THE BIG C to End After Season 4

July 30, 2012 by

THE BIG C is coming to an end.

“We are moving ahead with the conclusion of the THE BIG C,” David Nevins, President of Showtime, told reporters during his Television Critics Association executive session.

And instead of a traditional season run, Nevins said the series will conclude with “four one-hour installments.”

I think this makes sense (and not just because last season made me a little nutty). I’m glad they are going into the final run with a clear idea of what they want to do and already aware of the time (and pacing) allowed to do it.
