HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER Season 7: Robin and Barney, Sitting in a Tree?!

When we last left our HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER gang, viewers learned that the future wedding Ted, Lily and Marshall were attending was Barney’s big day.

The bride, however, is still a big question mark. Will it be Nora, the woman who seems to be captivating Barney in our current timeline? Robin, who seems to be falling for her oblivious ex-boyfriend again? Some mystery woman we’ve yet to meet?

While presently, Nora seems like the most likely candidate, for those of you who are firmly on Team Robin, all hope is certainly not lost.

In fact, take a look at this steamy promotional picture CBS has released for HIMYM season 7…

Um…yeah. I don’t even know what to say. I don’t need Robin and Barney to get together in the premiere and then be happy as a couple for the rest of the series in order to be a satisfied viewer…but I will say they are making it increasingly difficult for me to fathom an outcome where Robin wasn’t the bride in Barney’s future wedding that I would be satisfied with. I mean, just look at those two!

Am I crazy? Do you prefer Barney with Nora? Hope he finds someone new? Or are you drooling a bit over this Robin-Barney photo?

    Is it wrong that I am just more concerned with Ted finding happiness?!

    (And of course I am Team Robin…she’s Canadian for heaven’s sake! 😉 )

    I’m Team Robin! Those two are great together and I’ve always been more invested in their story (or stories in the first seasons) than in Ted’s.
    Nora is okay, but I really don’t think she’d be a good fit for Barney.

    (and of course I’m drooling over that pic. there’s Barney and Robin and that means there’s NPH to look at, so definitely drooling)
