular even in England and just plain rocks! Guerrero is such a good character and steals every scene. But the show works as a whole, I hope there is more to come!!! This show is SO good, keeps you interested all the way and just gets better and better. I really hope that it’s allowed to keep getting better!!!

  200. Lynn on February 26th, 2011 11:16 pm

You should also check out what people are saying about Human Target on Facebook. Lot of fans post there. Thanks. I love the show!

  201. susan on February 27th, 2011 9:11 am

Love this show, please – PLEASE – give it a third season.

Please kill off Ilsa and bring back the flirtiness of Season One. What happened to the FBI Agent? He had more chemistry with her than he has with Ilsa but frankly he is better off unattached for now. Wouldn’t it be cool if Katherine actually wasn’t on that boat and has been held by the Old Man as a way to eventually get even or get “Junior” back?

We need Season Three so the Guerrero storyline can be told – Jackie Earle Haley is the best actor on tv today, this is a great character.

PLEASE FOX DON’T MAKE ANOTHER FIREFLY MISTAKE

  202. steph on February 27th, 2011 11:18 am

Please please please don’t cancel it, I love Human Target! Perfect combination of action and humor, and amazing characters/actors, I just love all of them… It’s so hard to find such a good show these days (in between all that reality tv crap), they really deserve a third season!!!

  203. neal mulligan on February 27th, 2011 1:08 pm

Human target is up there with best. Their problem is they are on a station that for some reason dosen’t care about them. How do you build an audience when you start a show in the middle of a season, viewers are already into shows that started in September. Then to make it more interesting they aired the show on different nights and sometimes with a 2 week break between episodes. If Fox cared about this show they would give it to USA or a major station that would do it justice.

  204. sara on February 27th, 2011 7:01 pm

Human Target is an amazing show — well written, fantastic dialogues, great action and humor, fabulous cast, and wonderful chemistry. Anyone who has watched this show, loves it — problem is not many people have ever caught an episode of it. It needs better advertising for sure. Mark Valley and his crew should be brought back for another season —

  205. Aaron on February 27th, 2011 9:45 pm

    1) on the music front – changing composers, in general, was the mistake. not just changing the theme song. Tim’s music, while perfectly lovely in and of itself, detracted from the overall character of the show – Bear’s music was epic, sweeping and romantic. it ALWAYS added to the story. This season’s music didn’t do anything to me one way or another. I could have taken it or left it.

    2) I’m annoyed by the Ilsa / Chance love connection. The connection is weak because she has been so obsessed with her husband since day 1 that for her to just fall into Chance’s arms seems SO easy. And part of the appeal of Chance’s story is that he’s always available to whatever amazingly complex woman he may come across. Then again, he’s never available because he’s got demons out the wazoo. You threw away that entire concept when he just let her kiss him because “she’s an amazing woman.” Too easy. Too simple, too neat.

    3) In the last 2 episodes, where did the damn action go??!?! There wasn’t a decent fight to be found! One of my favorite parts of the series so far was the amazing fight choreography. It’s dirty, skilled and exciting. To sum up, this show thrives on it’s badassery. Don’t skimp on the baddassery. Ever.

I was disappointed in the changes this season. But this amazing cast (I’d take the hot thief chick over Ilsa ANY day) deserves another season to find their footing. You have a fantastic property here. Don’t F it up. πŸ™‚

  206. Brad on February 27th, 2011 11:55 pm

Human Target is the best show on television. I love it, especially season 2. I think it is one of the 2 best shows since the original Star Trek.

I Love, Love, Love the show! Please don’t cancel. Human Target has the best action sequences on T. V. I need one of those ratings boxes so that my favorite shows stop being cancelled. HUMAN TARGET IS AWESOME!!!

  211. Anyome on March 1st, 2011 4:48 pm

Oh my god!, how can fox give not a chance for an agreable episode, this show is a best of! i love this season, is better than: 24h chrono, prison break, Nikita….
I love human target, because we have a suspens.
I love wast my time to watching this season because it’ s better than all, it’ s the renewal of the famous film of James Bond (007). Human Target is better than.
Human Target, i give all my heart to look a renewal episodes.
and, if is it, surprise me and all the watcher, in the second season.
And if FOX canceled this season, it’ s a evidence than FOX is a stupid Channel & Studio and i don’t gonna to look this fucking channel anymore!

  212. Ray on March 1st, 2011 5:22 pm

It hasn’t and it wouldn’t matter what time or what day to move HUMAN TARGET to… we WILL find it and we WILL watch it. “Find the Human Target?” Matt Miller muses… no problem. You can run, but you can’t hide!

The numbers you should be looking at are the numbers showing up at the top of the comments sections in these blogs. Read the comments. Watch the show.

You’ve got real talent here in programs like Human Target. Talent on screen and off screen. What talent is there to reality shows? All that stuff is ego and nothing of substance or value.

HUMAN TARGET DESERVES A SEASON 3 and 4 and 5 and…. Do the right thing!!!

  213. dispokid on March 2nd, 2011 9:09 am

loved the show, tired of it moving around. would love to see more shows like this and a lot less lame assed reality shows, I haven’t watched idol much, maybe a total of 10 episodes in all its hundred seasons, and cant even begin to fathom how it’s still on the air, much less spawning a reality show epidemic. Anything that seems to have promise, or be entertaining, I have come to expect it being canceled and a reality show in its time slot. But, a show like idol can be slated for renewal 5 years in advance, great. I think that more time should be slated on a show before it faces cancellation, give people a chance to find and watch it, and develop a fan base. But, that would also mean that we wouldn’t have 13 episode seasons anymore. oh no! what will we do with 20 or so? My family will watch it if it gets renewed, and we can find it while it plays musical time slots.

  214. Mary Craggs on March 2nd, 2011 4:39 pm

Love the show and all cast members. One of two shows on TV that I planned to watch each week. Hope it get renued for a 3rd season. Am writing a snale mail to FOX in hopes some one will listen to the kind of viewer that does not like reality TV just a good action packed show about good people trying to do good things.

  215. Dawn Ruhl on March 3rd, 2011 7:31 pm

I felt that Matt was wasting his talent on Boston Legal and imagined him in this kind of role. I was thrilled and amazed to see Human Target and love the entire cast. I do hope it has at least quite a few seasons my friends and me to enjoy. Human Target is great TV. It is a show I make a point to be home for whenever it is on.

  216. Rob Danough on March 4th, 2011 11:09 pm

I jumped on the bandwagon late, but now I’m caught up and praying for a third season. This show is the best! The characters are great,Guerrero is especially cool. I would like to hear more of his story in future episodes. My family will be looking for this to come back.

  217. Cheree Williams on March 5th, 2011 2:47 am

I love this show! It is nice to see Mark Valley and Chi McBride on the TV again, not to mention they are great together! I TIVO this show and watch it religiously! I will pray that FOX renews the best show on prime-time network TV. Fox would be making a huge mistake if they didn’t. Human Target is funny, action packed, and keeps you on your toes–everything a phenomenal show ought to do! The writers and actors of this show are genius. I would pick this show over American Idol any day, and I have been watching Idol since the first show aired…

  218. Yevgen on March 5th, 2011 8:50 am

Are you hoping for a third season of HUMAN TARGET? What a strange question… Sure I do! One of my favorites this year! Yeah, beginning wasn’t promising from my point of view but continuation put everything in order. So BRING IT BACK!!!

  219. Becky on March 5th, 2011 7:04 pm

I love “Human Target” !!!!! My family loves it too. We were just talking about when the new episodes would be back and hope that it is not cancelled. We are already going through withdrawals and watching the rerun of our taped episodes.
It seems the best shows are sometimes cancelled before they can really take off and it is usually the networks fault for moving them around. I now have DVR and have set it to capture it whatever night it is on :0) That way I’m sure to get a chance to watch it. I hope it is renewed for a 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th ………. and more seasons !!!! The ENTIRE cast is AWESOME !!!!!
    Please bring it back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  220. nick on March 6th, 2011 6:29 am

i do love this show and ur right you put a well mixed theme through out the show, little comedy, little romance, some action. etc. plus if fox denies ur show a third season, if you own the rights, pitch the show to usa, i think you would find a greater fan base, because they great similarites of other usa shows, like burn notice, and psych, i think their fan base would enjoy your show and ud fit right in.

  236. Brian on March 16th, 2011 1:42 pm

I agree with Christa..give Human Target another night away from American Idol..i do not watch that show and don’t think it’s good for Human Target to be on at 10pm.

Human Target deserves a Third Season after performing so well all this season with the way it was tossed around and the viewers had to hunt for it…total garbage..Wake Up FOX! RENEW HUMAN TARGET for Season 3!
    It’s a GREAT show!

  237. JCS in SATX on March 16th, 2011 9:00 pm

Yes, Fox please renew for a third season – I love these characters! But Matt, *when* we get our third season, please ditch the new theme and go back to the old one!

  238. Ric on March 16th, 2011 10:11 pm

I was hooked on Human Target from the pilot. What I liked about Season 2 was giving Chance & Co. the financial backng to procure the necessary equipment and transportation, which removed the tired “we can’t afford that” conversations and opened up the storytelling potential. For Season 3 I’d like to see Chance engaged in more of the gritty lethal close combat fighting from the finale of the original pilot.

  239. Joe on March 18th, 2011 10:54 pm

The second season with the new cast is better than the first season. You now can care about the characters and that makes it more interesting than just an action show. I really would like to see more episodes. Matt I think you were really being nice about Fox. I feel they did not really try to make the show a success. It was nice though to read the show’s fans followed it all around to different time slots. Here’s crossing my fingers there will be third season and Fox will put some effort into placing it in a good time slot and promoting it.

  240. Jennifer G. on March 18th, 2011 11:22 pm

This is a great show. FOX you need to nurture this show and give it a season three. HT target really hit its stride at mid season 2. Loved the season 2 opener & finale. The ENTIRE cast is wonderful. Really like the addition of the ladies to the cast. Brings a whole new dynamic to the characters & story lines. There is still so much story to be told in Human Target. Please bring it back for season three. Already purchased season two video on demand at Amazon, can’t wait for the DVD to come out. FOX, the viewers will follow this show to any night of the week. That should you tell you something… its a winner!!…keep it on the air…..make room for it in your schedule. No more IDOL or stupid cartoons please. We want more Human Target.

  241. Kevin on March 20th, 2011 10:16 pm

This is a great….GREAT show! I watch it with my wife and my teenage son and it reminds me of the some of the great shows that I grew up with… (magnum??) but with a new age twist on it..

Its not a 8 pm show to put it up against some really popular sitcoms. Maybe a 8pm friday night but more likely a 9pm thursday..

Doesnt matter to me because I DVR it anyways..

It was a SHORT difficult to keep up with(because of schedule changes) season 2

I would love to see this show run reruns all summer showing ALL episodes.. Once people watch it they will be on board..

And stick to basics… you got the characters.. stick to mission stories.. and stay away from all the character side stories..

  242. sue on March 21st, 2011 7:27 am

Please renew Human target for a 3rd season. This is the most exciting show on TV for all ages. I re-watch the episodes on Hulu and Amazon, and cant get enough!

Everything about season 2 was fantastic — story line, characters, —. the problem was it did not have a consistent airing schedule , and the season was sooo short.

Please give it a regular slot, show re-runs of season 2 in the summer, and advertise the show well.

    Sue

  243. Allan on March 23rd, 2011 11:51 am

I’m a full time electrical engineering student and I only have time for one indulgence during the week and it’s Human Target. I enjoy the action, the one liners, the wit, and the rapport the actors/characters have with one another. It’s a wonderful escapism from the unrelenting work and deadlines of school. By the way, I’m buying episodes via Amazon and plan to buy all eventually. Human Target helps me keep my sanity.

Please bring it back for a third, fourth, and fifth season.

  244. John on March 23rd, 2011 12:21 pm

I watch two shows: Human Target and Burn Notice. Period. Please renew HT. The writing is great and the chemistry amongst the actors works very well. I can watch Indira Varma and Janet Montgomery all day! Nice addition to the show.

  245. Anthony on March 23rd, 2011 11:38 pm

Human Target is one of the only shows I watch. I appreciate that it has remained family friendly and yet continues to offer some great writing, acting and chemistry with the actors. I really hope they will continue the story.

  246. ril on March 24th, 2011 10:39 am

There hasn’t been I show I looked forward to watch every week. Usually when you watch a series, any series, there has to be a few episodes you would dislike. With HT, I have not liked but loved every single show. And for it to get cancelled was very shocking. HT is probably one of the only shows I watch. The characters are awesome. Especially Guerrero. Who can’t like Guerrero? We wanted women, they added women. Overall, the show is GREAT. Every show I watch feels like I am watching a action packed movie. Please renew HT. TV is boring without HT.

  247. targetfan on March 24th, 2011 7:43 pm

KEEP HUMAN TARGET ON THE AIR!
One of the best action packed shows I’ve seen on television in a long time.
(Light years ahead of the other reality-crud shown on tv)

  248. Randy on March 24th, 2011 8:15 pm

Please please renew Human Target for a 3rd season.

Bring it back. Good program. Lots of action with a dash of humor, a great combination and cast!

  250. Andy on March 27th, 2011 2:52 am

Please renew Human Target for a 3rd season. It’s my favorite show that I never miss. Sat night with Fringe will be great.

  251. Tim Vance on March 27th, 2011 5:45 pm

What the F**K R the executives at the network thinking? Do not cancel this show(HUMAN TARGET)! We have enough crap on television, so much that it isn’t even worth having a television anymore. Human Target has it all and is great entertainment and they want to s**t can it. Enough with the reality garbage and the teeny bopper bull s**t. When my wife and I are ready to sit in front of the tube we want to be taken away from reality like television was meant for and to be entertained, that is why we pay such high rates to watch the damn thing. It seems like evrytime a well writen, well acted and well directed show comes to be it is suddenly sucked away in the void of stupid corporate bull s**t. We want HUMAN TARGET AND ALL THE ORIGINAL CHARACTERS BACK FOR F**KS SAKE!

  252. Mick on March 28th, 2011 12:00 pm

Hopefully TV execs do a better job predicting user demands than in the past. I love HT, and hope to see it in a 3rd season, and won’t miss an episode if they do. Love your character a lot Matt, but Gurerra (sp?) is still my fav :).

  253. Michael on March 29th, 2011 12:19 am

Best show ever……. You cancel Human Target I Cancel You!

  254. Renee on March 29th, 2011 10:29 am

At one time on Mondays showings, you were against “Chuck”. Not good, not good to do, however your wrtiting for Human Target is great as the text for each actor seems to fet them so well and makes then believeable. Love the show and enjoy the expanse of it and watch the show on my computer in the AM. Im dying to find season 2 on dvd……. I am dying for season 3.

  255. Gene DeFalco on March 29th, 2011 2:28 pm

Not that many good shows out there, don’t let this one slip away, Great cast and great story telling. I WANT SEASON 3 OF HUMAN TARGET!!!!!!!!

  256. Susette Spears on March 30th, 2011 11:49 am

I don’t even like watching TV now that this is off the air!! I sooooo looked forward to this show as I know many of my friends do too!! PLEASE PLEASE bring it back. It is a good, action-packed, clean, funny show – there is nothing on TV that compares and I now find myself flipping mindless through the channels hoping to catch a rerun of Human Target somewhere!!!! Please don’t disaapoint millions of people – BRING HUMAN TARGET BACK. I really don’t care what channel or what day, I will watch it!!!

  257. Larry Wert on March 30th, 2011 6:28 pm

We really like Human Target! We also like Lie to Me and Fringe. We used to like House but we think with the last three episodes that show has jumped the shark. Jack Earle Haley is really good as a hitman. On the other hand Ms. Pucci is just OK, she neither adds nor detracts from the show. American “Idle” should be on its own night along with Dancing with the has-beens & Politicians. Human Target followed by Fringe would steal a major share as would Lie to Me and Fringe. C’mon guys, quit the three-card-shuffle with the line up and leave the shows on their assigned nights. Enough with the Me-too shows, do we really need Podiatry with the Stars, Dental Hygeine with the Stars or Tax Returns of the Stars?

  258. Kaspars on March 31st, 2011 5:09 pm

    MOAARR Human Target !! πŸ™‚

  259. Audrey Meyers on April 1st, 2011 5:30 pm

“Human Target” is one of the few shows which my husband and I take time to watch together. It is right at the top of a very short list, right next to “House” & “Fringe.”

We are already looking forward to the next Season.

    Audrey & Bob

  260. Joan on April 1st, 2011 10:34 pm

The only show worth watching on FOX is Human Target. If Human Target gets canceled, my reaction is simple. I cancel FOX. Human Target is a one of a kind show. Each of the 5 characters is so different and yet they glue together extremely well to form one bang-up team that gets the job done in very creative ways. Each character is also very well acted. I love the witty, tongue in cheek humor. I never know what to expect each episode and each episode is a story unto its own. I have not been bored for one second while watching the show. Give the show a chance to grow. It has the potential to get better and better. Find out and see. Don’t screw around with its schedule this season. Doing so in season 2 was a major mistake. FOX didn’t give the show much of a chance in season 2 by changing its air dates frequently. FOX, do the viewers a favor and don’t cancel Human Target. Got the message!

  261. Jennifer G. on April 1st, 2011 11:27 pm

Please bring Human Target back for season three. Really enjoyed season two and the addition of the females characters (Ilsa & Ames) to the show. This is a show that appeals to a wide audience. It has something for everyone. I love the combination of Mission Impossible, MacGuyver & Jason Bourne. Keeps your attention for the entire program. You don’t want to leave the room or you’ll miss something. The season came to an end way too fast. It was just starting to get good. We need more episodes. There are still so many unanswered questions about the characters. Please don’t leave the fans out in the cold. Renew, Renew, Renew for season three.

  262. debi on April 4th, 2011 10:23 am

  263. Heather Sims on April 6th, 2011 11:46 am

My 11 year-old daughter and I LOVE Human Target! I dvr’ed it since I couldn’t keep track of when it was airing, and we just got caught up on season 2 and are really hoping for a season 3. I watched a little half heartedly season 1, but LOVE the changes for season 2. Ilsa and Aames and are great additions. Keep it going!! p.s. I also love Fringe.

  264. Kat S. on April 7th, 2011 7:39 pm

I love Human Target and I am so looking forward to being able watch it during my first year in college and getting all my roommates addicted to the show, too.
I love the characters and there really aren’t many good action shows on of this quality. PLEASE let there be a third season of Human Target!!! Unless I am dead, I will watch it! Seriously, I am a loyal fan who will be very disappointed if this worthy show gets canceled. If Fox wants more people to watch it, then they just need to advertise better for it, because it can take care of itself from there!

  265. gwen on April 9th, 2011 7:55 pm

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!…Keep Human Target…I love this show..action, drama, comedy, what more could you ask for

  266. S T on April 10th, 2011 7:46 pm

Matt miller did a great job with season 2. Hope the show gets another season. It has everything going for it — great actors, writing, action, drama, comedy, and romance. You have to watch each episode many times to get all the great moments in it. FOX, this show is a winner — if you try not to destroy it. Season 3 please — or move to TNT or USA.

  267. ogregunner on April 11th, 2011 1:34 pm

    Please don’t end the show!
But I think you should get grittier, and less with the “will they/won’t they with Ilsa”. This false conflict just detracts from the adventure. These are decisive people. Let them have a real relationship. Our military if full of bad-asses with families if you need examples πŸ™‚
Otherwise let Ilsa fade back to more like a “Charlie” character from Charlie’s Angels.
Let Chance and Guerro be bad-asses again.
Ames is also a tad annoying. Either let her start becoming an bad-ass apprentice to Guerro, or fade her out.

  268. Herman on April 13th, 2011 3:22 pm

PLEASE do not cancel Human Target…..GREAT show…..LOVE the characters….. I do not understand why FOX tends to do that….but please don’t take Human Target away!!! Can’t wait for season 3!

  269. Sylvain Picard on April 13th, 2011 9:27 pm

I have 2 things to say:

    1) PLEASE renew the show for a third season, and KEEP renewing it after that. Human Target is my absolute FAVORITE show on T.V right now. The only show that really compared to it was 24, which ended last year.

    2) Please don’t move it to Fridays… it will have to compete with Smallville or Supernatural on the CW for audience, and that will just negatively effect both sides. Keep it on Wednesdays where you already have a large, faithful audience.

  270. Brianna R. on April 13th, 2011 11:29 pm

I really would love to see this show renewed, but I hope that it keeps the same essence that it did in the season finale. I felt like through the second season, they were mimicking action movies (the most prominent was Mrs and Mrs. Smith in an episode that I can’t remember the name of XD ). There was also a bit too much of a “campy” feel. I noticed situations in season two where everyone was okay, where in season one, nameless background people number 3, 4, and 5 would be dying left and right. I also noticed Guerrero’s hair is…a bit less natural-looking than it was last season and his character made a big jump. (I REALLY miss “creepy-yet-silently-murderous-tech-guy”) I also wanted his first act of “true” violence to be more of a “Surprise! He’s not just a possible serial murderer/cannibal/puppy kicker! He totally kicks ass!” kind of thing, but that’s just my opinion…

  271. shannon on April 16th, 2011 2:26 pm

I was late to see the show, then went online to catch up. It is really great, well written, plots twists, etc….I hope it comes back, it would be a shame to lose it…..especially to some lame reality or game show.

  272. ryan on April 16th, 2011 8:25 pm

This is BY FAR the BEST SHOW I’ve seen. EVER. If this gets cancelled I’d be very disappointed. I’ve watched shows like Burn Notice, NCIS, Fringe, etc. They’re great, but Human Target is better. The characters have the best personalities (gotta love Guerrero’s sense of humor!) and fit together as the perfect team. Please do not cancel this show!

  273. Thomas on April 17th, 2011 10:47 am

Pretty much have given up on watching the Fox network playing music chairs with time slots and past cancellation on good entertainment.I love the show, writers and cast! I for one would like to see a 3rd or more season renewal. But seeing how the network handled programing last season,This thoroughbred will most likely be put down!

  274. Pat Brown on April 18th, 2011 12:40 pm

I love Human Target. I have watched it since the very 1st show and will not miss any of the episodes. My whole family loves it too. We all sit around and watch it together. I think all of the charters work well together. I am soooooooo tired of networks canceling really great shows after 1st or 2nd season. So PLEASE, PLEASE DON’T CANCEL THIS SHOW. HUMAN TARGET 3RD SEASON!!!

  275. tedmiami on April 19th, 2011 3:39 am

Human Target is a great show with a group of characters that play so well off each other.Guerrero (Jackie Earle Haley) is a wonderful character, an enigma, he could almost have a show of his own. As a team they work well, and as a TV show it is fun and dramatic, making us laugh at one moment and then filling the screen with dead bodies the next, generally in comic-book style violence so that it isn’t realistic. Also it will be nice to see how the relationships between Ames and Guerrero (that just has to happen) and Mrs Pucci and Chance pan out. I sure hope the show goes on for a 3rd and even 4th season.
    Fingers crossed.

  276. Jeanne on April 20th, 2011 4:39 pm

I love Human Target… my favorite program… such a fun program to watch… laughs, excitement, intrigue… characters are great and all compliment each other. I will be more than sorry if there isn’t a third season!

  277. Sandy McVicar on April 21st, 2011 2:24 am

Please bring back Human Target. It’s one of those shows that our family is sure to DVR every week so we don’t miss it. Many of our friends are huge fans also.

  278. Karyn on April 22nd, 2011 4:24 am

hUMAN TARGET…must stay on the air. It is such a different and interesting show. Love Mark Valley and then entire cast. Shifting it around to so many nights and different time slots was horrific…but the fans found it as best they could. It was the highlight of my TV watching week. Can’t the network see this. Don’t just watch the numbers and making money…think of the future, keeping it on a regular time slot…and then think of ALL the money you will make. Sadly it all comes down to money. This is a money show if you give it a change. It is a very unusual show…lots of action, drama, comedy (great lines here), and a wonderful cast. What more could any TV viewer want!!!! Come on…give it a chance (pun intended).

  279. BEAR on April 22nd, 2011 2:47 pm

I told my wife that this show ( human Target) won’t last, its clean compared with most series these days. it’s funny, creative, innovative, and not for consumtion by the general public. I felt the ones watching this show is more of a nich market, a vanishing breed, a portent for the future of this show. I hope that fox doesn’t cancel, but that would require more sex, blood and raunchy dialog. Then they might as well cancel, they killed it anyway.

  282. Ruthias on April 25th, 2011 1:55 am

I hope you keep the show human target. The stories are improving , & the whole cast are great on the show . Please find the right day & time & I think your fans will stay with you. Perhaps ask the fans to vote what day & time they would like to see the show.

  284. Allan on April 26th, 2011 2:20 pm

    Dear FOX,

Please keep Human Target going for season 3 and so on. This show has a great cast, the characters keep it exciting not to mention the stories are well done and keep the viewer wanting more, I must say this show is so good the hour wizzes by. I have every episode recorded and have watched the frist season again not long ago.

The fans love this program and for someone who is not at all into the reality shows this is a nice program to watch. There has not been a show like this in years that makes me want to make sure I don’t have anything planned for the night it is on.
cheers from a huge fan of HT

  285. Pete on April 27th, 2011 9:57 am

I have never added my 2 cents to one of these commentary spots pretty much because I didn’t think it would even be worth that (i.e. 2 cents). Still, if it makes a difference, here it is . . . Human Target not only deserves a third season, Fox owes them a third season. In spite of the repeated scheduling debacle that the show was subjected to, it not only survived but grew in following. Show me another show with this capability.
It was like getting a two hour James Bond movie condensed into a one hour program on a weekly basis – how cool is that? I can list a good number of shows that should go long before this one should. I hope FOX makes the right decision and keeps Human Target. It’s too good to drop – period.

  286. Maureen on April 28th, 2011 5:11 pm

PLEASE, please….we NEED season 3 of HUMAN TARGET…..best show on the air, even if you are trying to make it hard to find….we WILL find it ….BEST SHOW ever!!!! Please…..keep it on…..I will never watch FOX again, if you do not renew! How can HUMAN TARGET fans start a petition to keep this show on the air? I’ll be the first to sign…..

  287. Maureen on April 28th, 2011 5:12 pm

KEEP THIS FANTASTIC SHOW ON THE AIR…..PLEASE…..WE LOVE THIS SHOW.

  288. Edward Neumann on April 29th, 2011 10:47 am

Please fight to keep this show on air. I have enjoyed all of the episodes, and the last 4-5 have really grown on me. The characters are developing well and the scripts are becoming mor sophisticated. GOOD LUCK.

After Terriers was canceled and The Good Guys is likely to be, My ONLY reason for watching TV at all has been Human Target and Fringe.

Come on FOX, restore my confidence in TV programming, Please bring back Human Target for a 3rd season. It’s a great show and everyone I know (Web and R/L) watches it. Please, please not another cop show where they cut up dead bodies!!

  293. lIz on May 3rd, 2011 6:35 pm

  294. r on May 4th, 2011 4:07 pm

I first watched Human Target ‘for something to watch’ one night during its first season; the next week couldn’t find it or remember its name (it wasn’t on!) I got my husband to watch & we’ve been fans ever since. We are both looking forward to its 3rd season. Hopefully FOX knows & respects its fanbase’s opinions!!

  295. Wayne on May 5th, 2011 12:50 pm

I feel that Human Target and Lie to Me are the two best shows that Fox has put out in awhile. It’s intelligent, witty, sophisticated, well acted, well written, etc. etc. It’s a shame that Fox can’t see that. Just goes to show that upper management is still as stupid as ever, because they obviously cannot see quality when it slaps them in the face.
I do enjoy these shows and I hope they go on for a very long time.

  296. Eric Treesh on May 6th, 2011 11:25 am

Human Target, along with new favorite, Breaking In, plus Chicago Code and Traffic Light have all been cancelled by Fox! How do we protest here??!! Two seasons and a short one at that are a crime!!! We need a petition. Already wrote to Fox πŸ™

  298. Terry on May 11th, 2011 6:10 pm

Hope the cancellation is not true. So many people are looking for info on the 3rd Season. This is really unfair after having moved the show all over the calendar. The 2nd Season was great and we were all looking forward to Season 3. Very bad choice FOX, but not surprising being that instant gratification is all the networks think about instead of quality and potential.

  299. Tom Mack on May 11th, 2011 6:45 pm

I am very disappointed to see FOX cancel Human Target. Along with Fringe, House, and Chicago Code (which they also canceled) they were the best shows FOX had. These people have to realize that not every show is going to pull ratings like American Idol does. They need to understand that hitting niches is what sells advertising, not straight ratings. I hope they will change their mind like they did with Family Guy, but I am not holding my breath.

  300. Marisa Roffman on May 11th, 2011 8:09 pm

Unfortunately, it appears HUMAN TARGET’s cancellation is true: http://bit.ly/ml97o5

    It definitely stinks πŸ™

  301. Karl Gaspar on May 16th, 2011 7:22 pm

They need to bring back Human Target. It was one of the few shows I enjoyed watching. Since it has been off, I have stopped watching the FOX television channel. Thankfully, CBS is still getting it right with NCIS, NCIS:LA, Hawaii 5-0, Blue Bloods and CSI: Miami.

Also, NBC will basically be worthless (like ABC) if they take off CHUCK.

The problem is these network executives are a bunch of greedy pansies who don’t want to spend money on well written shows. They only wish to put garbage reality shows on the air which have virtually no production costs or experienced writers!

  302. asb on May 18th, 2011 5:08 am

I just want to know, how do TV shows like this get cancelled. It was the one reason I looked forward to Wenesday nights. When it moved, I moved. The cast in this show was just amazing. Their humor was unapproachable by any other show. What a disappointment. I have been in a slump since the announcement. I guess it just gives more spots for the stupid, stupid reality shows. Thank you to all of the actors on the show–you were so much fun to watch. I look forward to seeing you all in something else!!!

  304. Charlotte on May 23rd, 2011 7:23 am

Please Please do not cancel human target!! I have loved watching Mark Valley for years and he always does excellent work. For some reason his shows don’t get picked up. We don’t need another reality show when you have a great quality show like Human Target!! Please bring it back!

  306. Bill on May 25th, 2011 6:24 am

Great show, more people would watch if they could find it. Fox, what’s up with 2 or 3 season finals per year? Are you trying to have loyal fans so confused they give up on program loyalty?

  307. Jo on May 28th, 2011 10:39 pm

What is wrong with the decision makers at FOX. Canceling this show is a mistake. It is action packed, well-written, well-directed, superbly acted and charming. I was hooked the first time i saw it. It has all it needs to be a number one hit. FOX should reconsider and give it another season.

Fox cancels another show before it’s time. Human Target gets to join previous early exit shows: Fast Lane, Sarah Connor Chronicles, Dollhouse. Does Fox take DVR’s and Hulu and Netflix into account when it cancels a show??

  310. Daniel on June 1st, 2011 4:37 pm

What are Fox thinking as has been said many times already why cancel another great TV show which has a good dynamic & a very good following & to top it all they give Gordon “Foul Mouth” Ramsey another season of a TV show in cooking, how come ?
This really is irritating to see the immense senselessness in this decision,I admit I do not look at any TV really but this show I did as I find most other TV simply boring.
I will copy pates the reply that says it all really

I have found it exceedingly difficult to find series’ I can actually get caught up in. There just doesn’t seem to be the writers out there to fulfill my wishlist of television. Human Target Hit the nail right on the head and has taken itself to the top of my favorites list. The cast is amazing. The plot is excellent and the show really draws you in. I hope Human Target makes it several more seasons, it would be a true tragedy if it didn’t.

After they played with it’s airing time. There is nothing on TV that has come close. Bad form Fox!

  323. Ron on September 12th, 2011 1:51 pm

Fox?!?!?!? What the heck are you doing cancelling “Human Target”??!?! This was one of the coolest shows on your program schedule and if you had give it a steady time slot the show never would have been on the bubble anyway! I can’t figure you network gurus out! You get a winning show and then you shoot yourself in the foot bouncing it from one day to another to different times slots to boot then you scratch your heads and wonder why it doesn’t work! It’ NOT the show … it’s YOU! The show is awesome and needs to come back … YOU need to go!!

FOX You suck , why don’t you just do reallty tv . You sure don’t know a great show when you have one . Bring back Human Target !!!!!!!!!!!

HEY FOX! Our family were EXTREAMLY loyal 24 Fans never missed an episode – we have endured through all the nutty House plots and hung in – we adore Bones and were sorry to see Lie To Me Go – but your MASSIVE MISTAKE in cancelling Human Target – has left us questioning our loyalty to Fox programing. How is it Gordon Ramsey can have SEVERAL shows – and an AMAZING show with an AWSOME cast like Human Target gets bounced around your schedule? In spite of your seriously unfair scheduling – the show still managed to obtain a VERY DEVOTED following…. we had to SEARCH every week to find out what time it would be on – because it changed SO much – but we watched – and we LOVED IT – everyone in the family LOVED it – male – female – young – old – it was GREAT TV! We loved the cast – the story lines – the emotionally damaged action hero with a heart themes…. and the exciting pace! There wasn’t ANYTHING WE DIDN’T Like about the show – but Fox set it up to fail – and then without giving it a real chance to settle into a time slot and a set night – they cancelled it! Now we watch the left leaning Harrys Law – just so we can still see Mark Valley in action…. as a lawyer – again…. yuck! Fox – you could bring this show back – re-think your decision – lets face it after last season – House seriously jumped the shark – and with no more Jack Bauer – you don’t have much left to hold a lot of us…. Human Target was that show – I know it’s been awhile – but this could be done – BRING IT BACK! If not to network Fox – how about to FX? IF YOU BRING IT BACK – WE WILL WATCH – and I know from surfing around – there are LOTS of fans that feel the same! HEAR US – PLEASE!

Where the heck is Human Target? Keep hoping & praying it will pop back up. I still have it programed on the TV to tape just in case I miss it coming back on. Why do you people take off the good shows and leave all those terrible reality shows. Get it together and get Mark Valley back on this show. PLEASE!

We want a third season… Human Target is a great show and i believe you should start filming the third season and even start thinking for a fourth season as well… It’s different and way cooler than anything on tv today(especially those reality shows)!!!

I am writing this letter in response to the possibility of the cancelation of Human Target. I have never written a letter asking for renewal of a TV show but this time I felt compelled to do so. I would like to first thank you for bringing such a great show to TV for us to watch. I have grown to like this show over NCIS, NCIS LA, and Law and Order SVU. I noticed that at the end season 2 there has been the possibility of a cancellation of Human Target; please do not cancel Human Target

  329. Alex Pap on November 1st, 2011 4:10 pm

Seriously guys… what were you thinking cancelling this show? I’m from Greece, the second season just ended and I find out the 3rd one was cancelled?!? I mean, really??? This is a great show and even if it takes them some time to reconsider, it should be back on air with all the cast as everyone was great.

Oh and it is not the first time I find out that a show I like gets cancelled by Fox…

  330. fazer dreamer on November 3rd, 2011 3:19 am

Everybody wants Human Target to be continued here in Greece. You just give us third circle. That simple! Why you make it so difficult??

  331. Chia on November 4th, 2011 11:37 pm

Human Target is such a great show. Very unique. We already have a lot of crime drama shows but nothing like this one. Such a shame that Human Target is cancelled. I guess all good thing must come to an end no matter how good they are. I really still do hope for a season 3, 4, 5 and many more. But for now all I can do is watch the two seasons I bought and hope for the best. Human Target is such a great show.

as an avid ht viewer from across the pond i’m a little shocked to say the least that fox are cancelling the series any series takes a couple of seasons to get into its stride and believe you me i think the team have found that winning combination which makes a series great to mention another american series that took two seasons to get it right was chuck it was given a chance and has run for five seasons or so i know its a diffewrent network but i’m sure you can appreciate what i’m saying.

if fox want to keep selling this type of entertainment in the uk they need to start listening to thier viewers, there have been a lot of american programmes ,shows entertainers etc whom have not made it big in the us of a but have been massively successful here in the uk.

don’t be so short sighted fox and give Chance a Chance !

  333. Jaqui Graham on January 2nd, 2012 4:53 pm

As usual when a great programme comes along Foxs gets rid of it
Why give us a good programme then YOU deside to drop it
We spend the time watching it and getting evolved with the characters
Then you cancel with no warning
What do we all get in return Crap
How to get pregnant at 14 or how
To stay fat for thirty years In England we have some intelligence and like a bit
Of drama and comedy You really don’t know you have a good programme unless
You ask the important people US
Regards. Very unhappy ex viewer Jaqui
PS not watching anymore of your programmes
To be let down AGAIN You dont know what loyalty is
    Yes I have finished now

  335. Giordano Filipponi on January 13th, 2012 2:02 pm

The dumbest move ever by FOX was to cancel this show…I am not watching FOX ever again.

  336. Luke on January 24th, 2012 6:15 pm

This show was one that had everything! Good, wholesome, engaging episodes that require a refined appreciation of writing; the cast had impecable chemistry. Why do networks feel the need to destroy a wonderful creation! The problem with a lot of modern day entertainment is that it does not require a lot of thought to produce it. We are young but understand why the classics are in fact “classics” and the reason why few modern shows will ever be classics. I hope they pay from a loss of revenue from a lack of commerical ads as a direct result of this stupidity!

  337. Jay on May 21st, 2012 10:14 pm

I really enjoyed this show. Do not care for all these reality shows at all and c’mon, the law and order/csi is really getting annoying. I was bummed that human target is no more because I am left wanting more. Enjoyed all of the episodes.

I’m from Greece and as you can see by my name i’m a girl. I do not usually watch TV. Only when i see that something worths-to-watch is on. Something that is very very very rare for me to say. So, last year i saw Human Target. Only one thing to say; i wasn’t going to the bathroom because i was afraid that i will loose a second from the episode. I’ve never felt that way for a TV series before. So, this year, i woke up one day, and while i was in the kitchen i’ve heard the trailer for the Human Target, i’ve run inside the living room and i saw that it was going to be on TV every day at 21:00. Have you seen a person who never watches TV, to jumping around the living room for twenty minutes because of a TV series? Me neither, it was the first time. So, tonight it was the last episode. I cried, just like one year ago. Call me emotional person, i don’t care, i am just trying to say that, TV is full of junks and i found one TV series that made me cry, and i was wishing with all my heart to be a 3rd season, and then i am hearing that they cancelled it… Thank you soooooooooo much Fox, because now you gave me one more reason never watch TV again!!!!!!!!!! But, do you know something? I don’t care if other people don’t watching Human Target, let them watching junks. I know only, that it was amazing and it was the only time that i didn’t feel like wasting my time when i am watching at this box.
I still hope for 3rd season. Or at least make a website or something, where we will be able to watch the new season/seasons :/
