WAREHOUSE 13 Recap: ‘Love Sick’

July 26, 2011 by

What do you get when you cross WC Field’s Juggling Balls, Marilyn Monroe’s hairbrush and some good old fashioned emotional denial between partners? Pete and a (mysteriously) blond Myka, naked in bed together. As Pete might say, “Say what?” And as anyone who has seen much of WAREHOUSE 13 might say…exactly.

The third offering of season three is just as quirky and deliciously creepy as the other episodes we’ve had so far. And for the first time this summer, the ‘warehouse’ is its own character, so to speak, and we got to see a lot of little artifacts as one offs. But how *exactly* did Pete and Myka end up naked together? And why in Artie’s bed? Before you can say “that’s hot!” or “um, ew!” I should also mention that meanwhile, Claudia and Artie were investigating a horrifyingly diabolical computer virus that causes its victims’ DNA to shift to hard clay substances and diatomaceous earth.

Oh yeah…and Jinksy got bronzed.

Drama galore on ABC Family tonight, with exciting episodes of both PRETTY LITTLE LIARS and THE NINE LIVES OF CHLOE KING.

If you need a little reality in your life, check out the talented acts on AMERICA’S GOT TALENT or the chefs on both HELL’S KITCHEN and MASTERCHEF.

Keep reading for the rest of the selection…

Hell’s Kitchen | 8pm on Fox
“14 Chefs Compete”
With just 14 chefs remaining, Chef Ramsay pits the red team against the blue team in another intense challenge. The winning team celebrates in high style while the losing team is left behind to fulfill drab duties. Tune in to see which contestants end up on the chopping block.

Pretty Little Liars | 8pm on ABC Family
“Surface Tension”
It’s moving day for Emily, and with a new place to call home, she is feeling more like a guest than part of the family. Hanna is also feeling uneasy, but for her it is in regard to Caleb’s continued shady “business” dealings and his nonchalant attitude about it. And when Toby makes a surprising discovery, Spencer is thrown for a loop by the find and her father’s reaction to it. With the girls already on edge, could they be sitting targets for “A’s” next move? Or does “A” have bigger plans for the four and is just making them wait? Meanwhile, Aria is put in a tricky position when both Ezra and Jason are invited to the Montgomery dinner party and vie for her attention when the soiree goes awry.

CASTLE Executive Producer Laurie Zaks Teases the Castle-Beckett Dynamic in Season 4

July 25, 2011 by

Given that Castle told Beckett he loved her after she was shot in the CASTLE season finale, how will the dynamic in season 4 be handled now that his true feelings are out? After all, those three little words are a pretty huge step for a (potential) couple.

To get the answer to that, I posed that query to CASTLE executive producer Laurie Zaks after their Comic-Con panel.

Comments Off on EUREKA’s Neil Grayston Teases Monday’s Episode, Talks Fargo’s Love Life

There’s a brand new episode of EUREKA tonight and when I asked series star Neil Grayston (Fargo) what fans could expect from it, he explained that because they had shot it so long ago — the series is filming season 5 right now. What’s airing is season 4.5, which was shot more than a year ago — the cast literally went over the episode list together to try and figure out what the hour involved.

Take a look at what Grayston teased about the episode, plus his take on Fargo’s love life and which classic science-fiction series he’s never seen…

Comments Off on LOST at Comic-Con: Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse Give Fans a New ‘Deleted’ Scene

I was lucky enough to see many of my favorite shows at Comic-Con, but one of the events I really regret not being able to make was EW’s “Totally LOST: One Year Later” panel.

As it turned out, not only did former LOST bosses Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse show up to talk with fans, but they also brought a “deleted” scene to show they knew what they were doing all along — and to reveal the Man in Black’s real name.

THE GLEE PROJECT: ‘Tenacity’

July 25, 2011 by

After all of the drama that went down at Sunday’s GLEE panel at Comic-Con, I was apprehensive about tonight’s episode of THE GLEE PROJECT. Before the show started, I was worried that my opinions of today would cloud my judgment, but in all honesty, the only thing that happened was I found myself annoyed at Ryan Murphy every time he was on screen.

The theme of the week was tenacity (which, if you were to play a drinking game based on how many times a contestant said “tenacity” or any of its derivatives, you would be on-the-floor drunk) with Max Adler serving as a guest judge during the homework challenge. The contenders sang La Roux’s “Bulletproof” and got angry with it, complete with chair-throwing and furniture-jumping. Max picked Marissa as the winner – which I found odd, as I would have picked Samuel or Hannah, since I didn’t think Marissa showed any kind of emotion when she sang – and made it her second win in a row.

CHUCK at Comic Con: Is Morgan Ready to be The Intersect?

July 24, 2011 by

Fedak! What were you thinking?  Did you really think Morgan Guillermo Grimes could honestly take over as The Intersect?

No way dude. I know that this was your end game. There is no way you though NBC would bring CHUCK back for a fifth and final season.

Well they did, and you’re screwed, buddy!

Ah, I’m just having a little fun…it’s going to ‘AWESOME’!

The cast and creative team behind CHUCK always treat their Comic Con audience to something a little special, and this year they didn’t disappoint.

The myth. The man. The Intersect – Morgan Grimes, teams up with Captain Awesome and Jeffster to help him (and all of us) get pumped for Season 5 of CHUCK.

And yes, I know this video was created as a lighthearted treat for fans, but I’d by lying if I said I didn’t get a little hitch in my heart when Zac looked at Josh and said “One more time”. This was the last CHUCK Comic Con panel. Sad to think that they won’t be back next year. What a journey it’s been.

Were you lucky enough to attend the CHUCK Comic Con panel this year? Tell us about it.
