SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE: Tina Fey, Jimmy Fallon, Amy Poehler and Seth Meyers Have a Weekend Update ‘Joke Off’

December 18, 2011 by

SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE’s Weekend Update is usually the highlight of the show for me, but on the last episode of 2011, they put the icing on top of the already delicious cake.

With former SNL-er Jimmy Fallon as the guest host, I was hoping he would join the current Weekend Update host Seth Meyer at the desk. Instead, we got something even better: an old-fashioned “joke off” where Fallon brought in former co-host, Tina Fey, and Meyer recruited his former co-host, Amy Poehler.

Take a look!

So which duo do you think won?!

My favorite parts were Tina’s buzzer noises. But the whole thing was just great.

The Weekend Update was awesome! I love Amy Poehler, Tina Fey and Jimmy Fallon! They are some of the funniest one SNL. I wasn’t able to catch the show when it was on because I was on a trip to California. I even forgot to set my DVR! As soon as I got home, I checked DISH Online and they were there! Better late than never! I’ve had a lot of time to play with DISH Online, and I know there are many different shows like Saturday Night Live that are available even if you are not a customer. If you are a subscriber, then you have access to even more! Whether or not I worked for DISH, I would still use DISH Online all the time because I can watch many different shows wherever I want on my computer. I am looking forward to the new shows this year!
