FRINGE: Joshua Jackson Teases What’s to Come

December 4, 2012 by

One of the most alarming problems (as of now) as we lead into FRINGE’s final six episodes is Peter and his rapidly deteriorating humanity. (This is why we should not be playing with Observer tech. So, you know, if you find yourself in that position in the future…)

When I was up in Vancouver for the Fox show’s 100th episode/finale event, I spoke with FRINGE star Joshua Jackson (Peter) about finally getting to indulge in his Observer-y side, and where that might take him for the end of the series…

I am enjoying the Peterserver storyline a lot, so I hope it doesn’t end any time soon.

I love Fringe this season, probably the best one yet. Too bad this is the show’s last season, but at least they’ve had the chance to wrap up the story the way they want. My coworker at DISH and I still can’t believe what’s going on with Peter. Hopefully there can be a happy ending for the Bishop Family. I’ve been catching the show on my DISH Hopper so I can watch when I want. It has PrimeTime Anytime which will record the four major networks during prime time automatically. I get the whole season of Fringe, and my other favorite prime time shows, without having to remember to set individual show timers. I can’t wait to see how the show wraps up, it’s been one of my favorites over the years.

Yea, this is the last season. Rating weren’t great last season so Fox decided to cancel it. They are at least letting them end the show with a 13 episode season. A lot of shows now that do have a good following but not great rating are now allowed to at least create an ending for their show instead of a abrupt stop of the season. All of this is probably because of the horrible job they did with canceling Firefly which had so few episodes, but such a vast number of loyal fans.
