ONE LIFE TO LIVE: Robert S. Woods and Hillary B. Smith Reflect on Their Time Working Together

For primetime shows, it’s a huge accomplishment to reach 5 seasons. 10 seasons or longer is practically a miracle. On a daytime soap, the rules are entirely different.

Case in point? ONE LIFE TO LIVE costars Robert S. Woods (Bo) and Hillary B. Smith (Nora) who have been working together for nearly 20 years. (Woods has actually been acting on the series for 32 years!)

I sat down with Woods and Smith at OLTL’s final press day in New York late last year to discuss the show’s finishing up its time on ABC, what kind of ending Bo and Nora would have, and the anticipated transition to an online network. (Since those interviews took place in early November, Prospect Park announced they would no longer be going forward with those plans.)
