ONCE UPON A TIME Lands LOST Vet Jorge Garcia

Comments Off on ONCE UPON A TIME Lands LOST Vet Jorge Garcia

It’s official: ABC has confirmed that LOST’s Jorge Garcia is coming to ONCE UPON A TIME.

According to EW.com (who was first to report the news), Garcia will play “The Giant.” While further details are scarce, the Jack and the Beanstalk-themed OUAT title card that debuted at Comic-Con seems to indicate Garcia may play a part of that tale.

Of course, this isn’t the first LOST tie-in on ONCE UPON A TIME. Not only did OUAT co-creators Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz write for LOST, but Garcia’s former costar, Emilie de Ravin (Belle) was recently made a series regular on ABC series, and frequent LOST guest star Alan Dale has popped up on OUAT, too.

Are you excited to see Garcia on ONCE UPON A TIME?

Comments Off on SUPERNATURAL: Mark Sheppard, Misha Collins, and Jim Beaver Talk Season 8, Keeping Secrets

What do you get when you talk with three actors who can’t really share what they’ll be doing on the upcoming season of their show? Well, you get a lot of teasing from SUPERNATURAL stars Mark Sheppard (Crowley), Misha Collins (Castiel), and Jim Beaver (Bobby).

But that doesn’t mean these men aren’t awfully enjoyable as they attempt to tease what’s to come while not spoiling/ruining the experience for fans.

Take a look at what Sheppard, Collins, and Beaver had to say to reporters at Comic-Con…

FRINGE Season 5 Premiere Promo: ‘You Are Fighting Much More Than I Would Have Thought Possible’

August 29, 2012 by

You know that feeling when the day starts off good and then everything gets derailed? Yeah, that’s pretty much what this new FRINGE promo feels like.

Things start off with a seemingly innocent day in the park for Olivia and Peter (though an earlier preview teased how that goes), and then things quickly go bad and fast. There are certainly some intriguing flashes of what’s to come, the most alarming thing I’ve seen in a bit is shown while this line is uttered: “You are fighting much more than I would have thought possible.”

But don’t take my word for it. Take a look at the possibly traumatizing promo below and then join me for a group hug or some sort of comfort food round-up, because I have a feeling we’re going to need it…

Comments Off on Watch THE NEW NORMAL Pilot Now!

With all the fuss over NBC’s new comedy, THE NEW NORMAL (certain stations are refusing to air it, One Million Moms are calling for a boycott, etc.), wouldn’t it make sense to watch the pilot (which is about exploring all the different kinds of family dynamics) before getting upset so you can see what the show is actually about?

Lucky for you, NBC has released the full pilot for THE NEW NORMAL (a show I actually find charming) a few weeks before its official television debut, so check it out now…

Comments Off on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE Sets Hosts and Musical Acts for First 3 Episodes

SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE is just a few short weeks from returning, and that means it’s time for the reveal of who the first batch of hosts/musical guests will be. Personally, I’m delighted they’re kicking off the season with FAMILY GUY creator Seth MacFarlane, who is not only wickedly hilarious (you saw TED this summer, yes?), but also has musical talent. (Though he’s not the official musical guest — Frank Ocean gets that honor.)

Take a look at who you can expect on your screen the first three weeks of SNL, courtesy of an NBC press release…

Oh Sit! | 8pm on The CW
“Episode 105”
In this fun, high-stakes, high-octane musical chairs competition, 12 thrill-seeking daredevils race head-to-head through five physically demanding, chair-splitting obstacle course-style eliminations as they each compete to claim a chair – all to the sounds of a live band. At the end of the hour, only one contestant will be left sitting triumphant to seize the cash prize and the title of OH SIT! champion. The show is hosted by Jamie Kennedy (“The Ghost Whisperer”) and actress/television host Jessi Cruickshank (“MTV Live”). Adding to the fun, Tanika Ray (“Extra”) will be in the trenches with the contestants both on and off the track, and will add color commentary from the sidelines as the action unfolds. The musical guest is Chiddy Bang (“Ray Charles”).

So much more. Keep reading…

The pilot for THE MINDY PROJECT has been online for over 24 hours, so I’m assuming many of you have taken the time to view it, yes?

Since I’ve watched the pilot several times (and I’ll have more for you about what’s specifically to come closer to the show’s premiere), I was curious what the stars of the series wanted to say to viewers after the first episode was made available online nearly a month before its television debut.

NEW GIRL: Jake Johnson Talks Nick/Jess and Season 2

August 28, 2012 by
Filed under #1 featured, New Girl

When NEW GIRL ended last season, Nick — fresh off of panicking about moving in with his girlfriend — returned to the apartment to live with Jess, Schmidt, and Winston. So yes, when we pick up in season 2, some things are similar…but that could change when Nick gets a (possible) glimpse of what’s to come when someone claiming to be a version of Nick from the future gives him some intel. Hmm…

I talked with Jake Johnson (Nick) to see what he could tease about that visit from Future Nick, how he felt about all the NEW GIRL fan support, Nick/Jess, and more…
