HOUSE Creator David Shore on Reaching the End of the Series

April 30, 2012 by

Fresh off Wilson’s cancer reveal, the last four episodes of HOUSE seem set to go out with a bang. Add in that the series finale is titled “Everybody Dies,” and it doesn’t seem like there are any bright and shiny endings planned for the series.

To get a little more intel about what’s coming up, I spoke with HOUSE creator David Shore at the series finale party to see how he was doing with the show’s end, highlighting the House/Wilson friendship, potential fatalities, if he had any regrets and more…

House is my all time favorite. The ending to last episode April 30th/12, the “c” word was well, typical House! Loved that he made Wilson laugh as well as me.

Just heartbroken about the end of House. The black dramedy was unique and there were no holds barred. Only criticism is the absence of “Cuddy” in final year. The interplay between House and Cuddy was wonderful yet heartbreaking at times.Hugh Laurie and Lisa Edelstein are such fine actors. And kudos to the writers of this strangely beloved show.

    I shall really miss it.
