THE FOLLOWING: 7 (Vague) Teases About ‘Whips and Regrets’

March 28, 2013 by

It’s often hard to say too much about what’s coming up on THE FOLLOWING without spoiling too much, but after viewing next Monday’s episode, “Whips and Regrets” (what a freaking title, right?), I had to tease a little bit about the hour…

  • Ryan and Parker don’t exactly see eye-to-eye on how to handle a lead about Joe’s followers, and that could lead to all sorts of trouble.
  • The Jacob we knew is gone. Sure, we got indications of how dark and twisted he was in “Guilt,” but boy, he’s something else in “Whips and Regrets.”
  • Uh, maybe keep an eye on Roderick. He’s not exactly what you’d deem “stable.” (And if you stand out as crazy in a house filled with serial killers, maybe you have some issues.)
  • You know those Halloween horror mazes that seem to pop up every autumn? A good chunk of the episode features some of our good guys in something kind of like that, and while it’s not exactly horror movie scary, it was pretty intense.
  • It might sound impossible, but the Ryan-Joe relationship gets even weirder.
  • Joe makes it clear what he wants/expects from his reunion with Claire…and she’s blunt with her own expectations as well.
  • You’ll get some insight into Molly (Ryan’s ex/a just-revealed follower of Joe), but you’ll leave the hour with at least one Very Big Question.

Are you counting down the hours until Monday’s brand new episode of THE FOLLOWING?
