GREY’S ANATOMY: Debbie Allen to Guest Star

GREY’S ANATOMY’s Jackson is about to get a visit from some family: ABC has confirmed to Give Me My Remote that Debbie Allen has been cast as Dr. Avery’s mother.
According to EW (who first reported the casting news), Allen will appear in the fifth hour of the season.
What do you hope Allen’s visit will mean for Jackson? Do you hope we’ll get more insight into his family? Think she’ll have something to say about his relationship with Lexie?
