FRINGE: 6 Teases About ‘In Absentia’

October 4, 2012 by

We only have 12 episodes left in this FRINGE journey, so I’m really hesitant to tease too much about tomorrow night’s brand new episode…but it’s also very fascinating, so I can’t help but want to talk a little bit about it.

So while I didn’t feel it was fair to do a traditional “You Ask, I Answer,” I do have a couple of teasers about “In Absentia”…

  • There were at least four different things that reminded me/made me think about LOST in the hour. You may have guessed several of them from the promos, but at least one of them isn’t included there.
  • With some of the glow from their reunion behind them, the Bishop family is able to face some of the realities of their time apart. Etta’s a big girl, and that isn’t always easy for Olivia.
  • Walter and Astrid should always be allowed to play with gadgets. Always.
  • I had no clue when I posted a photo on Twitter of a FRINGE-y item I received in late July that it was actually a tease for episode 2.
  • At least one moment made me gasp out loud.
  • This is important:

So, that may be vague, but hopefully it helps for now. And I’ll have a bit more for you over the next couple of days from the stars of the show, so be on the lookout for that!

FRINGE airs Fridays at 9 PM on Fox.

1 – Wyman has spoken, that this fifth and final season of Fringe, will be like a “love letter” to fans! I hope it …

2 – The “Fringe team” definitely been replaced now by “Dunham-Bishop family.” Now are other issues, other fights, all are other things, other dangers … another Fringe.

3 – [speculation] I think Fringe ends with a “back to the present …”

    4 – I have no idea …
