FRINGE Exclusive First Look: The Future Isn’t Looking So Bright For Peter in ‘Transilience Thought Unifier Model-11’

When FRINGE’s fifth (and final) season kicks off in September, we’re going to be spending a whole lot of time in the future fans first witnessed in season 4’s “Letters of Transit.” That’s good news for viewers who were dying to see what came next after the shenanigans that went down in 2036.
And we have a little tease for you of what’s to come.
Give Me My Remote has an exclusive photo from the FRINGE season premiere episode, “Transilience Thought Unifier Model-11,” and Peter Bishop does not look pleased. At all. Hmm…
I wonder why Peter is looking so cranky? Could Etta (and that looks more like her than the MIA Olivia) be delivering some bad news? Or perhaps he was hoping to find someone in that carved out amber?
I need your best theories, guys!
FRINGE’s final season premieres September 28th at 9 PM on Fox.

I think he was hopping to find Olivia in the amber but someone must have caught her first, and he obviosly isn’t happy with that, because who should have caught her? and where they gonna find her now?
Thousand conjectures. Yes, this photo Peter seems somewhat incredulous and a bit annoyed, as if asking, “… but where is Olivia!” I particularly looking at this photo, I also do a question: “What if Olivia has already left or been removed from the amber, and be somehow hidden?” As I said, there are several possibilities, does not it?
I think its not cranky but confused like he is trying to retrace his steps prior to being ambered.
That’s just Peter’s “thinking things through” face. He always furrows his brow while he’s coming up with the solutions to the latest incredible mystery.
I bet he is looking for his dad!

That’s totally Peter’s “what is this shenanigans?!” face.
As long as they give this show a better ending than Lost, I’ll be happy.
Is it the same amber that he was pulled out of? If it is, where’s Simon? If it’s not, I think he’s just retracing his steps. There are multiple slots cut out of that amber, not just the one he’s standing in front of (Etta’s in front of one, too). Or they lost Walter somewhere in a maze of amber walls and he’s annoyed.
That’s totally Etta. Olivia is in the amber.
Doesn’t anyone remember that Etta wears a bullet around her neck ? And that Walter takes William Bells hand because of “what he did to olivia” ? I assumed she’s dead like she is in every other time line ! And this episode aired before the season finale so something did or didn’t change that’s what we will find out
The lines in that cut-out are going perpendicular to any possible cutting method and the other cut lines… an unusually sloppy detail by this show’s crew.
I bet he’s looking for a rhubarb and sardine sandwich with a rootbeer on the side for Walter.

it seem that Olivia was abducted and put in some golden liquid- ̣̣some kind of formalin maybe, I’m not sure. And i think Peter was not happy when Etta told him that
I think that Broyles has got Olivia and Simon in the amber and has gone back to fringe division with them – remember he tracked Simon to there at the end of “letters in transit” and found Walter’s red licorice?
That look on Peter’s face is when someone is messing with Olivia. And Etta has the answer that Peter does not like. <3 ya Peter-
