DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES concludes its season Sunday night, and one of the show’s most solid couples is hitting their roughest patches yet.
Tom and Lynette have struggled through a lot — a secret kid, unplanned pregnancies, the death of a child, cancer and much more — but Tom’s new job is causing major tension between the couple. She can’t handle his success and losing her control over the relationship and he’s getting annoyed with the way she’s treating him.
I talked with series star Doug Savant (Tom) about the latest battles between Tom and Lynette, if their marriage can be saved and Savant’s future with the show…
SMALLVILLE Series Finale Recap

Hey SMALLVILLE fans! Wow, what a way to end the show! It was perfect in every way. One thing’s for sure the cast and crew of SMALLVILLE really out did themselves in this last and final episode of the decade-long series! While managing to cater to every major SMALLVILLE cast members personal storyline, showrunners managed to wrap up all of the loose ends, move us with footage from over the years, bring this season’s long running Darkseid storyline to a close, as well as Clark Kent’s long journey to becoming Superman! I loved the flash forward scenes with Chloe and her son (Ollie Jr.?) seven years into the future. And although the entire two hours were great, there were several very special moments in the show that I’m sure will stay with fans everywhere.
SMALLVILLE Executive Producers Brian Peterson and Kelly Souders Tease the Series Finale

After ten seasons of SMALLVILLE, the series comes to an epic conclusion tonight. But saying goodbye to the show is a little bittersweet to those involved.
“This was a huge endeavor and had a lot of challenges,” executive producer Brian Peterson told reporters earlier this week. “It feels like a huge weight has been lifted. But, more importantly, I think we’re really proud that everyone put 110% into the finale.”
For longtime fans of the series, the return of Michael Rosenbaum (Lex) is one of the most anticipated parts of the two-hour episode.
Report: Sarah Michelle Gellar Returns To TV on The CW’s THE RINGER

Filed under The Ringer, TV News
Well, this is a surprise.
Sarah Michelle Gellar’s new pilot, THE RINGER had been in the mix for a pickup at CBS, but Deadline is now reporting it will be picked up by The CW.
The series follows Bridget (Gellar), who is on the run from the mob, and attempts to hide out by assuming the life of her twin sister, Siobhan…until she realizes her sister’s life is in danger, too. The series costars Kristoffer Polaha (LIFE UNEXPECTED).
Will you be watching?! (For what it’s worth, the only acceptable answer to that question is a resounding YES.)

CBS Orders PERSON OF INTEREST and TWO BROKE GIRLS

J.J. Abrams is one step closer to television domination.
Following ALCATRAZ’s pick up over on Fox earlier this week, CBS has ordered the Abrams-produced show PERSON OF INTEREST for the 2011-2012 season. Not only does the plot sound interesting — a presumed dead CIA agent works with a billionaire to prevent crimes in New York — but it stars Jim Caviezel, Taraji P. Henson and reunites Abrams with former LOST star Michael Emerson.
CBS also ordered TWO BROKE GIRLS, a comedy series about two 22-year-old New Yorkers. It stars Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs.
Will you give either of these a try?

The only bright side to ABC’s mass cancellation? A whole bunch of new shows!
In addition to the renewals of HAPPY ENDINGS and BODY OF PROOF, ABC has picked up a CHARLIE’S ANGELS reboot starring Minka Kelly; ONCE UPON A TIME, a fairy-tale set series starring Ginnifer Goodwin and Jennifer Morrison; Tim Allen’s latest comedy LAST MAN STANDING; SCANDAL from Shonda Rhimes; PAN AM, starring Christina Ricci; the Count of Monte Cristo- based REVENGE; THE RIVER, a thriller; APT. 23 — formerly called THE BITCH IN APT. 23 — which features James Van Der Beek playing himself; Darren Star’s GOOD CHRISTIAN BELLES, which was infamously formerly titled GOOD CHRISTIAN BITCHES; WORK IT, which is apparently about men who dress like women for their job; MAN UP, about male friends;and SUBURGATORY, a family sitcom.
Phew. Any sound interesting?

ABC is apparently cleaning house: OFF THE MAP, DETROIT 187, MR. SUNSHINE, BETTER WITH YOU and NO ORDINARY FAMILY have all been canceled. They join the recently canceled V and BROTHERS & SISTERS.
This leaves the fate of BODY OF PROOF as the sole ABC series up in the air.
Which show’s cancellations upsets you the most?

Report: ABC Cancels V and BROTHERS & SISTERS
May 13, 2011 by Marisa Roffman
Filed under Brothers & Sisters, TV News, V
Multiple outlets are reporting that ABC has canceled V and BROTHERS & SISTERS.
While the season finale of BROTHERS & SISTERS had some closure and a potential series finale feel to it — the hour included a wedding, romantic reunions and a pregnancy — the V season finale definitely didn’t.
Are you disappointed to lose the Walkers? Or are you more bummed about V not getting a third season?

Exclusive First Look: Emily Deschanel, Eliza Dushku and Katee Sackhoff Get Animated on THE CLEVELAND SHOW
May 13, 2011 by Marisa Roffman
Filed under #1 featured, GMMR Exclusives, The Cleveland Show
THE CLEVELAND SHOW heads to Comic-Con in Sunday’s season finale, as Cleveland attempts to sell his own comic book creation, “Waderman.” The rest of the Brown-Tubbs family tags along and naturally gets into some trouble of their own — Cleveland Jr. is annoyed by the Hollywood influences, so he brings together an angry group of nerds to remind people the true meaning of the Con. And poor Donna is horrified to find there is a screening of a Blaxploitation film she starred in when she was younger.
In the exclusive clip below, Cleveland is having trouble drumming up interest for “Waderman,” so he bribes Rallo to help him out. Unfortunately for both of them, they’re about to get outdone in a major way by Eliza Dushku (DOLLHOUSE), Katee Sackhoff (BATTLESTAR GALACTICA) and Emily Deschanel’s (BONES) appearance at Fox’s very flashy Comic-Con booth…
