On the Set of FRINGE: John Noble Thanks the Fans

September 28, 2012 by

As we inch closer and closer to FRINGE’s final hours, the people involved with the show are remaining vocal about how this farewell season is only possible thanks to the fans.

On a conference call earlier this week, FRINGE showrunner J.H. Wyman told reporters he adored the fans and that “I think the only thing that did save the show were the reactions of the media and the fans that sort of could identify the heart in the program and the aspirational ideas in the program and they responded to that.”

And he’s not alone in that thought.

When FRINGE star John Noble (Walter) sat down with reporters on the set earlier this week, he ended the interview with a lovely message: “We simply wouldn’t be here without that fanbase.”

Take a look at Noble’s thank you to the fans…

Oh Mr. John Noble, you are deserving of all the praise we can give it, no doubt. Its odd talent, alongside other actors also fantastic, do all that is artistic grandeur that Fringe has.

I think the last season of Fringe is kind of bittersweet. On the one hand, I wish this were not the last season and the creators could have more fully finished the show. On the other hand, I’m glad they’re at least being given the opportunity to finish the story instead of being cancelled abruptly.

I will remember this show long after it leaves my television screen. Its brilliance will shine on, and my cats, Walter Bishop and William Bell, will make sure I think of these characters and actors daily. Thank you all for your incredible work.

Thank you, Walter ähh. Mr. Noble. I personally hope, that’s a way the show goes on. Maybe another Network, or international cooperation. You have Fans all over the World and we shouldn’t give up. Salutations from Germany.

I’m am really going to miss Fringe. It is, for my money, the most imaginative and engaging show on network television and I don’t see another like it coming along any time soon. Thank you to all the wonderful actors, writers and especially fans involved who stopped the network (really? They couldn’t find a “reality” show to ditch?), for letting us have something engaging to watch each week for three seasons. I guess it’s on to cable from now on.
